Head & Shoulders Smooth and Silky

no never in a thousand years will i ever use this again – not the best, this just makes my dandruff worse and makes my hair frizzy and puffy, causes hair loss when i brush it, absolutely hate it.

Head and shoulders really works fantastic – I had a scalp problem, it was itchy with raised bumps, after 3 weeks of no relief using a normal shampoo and conditioner, I tried head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner, after a week and a half of using both every second day my scalp is completely better all over, I am so happy with this product that I had to give it a review. This shampoo keeps my hair healthy – I use this shampoo everyday in order to avoid dandruff and itching as well. This is a product that always is on my supermarket or pharmacy list. The good things are no added phosphates or paraffin in this product. Show details

have very long hair and H&S is definitely more about your scalp than you hair, so after I wash out the conditioner, I use a mask for the lengths. Happy days!

New formula is rubbish – I have used Head & Shoulders for 15 years, it was the only shampoo that fixed my dandruff. With this new formula it doesn't work any more . I won't be buying it anymore. Show details

Caused contact and seborrheic dermatitis all over my scalp – My doctor told me that my scalp condition was due to the pyrithione zinc in this product and that I need to cease its use immediately. The longer I continued using this product, I wound up developing erupting pustules that became infected which took over a month to clear after ceasing use. New formula is terrible – One by one each product is getting the new formula that results in the worst reaction and blocked sebaceous glands as per the doctor that I now need to treat the painful condition your new product has caused. problem and if they could suggest any treatment for the headaches and rash. They're just not interested. The only reply I received was to offer me a $10 E voucher, even though they were fully aware I'd spent more than that on the product. I won't be buying it again.

Dry, knotted and damaged – I'm 30 don't dye my hair and have always had really nice thick smooth hair. Thanks to head and shoulders it is now really dry, thin, frizzy, knots and breaks really easily. Hopefully after stopping use I can get back on track. Show details

Burning sensations on head and face – I used to use this product all the time when I was younger and it was brilliant! Recently I've started using it again and when I get out of the shower my head and face has a burning sensation. didn't had the best experience with my curly fair – This shampoo feels nice if you are looking for a product that keeps your hair fresh. If you hate the grease. On another note, if you have frizzy/curly hair, this shampoo will not help you. It will make it less manageable. Show details

Disappointed. Could've been better – Living in FNQ, the humidity gets to my hair and makes it frizzy poofy and wavy even though my hair is actually straight. This product was not good for my curls and scalp – I would not recommend for anyone with curly hair or hair in need of extra moisture. I have heard that the shampoo works for some people, but for me and my friend (we both have curls) the product made the dry scalp worse.I had to see a doctor and was told to change my shampoo. WAS GOOD NOW ONLY SLUDGE – I used the product for several years and the last 2 times I purchased have been terrible! The quality has changed it is thick and sludge like! It is hard to get any sort of lather and I will not buy from this manufacturer again. No more dandruff – I had realllyy bad dandruff! Head and shoulders cured it im so so happy. After two washes all the flakes were gone and its not icy anymore. So far I am really happy its only been two weeks I'll see how it works the coming weeks.

Even though nothing was found with the nit and lice comb, I still treated in hopes of some relief. I have stopped using it, and my head had cleared up and the itching subsided. I don't know what they did to the formula but I absolutely will not be usin gthis again.

Fabulous outcomes – I have had real problems with dry hair and itchy scalp because of psoriasis. I used this at my sons as I had forgotten my shampoo. I am now using it as a trial. AMAZING! Psoriasis has vanished and my hair looks and feels fabulous. I could not be more pleased..

burning scalp – this made my scalp burn and itch then it dried my scalp out even more and left my hair in a massive knot it made my hair very dryed i asked other peole that used it and they said they had the same . so I went back to zpll its never failed me yet

Nice smell – My hair was itching a lot and I didn’t know the cause I checked for everything then used this and it stopped amazingly and it’s smells nice too :)

Worst shampoo I have ever used – I have been using this shampoo daily for 2 weeks now, and I may as well have poured 3 bottles of white glue on my head. try pulling my hair into a pony tail, it literally doesn't move. The part stays exactly where it was, and it only moves if I brush it; but then it stays how it's brushed. It is absolutely the worst shampoo I have ever used in my 35 years! Do not buy it, you will regret it when you cant leave your house for 2 weeks because you look like a greasy hobo.

It did leave my hair soft but – I used this shampoo and it left my hair nice and clean, but since I started using it, I noticed my hair started falling out a lot. I used to have very thick dense hair and a few months after using this product, I'm left with half the thickness. Very upset with this product.

Best anti dandruff shampoo ever! – Tried every anti dandruff shampoo out there, with some actually agrivating the dandruff. This anti dandruff shampoo is head and shoulders above the competition and would recommend it to any one suffering life long dandruff and greasy hair.

Wow!!! Could not believe it – Very happy with both shampoo and conditioner! My hair has been super shiny, silky soft and less greasy. I will never buy expensive salon shampoo after using this product. Well recommend.

Hate it, wouldn't use again – As soon as I did my first load of shampoo it still felt greasy and it was the same the second time around. I admit it do sent make my hair itchy but after I use it my hair still feels greasy with no shine I'm definitely going back to elvive!

I really love it, converted for good – It really nourishes your hair whilst taking care of any itching or flaky parts. It's a nice product the smell is great and it feels like a luxurious brand, head and shoulders have upped their game, I've really noticed big differences. I'd 100% recommend to anyone who hasn't used the brand.

Really leaves your hair smooth and silky – Been using both the shampoo and conditioner for years and years. When I have occasionally used other products they have left my hair dry. hair because i'm feeling generous:

1. Shampoo is for the scalp focus it there, your ends don't need it (they will be washed all they need when you rinse).

2. Conditioner is for the ends of your hair focus it there (unless you have super dry hair then use it all over). Theres also no harm in leaving some of it in there on the ends when you leave.

3. Keep the water as cold as you can stand (Hot water strips your hair of oil).

4. Avoid styling products and heat (aka Hair dryers and Irons)

5. Try wash you hair as little as you can stand (washing can strip and damage your hair)

The best shampoo for itchy scalp – I was using Loreal shampoo but it made my scalps dry and itchy. I had to scratch it and I noticed I had dandruff issue too. So I was on a hunt to find a good anti dandruff shampoo. Thank God I found head and shoulders. I only use the shampoo and it got rid of the itchiness within the first wash. And I've been using this shampoo ever since. I love it.

Overpowering smell – Works OK but I find the artificial perfume nauseating. It stinks out the house with a single use. Why do they have to use so much? Perhaps they could make a perfume free line.
