Health Industry Training

Shane kept me engaged the whole course and I learnt a lot about different customs and traditions from different tribes around australia and the torres straits. Really enjoyed the first half of this course.

The Training was really good and well delivered. The trainer and extended staff were excellent and delivered the units well and made it very accommodating. The whole Retreat was really good and accommodating. looking forward to the 2nd retreat.

Face to face training, was excellent. Great trainer, great group of students working together. Help getting me on line and into the training portal. Only had to ask if I needed help.

A safe space for our mob to learn. Staff are friendly and helpful. Non judgemental to Aboriginal students. Very friendly environment for students to attend. Not far to travel to attended training.

Outstanding course materials and the support from the Teachers is great. Very culturally appropriate for the coursework. Would recommend them for training.

I really learnt so much from this course. It was intense but I learnt so much and got a lot out of the course. It was Adult learning so my assessments were self paced. The HIT team also followed me up to see where I was at through out my course and if I needed extra support.

Practical, insightful course enhancing leadership and management effectiveness, great group to study with.

For the certificate 3 in Pathology Collection, Health Industry Training do not provide enough practical training. They focus more on book learning.

HIT staff was very helpful and understanding, everything was in the learner's portal easy to follow instructions. I would greatly and honestly tell other's the Course that IHT provides is excellent.

Although I am enjoying the course, I find the questions are very repetitive and sometimes hard to comprehend, most of the trainers are helpful and caring but i have found others abrupt and not helpful at all, it just depends on who you get. the updated contact list offered this year was a definite improvement as you never really know who your trainer is they seem to change all the time.

The modules are easy to access and the platform is great! The trainers are easy to get in contact with and are always there to help. The information provided in the learner resources makes the course work easier to understand and contains all the necessary information.

then better understand others helps me a lot to work harmoniously and most of the time conflict free, this training has just validated all that I feel I am on the right track I also enjoyed learning about how to best go about things when conflict does arise, I feel a bit more equipped to help me address these as they arise as well as understanding things more on a strategical and operational level, including risk assessing and contingency planning which is very important too :)

straightforward and user friendly. The trainers, especially Tanya, have been so supportive and quick to respond whenever I've needed help. It's a great RTO to study with and I'd recommend this course to anyone wanting to build their skills and confidence in community services.

The course was hard to understand but once got the hang of it, was good. I have not studied for 25yrs so hence the struggle. Some of the trainers were excellent, very helpful. Course content was good needs a review as time recording was hard especially the lymphoedema. Very pleased i completed it.

I completed a Certificate Three in Pathology Collection with HIT and for the past year have been working as a phlebotomist. I was able to obtain this position thanks to the work placement that HIT offers with their course. During my certificate studies I was well supported and found the course easy to complete. HIT are helpful and the workload is not too stressful. Now I have a job I love in a secure industry. 10 out of 10, would stab again.

Great course structure, supportive staff who are always helpful through phone calls and emails, can't fault them! Glad i went with them and not other options I had looked at when looking to study something new.

I have recently completed a certificate IV in hospital or health services pharmacy support. Was a simple process, trainers were available to mark and answer any questions I had promptly, even sometimes after hours and on weekends which I found very helpful. No question was a silly question and was treated respectfully throughout the course of my study. Would highly recommend Health Industry Training.

Overall they are amazing! I love how I am always getting opportunities to speak with my trainer to ask any questions! The materials are extremely easy to understand and I have found I have learnt a lot of things!!!

Incompetent and rude. I called today to enquire about a course. Reception staff was clearly giving me the wrong information. They don't even know the basics and tells you to go somewhere else. That says it all.

I have made a formal complaint to Queensland Training Ombudsmen. HIT did not obey the student handbook and I had been intimidated when defending my consumer rights. The equivocation in their advertisement and rhetorical manipulation to intimidate and guilt trip students to obscure their mis-behaviour is shocking and unfair against consumers. I will continue my dispute and am open to receive supports from other student
