Haigh’s. But if you are like me and would rather go without chocolate than compromise on true quality, then you already know what to do. They may be 19th Century stubborn in not having any loyalty programs, but they are just as stubborn in their refusal to sell out.

Great support, delicious chocolate – I sent some chocolates to a friend and the gift box arrived dented. After bringing it up with support, they immediately sent out a new box.

Not what was expected – We were given a gift box of Haigh chocolates from family overseas. The box came and was delightfully wraped with dark chocolate varieties inside. The enrobing chocolate was excessively thick and the flavours of the fillings were so missing it was impossible to identify what they were by taste. The small card indicating what the varieties were was so printed darkly and small it was only possible to guage what the varieties were before eating, except the ones that had a foreign object stuck on top. For a brand that is supposed to be top quality their chocolates rated less in quality, flavour and appearance than a base Roses chocolate. What a pity.

another email would follow with tracking details. 24 hours later….no email. I emailed enquiring to the be advised that packaging would be 2-4 business days, and directed to their FAQ page. Very nice of this expensive premium company. Haighs, you know best. My order was small but told me a lot about the future of your business in what will be tough times for experts in service and product. Oh and yes, then I was asked to be refunded and I accepted only to be advised that this would take 3 to 5 business days to complete.

Spot On – From order to delivery - 2 days. Exceptional service, exceptional tasting chocolates

Expiry dates are too short, prices way too high – One month guaranteed expiry on online orders mean it's not worthwhile to order online for Christmas gifts. I don't mind paying for quality, either, but the quality isn't there. I had purchased the toasted marshmallow and it was grainy.

Quality of product – I found the milk chocolate to be better than the Cadbury milk chocolate ... it wasn't as sweet and I could taste the cocoa. The price is perhaps an issue - if the chocolate price was on par with Cadbury I would chose Haigh's, otherwise I think it overpriced.

Perfect product – This product is great! I will always recommend this product!! Planning to buy the product again in next week. Price is little bit high i felt.

Poor Taste And Poor Value For Money – Bought milk and dark frogs and a box of chocolates only to be disappointed in both the taste and quantity (value for money) we spent $90 having them sent and delivered to our home Cadbury's taste better than this so definitely WONT BE BUYING HAIGHS AGAIN

Stale chocolate – I purchased online through Haighs and won’t do it again as my chocolate was stale and when I rang to complain was met with a staunch resistance to changing the packs unless I provided pics of products and packs and their expiry dates which I promptly did! Terrible customer service – Purchased over $100 of chocolate online to be given as part of Christmas hampers for family. Usually I buy instore but due to medical issues couldn't this year. explaining the situation and requesting a refund/exchange. Long story short with emails back and forth they won't refund the chocolate as im told a use by date of one month is sufficient for online orders. Disgraceful customer service. I'm done with this company and will spend my money elsewhere. I'm not sure how a use by date of one month is acceptable?!

If/when Australia Post fail to deliver the item for no good reason (address is correct etc) Haiges will expect you to pay another $15 for delivery. Outstanding customer service and satisfaction – I've been buying Haighs chocolates for years. A superb quality chocolate. Melts as you enjoy the chocolate, taste divine. Yesterday my order arrived and 1 box had broken chocolates in it. Cara and her team speedily replaced my broken chocolates which I received in good order the following day. Overpriced! – Was given a gift card by a friend and used it on their online shop. I found the chocolates no better than Cadbury's Roses. Not much flavour, overly sweet and overpriced. Lindt chocolate tasted better.

Very poor delivery and customer service – Made 3 separate orders as online gifts for teachers. 2 of them didnt reach and the only way to know was to ask the recipient. After following up the 2 errors, only 1 was sent. Had to ask for the other to be sent to me to be fwded on. I was charged for 4 vouchers even though there were only 3 orders. are the chances for this many errors in separate orders??? Took like a week to resolve, way past the Teachers day it was meant for. Apalling that they delivered 1 item and charged 4 times the amount and I had to chase up repeatedly.
