Very nice fridge, full width shelves for easy pizza storage. It does fit nicely in the fridge spot but needs room on the sides as the doors need about 75mm on each side to open. Auto defrost is a little noisy. Sounds like it has a dialup internet modem included. Freezer has door pockets which is rare from what I've seen on other brands, very handy for small packets. Will definitely buy again when the time comes. Show details

Annoying doors – My Hisense fridge doors never stay open which is annoying when you are trying to load it and it closes on you. This has resulted in damage to the crisper. I had the hinges replaced under warranty and the doors were good for a while. It's just started doing the same and Hisense aren't interested as it's now out of warranty. Very disappointing Show details

Great fridge .....no complaints – HR6CDFF512GW....I've had this fridge for a 2 years now , looks great, works great, quiet .I like the 2 freezer doors on the bottom, and the double opening doors.I love the glass look doors with my gloss white cupboards. The Digital temperature readout for the fridge and freezer is good also. Show reply

Died twice in 12 months ;c( – - Purchased Aug 2020 - Started icing up 1 month after we purchased and they replaced with new one. - 1 year later and the replacement fridge is not freezing. Tech has been out and said he recommend they replace. Waiting to hear back from hi sense. - We have now lost 2x fridge and freezer loads of food. I did not know about food re-imbursement… Read more

policy the first time but the second time when I asked they did re-imburse us.

Pros - Super awesome fridge space, it is more like a food pantry than a stuffy little box. - It looks superb very nice finish. - The convertible fridge/freezer in the bottom right corner is brilliant. We use it for drinks and make it super cold compared to top fridge which you don't want to go to cold or you'd wreck the veg. - So so Quiet. We replaced (2 days old) it with a Westinghouse WBE5304SC and man the Westinghouse is continually noise like a fish pond pump (JBHIFI can take it back) makes this fridge like an angel by comparison. - 3 year warranty compared to 2 years by other companies. - Online Chat support very quick and helpful (don't bother with phone support). - You can feel the quality in the metals and plastics and closing of the doors etc compared to some other other brands in the price range.

Cons - The freezer width is not good for wider items like pizza boxes (I did see one 4 door fridge in JBHIFI which was asymmetrical with the left side doors being narrower and thus allowing the freezer compartment to be be wider this was genius). - The top fridge doors have flap on one of the doors which you have to open the doors in the right order to make sure the flap pushes back otherwise when you close the door the flap crashes into the other door. - Phone support number takes long time to get through I gave up after 30mins. Use online chat instead.

Summary a super awesome fridge that after lots of research I am so happy to have purchased and I couldn't recommend it enough if it wasn't for the one HUGE thing, the cooling system keeps breaking. After having the Westinghouse fridge I do actually feel a little sad about losing the hisense fridge. In some sense I want to give it 5 stars because it deserves it but it fails in it's primary purpose which is an immediate fail.

Great fridge/freezer! – Great size for our growing family with boys. Runs extremely quiet, and consistent temps all round. The adjustable temperatures of all sections is great and the fact you can have the two freezer door sections at different temperatures is fantastic. I have one set at -2 and the other -18, the -2 section is great for storing/chilling drinks (and… Read more

turn icy after a few days).

The LED lights in all sections is great for looking in any part and seeing what you need, also great for middle of the night drink runs without the need to turn on the kitchen light.

The glass shelves of the fridge make it really easy to clean and the door shelves pop out fully, not leaving those little grooves that things always get stuck in in other fridges.

Having shelves in both fridge doors help free up shelf space too.

My only gripes, I would prefer more option of changing shelf position as I have had to take a shelf out a couple of times to store tall things for parties, that and the glass door version means you can't hang magnets! But you CAN write memos on the glass, which is great for shopping lists etc so it is work it.

A very pleasant surprise – We bought this fridge about a month or two ago and we are over the moon with the purchase. Initially we were looking at buying a Samsung or an LG but these were more than double the price and the reviews on the models we were interested were not quite stellar. We went to The Good Guys to buy another fridge before the end of the financial… Read more

year and while looking at it we happened to see the hisense fridge but the one with the black glass finish. We really liked this unassuming fridge with very clean and modern lines but the commander in chief did not want a black fridge for our white kitchen.

I googled the brand and saw that it also came in white glass (which was not in stock as it is either discontinued or hard to get) and in stainless steel. We enquire about these two options and were told that they had just received a couple of stainless steel ones and that they could bring one to the showroom for us. They did and we really liked it and even better we liked the price. Under a grand. Such a bargain.

It is very nicely constructed, feels sturdy and looks modern. Keeps the temperature nicely, has a digital display outside one of the top doors to adjust the fridge and freezer temperature, as well as the selectable compartment, which is located at the bottom right and can be used for different things as its temperature is independent from either the fridge or freezer.

The ice tray thing has a very silly design. It is almost impossible to refill the ice trays without spilling water in the container underneath and making a big block of ice out of the little cubes.

Its motor does not have inverter technology, but being a french door the loses are limited somehow. Internally it has LED lighting but it would be nicer if it was not so blue. Once again, first world problems.

It is extremely quiet. Once again we are really pleased and now understand why Hisense had the highest customer satisfaction rate in previous years. I think the Chinese companies are really catching up now.

Best Fridge Ever – I did a lot of research before buying the Hisense 670L French Door fridge. I based my decision on previous reviews which were predominantly positive. Purchased about 5 months ago. Exceptionally quite, maintains correct temperature, easy to clean and see items. The multi-function compartment is very handy, used as a fridge. So happy. Best fridge I have owed. Highly recommend. Show details

French door. Less than $2000. 3 star rating. Huge 250 L freezer – It got exactly all i wanted from a fridge. Specially the huge 250 L freezer is hard to get even on a larger fridge (mostly 180 L ~ 220 L) Even has door shelves in the freezer which is rare!!!

Just hope it doesn't break down – While it worked, it's a nice looking, modern fridge. But once it broke down, dealing with Hisense customer service is an experience I don't wish upon anyone. Factually incorrect, uncaring, difficult, about a month later we still haven't received a replacement. Show details

Great fridge freezer till it died 4 1/2 years on – Had been a great fridge/freezer up until it has started to die only 4 1/2 years old. Spoke to local service agent quote "Hisense we have a back room full of Hisense products, the company is terrible to deal with. Don't get back to you can't get parts. Condensing motor packs up just after warranty finishes – Started making a screeching noise, 4 months after 3 year warranty expires. Seems the condensor motor fan has packed up and very difficult to replace. Who knows how long it will last even if replaced. We loved this fridge but not any more. Looking for a replacement. Surely a $1700 item should last longer than this! Show details

A great refrigerator! – I purchased this fridge 3 years ago from AppliancesOnline. It is very spacious and convenient to use. It is extremely silent and energy efficient, and it comes with a dispenser for cool water on the door. The double freezer may be useful to set different temperature zones for different food, however in daily use i would have preferred one with larger drawers. Overall, a very good purchase! Show details

Manual defrost required every 1.5 - 2 years – The fridge was purchased in March 2019. After 2.5 year use, it stopped cooling one night. The issue is about the poor design of the fridge compartment where heaps of ice were built up over the time, stopping the fan from spinning. Update in 2024: In last 2-3 years, this fridge was in good working order. The only catch is the manual defrost… Read more

Space for everything – Like the easy way to change the tray levels to accomodate to different kind of items to be stored in the fridge. We use as a second fridge and do not use the water dispenser as other one dispenser is plumbed to house water. Thats the only bad point not plumbed water. Fridge is quiet.

A really good fridge, however I feel the door could’ve been made to open better – 1.) Yes it does. It also gives you a choice to change temperature in the vegetable compartment. 2.) the only thing I did not like was the way the door opens & closes and the noise it makes. 3.) Yes the freezer part is easy but the fridge plastic part in the door shifts and makes a noise when doing so Show details

Very Functional and Quiet to boot – This fridge is very functional, practical, attractive and so much quieter than our previous Samsung. is a very good idea. The cold water feature is an added bonus. The only negative for me is the ice cube maker. It looks good but is awkward to fill and to see the water level. By far the worst design of any product I've ever seen – By far the worst design of any product I've ever seen: the dimensions, accessibility, AND utility are all sub-par. Because the price was attractive, the Hisense was given a go. From day 1, pretty much everything about the fridge has shown to be craphouse. The shelves are set at stupid heights (i.e. Mars bar/3lt milk heights and not much… Read more

in-between), and the doors open on hinges that increase the width considerably, in turn, severely reducing alcove usability. The ice tray isn't incorporated. It takes a Chinese puzzle master to disassemble and refill it, and 0 whatsoever to replace it, because it just hangs out in the back of the freezer (or lack thereof). The water dispenser can be filled up by either a long hose or contortionist, and once it's full you'll break any glassware that you try to defeat the water-dispenser guardian-lever with. Although outside dimensions are quite deep, the inside of the fridge can't even fit a decent tray of ANZAC biscuits; there is a kind of anti-TARDIS thing going on. All other dimensions are annoyingly different from everything, ever. With all that said. The Hisense is a very pretty fridge and it does keep things very cold. Sometimes frustratingly so.

Well featured fridge but there’s a gotcha – This fridge is an attractive unit and the 4 doors are a good feature as are the seperate freezer compartments. It is performing well, albeit in a different spot than we bought it for. BUT: be careful if you have a tight area to put this fridge. The fridge requires a large amount of space either side of it. The manual states 200mm (8 inches for… Read more

the oldies). This is because unlike most other fridges this one radiates the excess heat from the SIDE panels, not the back. The fridge IS NOT suitable for installation as a built in unless you have the stated space available, otherwise you will suffer reduced performance, possible damage to the fridge and risk heat damage to your cupboards.

The fridge this was to replace only requires only 20mm side clearance.

Great value and awesome Hisense fridge – The temperature setting in on normal; keeping all drinks really cold but never burning any food; even leafy green vegetables. With our previous fridge the milk and items stored in the door tended to go off; not any more. The ice making tray works well -- with the humidity so low in the fridge the cubes rarely stick to each other.  Show details
