Perfect and reliable – Just purchased my 7.5kg Haier recently and have been more than satisfied with its cleaning of my laundry, even my delicates. Leaking during wash – Leaking after 3rd wash. The driver came back for a check and confirm it’s door seal problem but Appliancesonline refuse to refund instead offer store credit only. program. Contacting Harvey Norman, informed that it is obviously a manufacture default. But no, they have to assess it and see whether they can shift the blame to installation, whether it is levelled, whether the filter is blocked (remember it is only 6 days old and only second wash). I am now waiting and pushing to have it assessed and replaced asap, and apparently Harvey Norman can only replace within 7 days, so let’s wait and see whether they will count the waiting period and then tell me they can’t replace it anymore. So far not so happy, washer suppose to make my life easier, not harder....

times. The build quality and manufacturing has completely changed. I've taken the machines apart and compared them side by side, old and new. All of the parts have chamged manufacturer and some of the design is different, all changes looks to be inferior from the original. For one example, the new rubber seal is thinner and holds standing water, whereas the old did not. New machine is incredibly loud especially with a totally new banging sound that starts on high spin speed. At first I thought the sound was a manufacturing or installation fault, now on the 3rd new machine, I'm certain its the new crappy build quality. Machine is now too loud to keep in a small apartment. Forget about being in the same room as it on spin, it will deafen you. I've had to settle with this machine as I have to wash clothes at some point but I regret giving away my old one.

extra downloadable programs and seem way more complicated than they need to be, with a price tag to match. So, I bought this one. I used it for a small load first to see how it performs. I chose the Daily Wash, then my spin speed and water temp. Spin was amazing! 1200 really gets the water out, and quieter than my old top loader. (which had 850 speed). I have washed a few more loads and learnt a few things along the way. There was no sound to alert me that the cycle was finished. The manual comes with instructions (page 9 of my manual) to enable / disable audible alarm. It is quite easy to do and I like this idea because if I use the delay function to wash during the night to be ready when I wake and I do not want to be disturbed by “beeps”, I can turn it off. On the other hand, I like it enabled when washing during the day, love that I have the choice! It also remembers my last setting when I turn off the power. I did wash my towels on hot wash using the amount of detergent as advised on the product. However, I remembered too late that the hotter the water, the more suds and it did leak a little. The next hot water load I did I used less than the recommended amount and had no problems. I use liquid detergent as I have found powdered ones do not always dissolve. The manual says not to use liquid when using delay function, so I purchased some pods for these times. Overall, I am more than happy with this machine, affordable, ease of use and performs well. As an extra note: I ordered from Bing Lee online on Tuesday and they delivered Friday. They took my old one away, set this one up including connecting, levelling (adjusting the feet) then ran water to make sure the hose was connected correctly. All for $60! up we decided to try it. It seems to be quite solid, though not up to European quality it is not far behind. It is a pleasure and simple to use with a good range of functions. The Energy usage stated is also pretty good in comparison. Yes, it is a bit clunky but that doesn't seem to affect durability I think, it just has less dampening I think. Yes, the spin does have a bit of an intrusive loud frequency, but if you can put up with that like we can (even though in an old house which vibrates all over) then the rest is ok. I don't like to purchase throw away items, especially when they are big and heavy to move and not an easy project to replace, but I think this one will be good for 5 years and some $2000 machines don't last that long if you look at the reviews. I think it was so cheap as it was a runout model. It has only done about 10 washes so will review again after a year.

Broke down after 2.5 years – Worked for 2.5 years and then gave an FA error (Water level sensor circuit problem). I had a technician take a look at it who told me the whole motherboard was broken and to buy another brand as these don't last very long. (the part that doesn’t spin) causing it to no longer be able to stay on the main drive wheel. Terrible design. Got to get another washing machine now only 2 years after buying this one. Going a Bosh or Samsung for my next one The cheaper purchase price of the Haier is no reason to buy if you only get 2 years out of the product.

Poorly made & not designed to last – For your money you'll get lots of error messages - motor fault, have to drain, turn off pray it resets way too many times to count. Appears designed to last only the warranty period. Would never recommend this model or the brand Haier - save your money, time and energy (Lots of handwashing and annoyance on the lottery of will it work this time or not!!!!!) and invest in a different brand as I wish I had. Fault developed after 2.5 years – Purchased Oct 2019. No issues until this week. Drum has started filling up with water when machine is turned off so need to turn tap off straight off when cycle ends which is inconvenient. Call out fee and parts will cost $200+. Show details

Breaks as soon as out of warranty – I bought it just over two years and two months ago. It was an average machine to start with. However the rubber front seal broke as soon as it was out of warranty. I called haier and they quoted $130 just for a callout plus parts plus labour. Given the total cost of the repair will be more than half of the purchase price it is not worth repairing. Show details
Excellent front loader, sturdy, quiet but suitable for 1 adult – My first front loader. Nice machine but be aware front loader 7.5kg = 6.5 kg top loader for capacity. I think this size is suitable for 1 person, if you are a couple and are happy to wash everyday it might be ok but if if your clothes are thicker or larger go for a bigger machine. of different cycles but if doing a general wash the amount of washing = time it will take to do the load, so if you do half a load you it will take an hour. a full load of 7.5kg will take 2 hours. Drain hose is situated to the right side of the machine and is very short, only just made it to my tub on the left. I bought from appliances online and they allow you to upgrade to a bigger machine.
Noisy after 2 years use – Worked perfectly up until the 2 year mark. Now it makes a lot of noise when on spin. Still washes fine though. We have turned down the spin speed which has made it less noisy, but still irritating for an internal laundry. OK for the price. Would be good for external laundry. Show details

Love! Workings amazingly – I use my washing machine for household clothes, linen, my partner is a carpenter and also wash his work clothes.
