BE AWARE! my son just 18 signed up not realising if he cancelled within cooling off period he would be charged $370! They will not waive this after lots of complaint emails. It's disgusting taking money off a teen who doesn't work. Please tell ur kids to think twice before signing ! NOT HAPPY

I had a great experience with AIPT. I spoke with Tamara over the phone and she was amazing she answered all my questions and I enrolled to the certificate IV in fitness. I am exited to start my journey in the fitness industry.

I was fortunate enough to deal with Michael from AIPT, he was a great help, charismatic guy who helped me answer every question I had and walked me through the whole process so easily. I have and will continue to recommend him to any friends or family that are interested in a cert III or IV.

After enrolling had some technical issues tried to contact AIPT left a message to recieve a call back which I never recieved . Tried to call several times but are unable to get through very disappointed in the lack of support for students would not recommend studying through them . The $370 administration fee for cancellation is during the cooling off period after that time the whole course fee must be paid even if you cancel your enrolment .

I found the content to be out of date at times, which was disappointing and frustrating. While the nutrition faculty were helpful when required, the "head office" was offshore, which I find bizarre for the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers...This included the finance team, who only seemed to care about securing $$$ rather than suitable… Read more

extension prices and timeframes for individuals and effective communication became difficult. Course extension fees were ridiculous and needs to be reconsidered.

AIPT has a very easy site to navigate, and a live chat for some extra help. Be prepared to fill out a significant amount of documentation, but overall a decent experience

For your information I found another provider who was over $500 cheaper however I think your program and the ease of what you offer (not having to submit 9 videos) is a real attraction.

I was extremely satisfied with how easy it was to enrol in the course I wanted to undertake. Throughout my enrolment process Tamara was outstanding with support and answered any questions I had to the best of her ability.

My experience was a very positive one,AIPT were quick and promp getting back to me whilst also maintaining a high level of professionalism! I have had a refreshing customer service experience, extremely welcoming and friendly and they have not missed a beat. They followed up after my initial query on the course in the right amount of time and were very knowledgeable on their systems and products. response. When I contacted AIPT for help, they told me to “keep trying” and refused to assign a new mentor.

I followed up again over the next few months, even providing screenshots to prove I wasn’t receiving any communication. Still, nothing was done. It wasn’t until I raised concerns about consumer rights and Australian consumer law that they finally took action. Even then, it took them another month to assign me a new mentor.

After wasting 8 months trying to get basic support, they had the audacity to suggest I pay for a course extension. This is unacceptable treatment for paying students, and shows a complete disregard for student wellbeing, time, and legal rights.

If you’re considering studying with AIPT, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The learning platform, assignments and course materials (AIPT use Foundation Education instead of writing their own stuff) is also clunky and difficult to use as every bit of learning material opens a new tab or the preview doesn't work properly in-page; I've done further studies with AIF and CleanHealth and they both have significantly better learning platforms. This experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional — I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same.

I studied with AIPT before when completing my cert 3 in fitness. I returned to AIPT because of the discount I would receive in starting my cert 4 with them. Requiring an extension was expensive, considering the cost of the course itself ($450 for one month) I really don't like to be negative! Sometimes assessment feedback was unclear, but overall it was thorough. The student support team are friendly to communicate with via phone and live chat. I would recommend live chat over email for a faster response. A lot of the module content was quite lengthy towards the end, including the business module which I had no idea how to complete. Luckily one of my friends is an accountant and could help me out. I also found the Zoom recording module lengthy and annoying to complete, as the videos are difficult to film since I am quite time poor. I would recommend including content about working with injuries and providing exercise modifications, as there was not a lot of that mentioned in the content. I loved most of the theory work though. My experience with AIPT has been incredibly disappointing. I originally enrolled to complete my course with them but quickly ran into issues with my workplace assessor. and then marked them all as completed. This made me feel like my education and development weren’t being taken seriously.

Recently AIPT called to ask if I wanted to extend my course. I explained that I had already decided to re-enrol with another provider because of these problems. Their response? They just said they could assign me someone else. When I declined and explained I’d already moved on, the representative simply said “okay thanks for your time” and hung up. No apology, no interest in understanding my experience, and they didn’t even ask for my assessor’s name so they could look into it.

On top of this, I had to beg and send over 3 emails and even threaten to escalate it higher before AIPT finally sent me my Certificate III. Something that should’ve been a simple process turned into a stressful and frustrating battle, which sums up my whole experience with them.

For an organisation that claims to support students, the lack of care, accountability, and professionalism was shocking. I would not recommend AIPT to anyone considering study in this field there are other providers who value their students’ time, learning, and investment far more.

Great online portal. Very helpful via phone and online classes. The mentor that was assigned to me went above and beyond and I can’t compliment her/the AIPT enough.

Was sorted out nice and clear with great features like the live chat that helped me a lot. Having the interactive PDF's was also great. I did notice about 1-3 spelling or grammar mistakes within the learning material but didn't really matter. Also if the wait times for marking papers wasn't so long that could also be an improvement, you often found yourself having to re do assessments weeks later once you forgot everything you were doing and you had already started another module. Other than that it was a great experience and thankyou very much.

I have never written a review before but AIPT is a joke. They make it sound great but I can assure you it’s not. They will not teach you anything and what they will teach you is wrong out in the real world. If you are thinking of doing a course with AIPT please feel free to contact me first.

The content was engaging and aligned directly with my goals. Some components required clarification however the team responded appropriately in a good timeframe to resolve the confusion.
