Overall the content and practical experience provided in this course are great. The mentoring aspect was perfect for introducing real life scenarios and helped me feel more comfortable entering the industry. The staff at AIPT were very friendly, and always tried to help me get things done on time. They answered all my questions thoroughly and were all very knowledgable. The content and practical were definitely not too difficult and provided great foundation and background knowledge for the rest of the course.
So easy toget started and it is all set out for you to get going. Great value!
Course material is comprehensive, set out simply. Easy to move through, great for beginners or people refreshing skills. Diagrams, simple explanation and linked readings. Can tell alot of thought has been put into the course structure
I am almost at the end of it and i have to say it has been great fun doing the course especially the practical side of things. Couple of things that have been a little frustrating are the submitting of the books which for some reason i wasnt able to do but i did receive great help from Christian Wall and Sarah White. Some questions especially in the case study are not very clear and i have had some answers marked incorrectly but when requested help was assured that the answer was sufficient. Other then small hiccups like that its been a pleasure dealing with everyone and they have been very helpful.
Good quality education, affordable and with great support.
The content was good and comprehensive. It was not overly difficult, just time-consuming.
It would be better if the student had a general course overview in order to plan and schedule for it. This means, that it would be desirable to be able to uncover all the courses to have a clearer idea of the amount of work/time needed.
The enrollment process was great!
The enrollment process was nice and easy. I enquire and received the called same day. Chris answered all my questions over the phone and followed up with an email. Great costumer service, can’t wait to start my studies now.
I have completed my cert 4.
The practical side of this certificate was amazing and I learnt a lot from it!
The staff interaction was great over the phone and they seemed more than willing to help.
- I found myself extremely frustrated while doing this certificate.
- The course itself is just unstructured, some of the questions aren't even relative to the material that is given
out. In my last few case studies and assignments I would refer to google A LOT.
- Some of the questions in the case studies and assignments aren't clearly written and are very ambiguous, ...
Do your due diligence!
Unlike almost all of the other reviews on this site about AIPT, I’ll try to give a comprehensive review of my experience in doing the Cert 4 in Fitness.
The positive to start. If you manage to get through this course, you end up with a Certificate 4 in Fitness – hence you achieve your desired result.
The rest. The study portal (My Campus) is a little tired looking. The latest article published on “News and Events” is dated 8 Oct 2018 (They’re not fresh articles and little love appears to be dedicated to keep it fresh). There’s a “feedback” me...chanism available on the portal with a “suggestion box”– the suggestion box allows you to pose “a question” rather than provide “feedback” – I’m not entirely convinced AIPT are after feedback. The “My Academy Library” link sends you to a libraries page with a number of website links such as google scholar. I didn’t find any use for the library portal. Google sufficed for me. Courseware. The courseware for each Subject of learning is deficient in a number of areas. Firstly, each Subject normally consists of several Modules. A “Learner Guide” is also provided which is, presumably, supposed to cover all or most of the needed learning (along with additional “resources” provided for some subjects). What you’ll find is that each module has, essentially, a slide show repeating what’s in the Learner Guide (It’s exactly the same content repeated and hence totally unnecessary – but probably essential to keep RTO status). The links in the learner guide are generally little more than links that could be found with a google search on the matter at hand. Nothing appears propriety. The Module resource presentations would be so much better if they delved into the detail of content that was discussed in the learner guide and was more interactive (there are so many great interactive presentations out there to use a template). In summary - The module presentations are non-interactive power point presentations of content provide in the Learners guide. Subject matter. The link between the subject matter in each Subject and the assessments was found to be tenuous at times. I used google as a resource as much as the learning guide to obtain assessment answers. Indeed, in some cases, the learning guide did not seem to contain any information regarding assessment questions. Furthermore, it appeared that some questions needed reference to either previous subjects (ones already completed) or subject matter that had not yet been covered (future subjects). This, of course, proved problematic.
Just finished Certificate 3 in Group Fitness.
I think the teaching and course was great. I felt comfortable with the assessments for each unit. So glad I completed this course as fitness is a passion for me. My aspiration is to work for an F45 studio one day as this has helped me transform my life and I would love to help others do the same.
I have only just started this course, Diploma in nutrition. At this stage I'm still doing customer strategies. I do think there is to much to do with this side of the course, business strategies and customer strategies, I feel like I'm doing a business course right now. I'm looking forward to getting into the nutrition part.
Maz was very helpful in getting me started in this course. She is very friendly and was easy to talk to.
A fabulous way to learn....ease of use is fantastic!
This is a big step for me as; a) I've given up a career to do something i love and; b) I haven't had to learn to this level for a very long time.
The course content is clearly designed for ease of use and is presented in a clear and linear way. If i had any reservations about e-learning they have long since gone.... this is so much easier than i thought it would ever be!
The assistance and encouragement you need!
Very satisfied with Michael’s help and support. He’s also very encouraging and gets you excited to do the course.
Enrolling in the course and getting started has been super easy thanks to Michael. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into it!
Great service and overall customer interaction
Very straight to the point and very elaborate with explaining the course layouts and outcomes....
one thing would say is to just slow down a bit when explaining things because sometimes information could be missed by the listener... Overall great experience and help getting started with my PT career/journey!!
The reviewer stated that an incentive was offered for this review
All the information provided was very helpful from the outset.
No question or request was too small. Follow-up was great and also quick.
The course materials and resources have been easy to find, factual and enjoyable to work through.
Really enjoying the content thus far!
Questions & Answers
Has anyone successful gotten their money back from this training company?!?
Not that I have seen and I am highly doubtful anyone has! But if someone has i would love to find out how!
I was supposed to get my Certificates in February of this year, but they won't give them to me because they are questing 2 postal Screenings that DON'T EXIST nor that we were never instructed to do. I want to sue them, but can't because I've put all my money into this course. I can't even call them because they want me to pay, FOR A PHONE CALL.
