Worked poorly from the start and completely failed after 4 years – This had several issues soon after the install. Also, the outside unit was mounted on the wall and sounded like a jet engine when it started. The app often didn't work. Eventually it failed and Haier gave us a refund. Show details
The Haier Aircon although is cheaper but will cost you money to repair – The Haier aircon warranty do not cover the unit is for upstairs or above the ground.I only discover the units are not reliable,I am worry I had 14 Haier Aircon units installed. Don't buy haier! Piece of junk – This machine never has worked well. The Mitsubishi heavy units were out of stock and the Fujitsu was considerably more expensive.. stick with the decent brands. Great unit for our joint! – We have this for a standard 3x3 room and are about to put one in the spare room. Our sparky has them in his home and our plumber does as well as in his office, all with no issues. Be aware that ANY split unit needs to be the correct size for the space you expect it to cool! As for the “Haier” brand.. They make the majority of all aircon brands components and are as good if not better than “Other” brands!

little searching to see what I can do i realise that I can ask for a replacement if it goes on for to long, or there is a valid reason. So on the phone again because you see this all happened in summer so it's hot, and I have 2 infants at my house. So I spoke to customer support who was nice and ask the boss if I could get one he said no they can wait for the shipping Container to be cleared out but in the mean time we have had weather at 40+ degrees and this week has another 2 hot days in a row. Shame on you haier for not caring about the well being of others I'm sure if it was your ac it would already be fixed. And shame on you for not replacing the unit like we all know you can!!!
Fantastic price, and cooling – I have no insulation in my colour bond roof so needed a good work horse to cool a small 3 bedroom home. I only run this on quite mode and 24 degrees. Recommend avoiding this product completely – Purchase 2 units 3 years ago (8kw & 3.5kw). To be fair both do the cooling job they are supposed to do, 8kw is great and 3.5kw is ok in this regard. story all together. I have just had the 3.5kw unit fail and the tech guy is back again tomorrow to replace the board. The 8kw unit I have had issues with from day one and this is now the sixth time in 3 years they have been out to sort, mainly to do with directional louvres due to software. Speaking with the tech team it is apparent it is an ongoing issue with little chance of a resolution. I have been told they no longer sell an 8kw unit. I would not recommend going with Haier air con and would definitely suggest spending that little bit extra as this is for me truely a get what you pay for scenario.
Works flawlessly and is quiet – This air con takes care of a large kitchen/lounge area, which is quiet a large space. Not very effective – It doesnt warm the place very well. Noisy and very bulky. Yes it is definitely more reasonable in terms of price but i wish i paid more so i could get more out of it. Show details
crap caused water damage – garbage freezes up all the time checked everything .was dripping water on inside over my tv causing it to short,very poor performance and do you think anyone wil take responsibility for my damaged goods from wateri don't think so not buying any of this crap brand again

Not working for a year and still no refund after numerous service call outs – Very disappointed, day 1 after installation the whole machine iced up and was spitting out ice after contacting Haier that was not a common thing technician came out, has continued to do it for a year, technician gets called have to wait 5 weeks before they come out. Not good, doesnt even cool one small living roon – This is air conditioner was bought for my new apartment in Perth..the builder probably choose the most economical one as the air doesnt have any wings which can go left and right...it is just waste of money...dont recommend this at all... Haier 5.3 kWh Reverse Cycle – Installed my new Haier 5.3 kwh Reverse Cycle 3 months ago & value for money is excellent, it's quiet, heats & cools effectively with easy remote control. The install was easily done using our local AC installer and with 5 years Parts and Labour warranty, well it gets 5 stars. Good to know Haier Australia can provide national support if needed. Not up to expectations – Heating is confined to one room while the remainder is cool, particularly noticeable down draught in the kitchen and nothing in the lounge where there is some condensation early morning. The circulation appears to be moving in the wrong direction. The fan is noisy and the unit vibrates on roof. Much work was done at installation 2 months ago to our then satisfaction. Terrible unit, terrible service. Nothing good about it – Terrible unit, yellows very easily, crappy glued on parts, after sales service even worse. I will never buy haeir again. Noisy, evaporator runs constantly – This air conditioner was working reasonably well for about 3 or 4 months. Then it started making a strange noise. I listened closely to it and could hear running water. I could see a part inside spinning. I looked up the parts manual and discovered it was the evaporation unit. Usefull product – great product- very effective. dust gathers on the filter and makes a big difference to air quality which u can feel. lasts for between 15 days to a month and then it has to be discarded.Works well. Sadly disappointing – I have had the Haier air conditioner for approximately 17 months and it's definitely been in full use for 2 summers. The temperature can be adjusted to as low as 16° but I'm sure any air conditioning supplier would recommend you not operate any system below at least 22 - 24° for longevity and maximum performance. extra filters to replace the old ones. The man installing them casually commented "just have a look when they're dirty, click here, open this, push that" and so on.
It is a quiet model even when the fan is on high, I haven't used the heating function because let's face it, we're in Australia...it's never cold. The unit itself looks good and has quite a slimline feature.
However, it doesn't seem to cool as much as it should. Yes we have considered the size of the room and it's definitely appropriate for the space it's in, location etc. To really feel the cold air from it one needs to be sitting directly in front of it or within extremely close proximity.
Cool Christmas – We are very happy with the purchase and installation of our new Haier split system air conditioner unit. We had it installed in November in our cabin to replace the old unit that had broken down. Christmas days was very humid and it was wonderful to be able to turn it on and make the room comfortable for preparing our Christmas feast for family who were visiting. Very reasonable price works well – Got 2 Haier T Series installed in my house 3months ago. I have been very satisfied with them so far. They have coped well with Perth's heat and I was also satisfied by their heating during the Septer month. These Haier units were the cheapest Split reverse Aircons available & they seem to work well so far.
