Excellent layout and easy to clean. The extra features including the veggie drawer with the special light to extend the life of the veggies and the hot dish freezer plate etc, etc. The reason I purchased this fridge is the technology of the second to none cooling system and all the features bundled into this fridge. Well done Mitsubishi. Show details
Love this fridge. The compartments make sense and you don't end up with dead space and it looks lovely. White leaves really no fingerprints at all. Strongly recommend.
Purchased new in 2019. An amazing refrigerator that performs excellently. However, it makes a very loud (I mean you can hear it right throughout the house) buzzing sound. I contacted Mitsubishi service originally in Oct. 2024 regarding the issue. Eventually their local service agent GV Trade in Shepparton, made it to our house to check the fridge… Read more
in December of 2024. The service tech, informed me that the problem was dust on the condenser causing the noise. What a load of BS. A follow up visit by another technician, resulted in him replacing the condenser fan motor. The motor was running fine, turning freely with no sign of shaft play or anything, but these people are "experts". A few days after leaving, it was back making the same intermittent noise. I contacted the the service agents again directly on December 27th. and they informed me that they would have their techs back on board by January 5th, so they would follow up and make a time again then. It is now February 4th..........and not a word. Absolutely atrocious service 16 months since first reported and still no change.
Considering that I paid $3200.00 back in 2019, it was not a cheap fridge

Easy to organise Ice maker without plumbing is perfect Sufficient space for all our needs each compartment keeps stable temp Looks awesome Easy doors just getting used to opening beneath instead of the sides but this is not any bother Show details
Just love my Mitusubishi fridge. Not only does it look sophisticated but every aspect has been so well developed & thought through that my fridge is well organised with a place for everything I require. The temperature is fantastic, best I’ve ever had & every drawer has a perfect & specific use. Love the non plumped ice drawer, fantastic for Queensland weather. You pay for what you get & I feel I got the best. Show details
Had this fridge 5 years now absolutely is as good as it was new is very economical which is why I bought it but also instead of losing a big part of your storage to the other style ice maker it has the smaller water bottle that you fill and slide in and it makes ice cubes into the smallest draw it works fantastic also the dehumidifier style veg… Read more
keeper WORKS keeps my fruit and veg for ages tons and tons of adjustable freezer space including the soft freeze draw which can be adjusted to hard freeze or just cold. Yes it’s expensive but it’s a very good investment especially for families that don’t want to be throwing food away. Well done Mitsubishi and yes I would absolutely buy again but don’t think Ime gonna need to.
Have always trusted Mitsubishi for their fridges and air con. Our last Mitsubishi 450L is too small for our needs, keep it and add a 700L. Absolutely love the multi drawer design, auto ice maker, super chill function and very large and deep storage capacity. It’s also very quiet. Made in Japan, this truly is the perfect fridge. Would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a fridge. Show details
The product that we bought works perfectly and it’s not noisy and it looks great. Show details

Simply the very best fridge on the market. Beautifully finished in glass, intelligent design and incredibly quiet - even the ice maker tray is padded so you don’t hear the ice dropping. The doors for ice, freezers and veggie coolers are huge and… Read more
cleverly designed with additional sliding trays. It’s much bigger inside than it looks outside and it is also deep, so can get a lot more in than it looks at first. But TBH, the whole fridge is so incredibly designed with special features that no other fridge offers. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble designing this and testing it until they got it absolutely spot on. Electronic touch controls are also easy and intuitive to use. It’s not cheap, but worth every cent, plus it’s actually made in Japan. Can’t rate highly enough!
Follow-up · Can’t comment on energy efficiency as don’t have a monitor plugged into it. It’s very quite though and it normally sits at two stars, and goes to three over night. The special features are really clever and yes, I use them. The ice maker is great and such a good design. The draw even has a pad on the bottom so when ice falls into it, it doesn’t… Read more
We bought this fridge in late July. Yes it was more expensive than the replacement value of our old fridge, but boy is it worth it. Space wise it is fantastic. Our previous 600L fridge was always crowded. Now we have lots of room. The various… Read more · 1
drawers are great with lots of room in each of the compartments. We used to run 2 fridges to take our overflow, the second fridge has now been turned off with absolutely no effect on capability. We still have lots of unused space. I suppose the real test will come over the Xmas period where our family Xmas function always tests the system ( we generally host a 20+ family function). Looking at the current situation we strongly believe this fridge will meet our needs without needing to reactivate our second fridge. Very very happy and we believe it was money well spent.
Follow-up · Ice maker works well and we now always have ice on hand all I have to do is once a week fill the water receptacle and the fridge does the rest. Freezer space is excellent the deep 2 layered draw coupled to the soft chill meat drawer more than meets our needs

-------------- 04 Mar 2026 ------- Hi! I think we just completed 4 years of using our Mitsubishi Electric 700L Multi Drawer MR-WX700C-S-A (Argent Silver), so though I'd write a fresh update to this one though it was just over a month ago that I wrote the original one. We recently changed houses - and as you know the fridge had to travel. And… Read more
before it travels you need to switch it off. I was a bit nervous seeing a behemoth that it is - and how would I move it and reach to the plug/socket at the rear. Guess what? It is easy! Grip the door edge from both sides with your fingers, and it *rolls* forwards like a suitcase! How cool!. Just ensure you have no mats or any obstruction in front of it.
We were going to empty out the tiny odds and ends from the freezer before the movers came, but guess what? If you keep things for later - they never get done! So the fridge was moved along with some food stuff in the freezer. It sat like that for 5 hours, and then 2 more - after the move. They say, it's best to rest your fridge for a couple of hours so that the liquified gas has a chance to return to the compressor after a move.
We started it after 8 hours - and everything inside was as is! How "cool" was that! The efficiency stars (did I tell you about those?) showed 1 single star for 12 hours, and then went all the way to 3 stars for economy!
The economy stars on the front are lights that show up on the door whenever you touch the panel or open any of the zillion doors! They are an indication of how much energy it is using. So if you choose to set any of these individual areas at a colder setting - yes - all zones can be controlled independently! - you get to see how the fridge is using your electricity. When it starts from room temperature or when you change these settings - you'll get to see it at work. The funny thing is that - the walls of this fridge remain at room temperature - not sure from where it dissipates the heat - might be from the rear wall. But we do love this silent behemoth in the new place!
What I wish was - it had lights that switched on in the drawers. There is a constant ambient light in the bottom vegetable drawer - I think to keep the veggies fresh, but you can't see much with that. I think the logic was since you are pulling *out* these drawers - you would already have switched on the lights in the kitchen. But with the LED technology so cheap - it wouldn't have hurt for the fridge to have them in all drawers. Only the compartment with the main 2 doors have lights.
So if you want to sneak an ice-cream at night - you've got to turn on the kitchen light and then everyone knows!
----------- Original review ---------------- We had seen this in Harvey Norman during a couple of visits but just passed on as it was quite expensive. So the previous fridge was a Hisense 520litre that was within our budget. But back in 2022 (when we replaced that with this one) we shifted houses and we had to call the technician twice for the Hisense one. This was mainly due to frost building up in the freezer, and moisture in the vegetable basket way down.
Both times the technician replaced a part in the fridge, and pumped steam from the freezer into a tiny opening - that he said gets jammed with ice, and prevented the frost from dripping as water. So we *had* to change our fridge.
The wife wanted the new one with "French" doors like they call them and had shortlisted the usual brands, LG, Samsung, Haier and so on. For the space an average 560l fridge takes up, the actual usable volume for all these brands actually reduce the usable volume! So if you say take any model from these brands, the usable space for 560 or 600l fridge will be much less. So you actually downsize. For you to get an upsizing of volume, you'd need like 900l or more - and if you don't have the space, you can't do anything about it.
Enter Mitsubishi Electric 700L Multi Drawer MR-WX700C-S-A. Though pricey, it has a usable volume of 512L for the refrigerator section and 188L for the freezer, which was more than our earlier fridge!
Further, it is so quiet you forget it is working. The bills have not been noticeably higher. We love the fact that the ice-cream stays firm - too firm if we put the freezer to its max setting! We have noticed that the vegetables stay fresh for weeks.
There was a deal going on with Appliances Online, and we got it cheaper than anywhere else and was delivered the next day. The delivery person first measured the space before unloading the fridge, and was very gentle when installing it. So loved the experience.
So to sum up: Pros: 1. More usable volume if your space is a constraint that prevents you from buying a French-door fridge 2. Ice maker - not a simple ice tray. So no need to pull and turn. Just scoop! We chill water in the lower drawer and then use that to fill the water tank. Results in faster ice. 3. Fresher veggies that last longer. 4. Plenty of space for the fridge section, large cakes, ice cream tubs and so forth.
Cons: 1. Non-metallic doors. You can't stick magnets :( 2. Needs to be wiped down as picks up finger stains. 3. All pesky guests croon over it and want to open and peer how it looks from the inside! :) 4. The ice has started smelling of garlic. I think the water picks up smell of what you store. So you need to dump everything, clean the water tank and the ice tray once in a while. 5. Stuff tends to fall inside behind the freezer - and then it won't close. You need to remove the drawers and then hunt for it. 6. Fingers do get caught between the drawers/doors. So if you have kids, beware of freak accidents.
Purchased this fridge mid March 2025 from Applicances Online. Faulty since day one. Contacted mitsubishi customer care. Fault Description: 1. This is not consistent with the quality of the 700L Mitsubishi fridge my… Read more
family owns, which is well-aligned and free of such flaws. Please refer to Photo. 2. Overheating – When placed according to the manufacturer’s specifications (with no rear clearance), the unit began to overheat, and the sides became very hot to touch. I then moved the fridge forward about 10cm to allow for some rear clearance, which resolved the overheating—but this contradicts the specification that no clearance is needed. As a result, I can no longer close the adjacent cabinet door. Please refer to Photo. 3. High-pitched and unusual noises – Even after adjusting the fridge’s placement, it continues to emit intermittent high-pitched sounds and other unusual mechanical noises. These occur at random times throughout the day and are quite disruptive. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to record the noise, as each episode only lasts a few seconds.

Best fridge I have owned. This is a well made, beautifully designed and versatile fridge, plus its narrow width means it fits in a smaller space. This is twice the capacity of our old fridge and takes up the same space in the kitchen. The drawers are brilliant, and I love the ice-maker. The versatility of being able to set different… Read more
temperatures in each area is superb (I used a good thermometer to set each area to exactly what I wanted). The space inside is nicely organised, and I am still working out how to optimise the areas. Could it be improved? Yes, I would swap the freezer drawer for the vegetable drawer, as I access the vegies more often and would prefer it not at the bottom. I would split the dairy drawer so you don't have to open both French doors to pull it out. And the dividers in the door compartments could be removable so you can fit more big bottles. Overall I am delighted with this lovely fridge, made in Japan, and very quiet when running. Well done Mitsubishi, I think this fridge represents great value for a high end product. You will need to read the manual though.

I have had the 627L version (discontinued) for about 6-7 years now and it is the most wonderful fridge. I had a very bad back and freeze a lot of my meals so I wanted a lot of freezer space. ice drawer every day, the door space is generous and the shelf drawers in the freezer and lower fridge (vegetable drawers) are wonderful and very practical. The versatile (versa) drawer can be additional freezer or fridge space or something inbetween. Meant as a meat drawer to freezer your meat without it becoming a solid block - I use it as my bread drawer. A total winner. Highly recommend.
I have this fridge for 6 years now. It’s the best fridge I’ve ever owned. I couldn’t be happier with this fridge. The ice maker drawer is incredibly convenient. it as well.
What really impressed me is how power-efficient it is. It runs quietly and uses noticeably less energy than my previous fridge. It keeps everything perfectly chilled without any fuss.
Highly recommend this fridge to anyone wanting great performance, smart features, and energy savings all in one!
It is really well though the way it has been built. I can see there was a lot of business analysis and design work that was done to make this fridge. There are meticulous detials on each compartment. Show details
We have only had this fridge a short time so far it has lived up to it's expectations having compartments is a great idea. The temp' in each compartment is working very well, all the sliding drawers are smooth and the two doors are easy to open and close.Just one slight criticism adjusting the temps was a bit confusing using the panel on the front Show details
We are very pleased with our fridge purchase and would strongly recommend it to anyone. One of the reasons we purchased it to was to get away from having a plumbed ice maker after our last fridge split a hose and cost us a new wooden floor. Show details
Excellent in every way and function! The list is longer than you’d expect. It’s only once you have the user guide in hand that you discover all the great functions. ice maker, etc. The whole family loves this fridge. Before this fridge we had a Lieberman integrated fridge and freezer which was good, however for multiple reasons, everyone in our household prefers this fridge.
Great fridge/freezer with plenty of room. Love the different zones, although it takes a lot to get your head around it all. Only negative is that I hate having to open both doors to get to the dairy and cold meat drawers every time. Maybe they should have been split like the doors to make it more user friendly!? Very happy with the new fridge. Much better than LG fridge I bought before. Drawers are smooth to open and close. Ice tray is easy to fill and easy to pick up ice below. Good front glass surface as it is easy to clean. Only thing missing is display of temperature in all compartments. Show details

This fridge is simply magnificent. It does everything you need to so many features. The freezer is great, the flexibility of the various compartments means it will suit anyone’s needs. The quick cool feature is great. We love it. If I had to find fault, the control panel could be easier to use, but get a young person. No problem. Made in Japan = quality Show details

The best Fridge we have ever owned. Very spacious, super quiet and the amount of ice that is made from only 1 tank of water is amazing. We were a little uncertain about this fridge initially because of its unusual configuration, but when the sales assistant went through all the features we were sold. It has been my most exciting appliance purchase so far. The fridge part is so versatile and all food fits so easily and I love the cheese drawer. The freezer drawer is so spacious and the versatility of the smaller subzero drawer is great. The crisper is also huge Show details
Such a great fridge. It's so spacious for the size that it feels empty half the time. The ice maker is fantastic and because it's in a separate draw the ice doesn't absorb the smells of food. Love the fridge capacity and separate compartments for vegetables, hot items, the ice maker. It all works very effectively and efficiently.
