I don't exactly know. We have experienced this too. I think the motor spinning the clothes is strong and the weight of the machine is not heavy enough to hold it. The auto balance function should kick in, sometimes not fast enough. Hope this helps

I really have no idea. The problem is usually solved by adjusting the legs under the front of the machine however in this case it hasn't helped at all. It is most frustrating as I end up having to hang the towels out dripping wet which doesn't do wonders for my back! Sorry I can't help. Perhaps Leeaqaurius 73 has the correct anwer.
