Not made to last!!!
I bought this fridge in 2016 and purposely choose Mitsubishi because my family has been using their fridges for over 4 decades. I also chose this fridge because at that time, it was newly launched and considered top of the line. However, right after my warranty expired at 5 years (legal warranty of 2 years + bought extended warranty of 24 months), the fridge started to break apart. First off, the silicon seal tore off. Luckily it was an internal drawer seal and so I used Su-gru to stick it back. Tonight however, the plastic rail of the freezer ...drawer broke off. Why is it plastic and not metal? I had put my frozen drumsticks in and two pieces of plastic came flying off. (Pictures show my freezer drawer was only ¾ full, what the drawer rail should look like, and what it looks like after breaking off. I'm extremely disappointed that a fridge only lasts last and starts falling apart internally. I can't even replace these parts e.g., I could buy a new drawer but this is part of the fridge's main structure. My last fridge was an LG and lasted 13 years and even moved across continents!

Great fridge so far. Very quiet, effectively cold.
We bought a mitsubishi 650L fridge from E and S. It is very spacious, amazingly quiet and has easy touch screen controls. It is also a magnificent looking appliance. It is built in Thailand, but only a couple of Mitsubishi fridges are made in Japan and they are far more expensive, so hopefully the quality control is there. So far it has been brilliant.
Beautiful Big Fridge
We have had the 650l Mitsubishi for about a month now. It was very easy to set up and install. The interior is bright and it's easy to see everything, and I find it well laid out. Nothing feels flimsy. It is very quiet, you can hardly hear it.

Fridge is freezing everything
I've had the fridge for 4 days, all fridge items are frozen. Mitsubishi informed me they will send a repairman out. Not happy. I've told the shop i'd like it replaced. Will wait and give a review on the replacement fridge.
7 months now and over all its been good. Preferer the larger 710 but was too tall for our kitchen.
Had this fridge for 7 months now and over all its been good. Preferer the larger 710 but was too tall for our kitchen. temperature control is small issue, set to max to get it down to 3 - 4 deg, only a calibration problem but still should have been set at factory. limited adjustment of glass shelving means removal of shelf only option for larger items, doors shelving ok (not an issuse on the taller 710 model). was quiet when new, now a bit more noisier but still not a problem. Comparing to my old 27 year old westinghouse, unfortuantly westingh...ouse have made some poor quality fridges recently and reliabilty is my main focus, hence i am trying the mitsubishi with its 5/10 year warranty. Be aware the freezer is small. Freezeer gross vol 230l but storage vol 121l, not good for bulk buying. Does keep fruit and vegies fresh long time. glass front easy to clean. great lighting and deep draws with good runners and a power saving. I am very fussy but overall still happy with fridge compared to what was available with our size constraints

So quiet. So efficient
Bing Lee did an excellent job with sales and delivery and even installed it for me but the fridge itself ....WOW. Almost a year of ownership and I'm so pleased with it. I wasn't sure I wanted a large double door fridge but I'm a convert now. With the virus lockdown making shopping difficult I have a constant stock of food and drink to keep me healthy and happy. The food lasts longer than I expect it to because, well, I don't understand the technical side but there's a light behind the vegetable drawer which stays on all the time and keeps the v...egetables thinking they're still growing in the sun or something.....the point is it works! The food stays fresher longer. It is so quiet with it's inverter technology. My son thought it wasn't working because it never makes any noise! I was trying to think of things to say about a fridge and I realised there should be nothing to say. A fridge is vitally important. It should keep things fresh, cold, or frozen but other than that you don't want to know it's there. It shouldn't be bright, or loud or walk around the house...you shouldn't notice it.... Well, that is this fridge. It does everything a fridge should do but you never know it's there doing it. PERFECT!!

Amazing Fridge, lots of space and QUIET
Aesthetically pleasing, lots of different sized compartments, very quiet to run and the blast chiller option on the Fridge & Freezer is really handy. What I love about this product is the freezer is on the bottom so less bending down to get to what you need in the fridge. We were limited with what we could buy due to height restrictions and found this was the absolute perfect option for a shorter recess. Huge 650L capacity which you wouldn't think we need for a family of 3 (baby under 12 months) however my husband is a Chef so the space is appreciated.

Noisy internal fan .
Mitsubishi Fridge/Freezer MR-L650EN-GBK-A
Looks good, works well, however there is a constant humming/whistling noise like a car engine fan, never stops. Can even hear the humming noise in the background when the led tv volume is on level 10. Very annoying. I was told its a very quiet fridge. Informed the manufacturer, l was informed all fridge/ freezers have same level of noise

Glad we got this fridge
It's well made and the dimensions were spot on for the space we were installing it at. I really like how quiet it is - seriously, I have sometimes checked to confirm that it is still on!
100% perfect fridge
Wonderful quality, spacious and well organised. It looks amazing in crystal clear white glass, and it's so easy to move if required, I love the fact that I can pull it out to clean beneath it. It runs quietly and gets amazing comments from my guests. I totally love it.

Can't beat it for quiet running
Purchased this fridge 2 1/2 months ago as our then fridge/freezer was becoming extremely noisy when starting up. So far, very impressed by how quiet this fridge is. Can barely hear it running and because it is an inverter fridge, there are no loud start-up noises apart from the very occasional refrigerant 'gurgle". It has ample space in the fridge (my previous side-by-side fridge had very narrow shelves) and the humidity control on the crisper seems to work very well, once you have worked out how to set it. Plenty of strip lighting within the f...ridge as well so items are easy to see. There is supposedly specialty lighting in the crisper to preserve fresh produce for longer, but can't really say if actually works or just a gimmick. The fridge/freezer temperature controls are integrated into the door panel, so very unobtrusive and also very easy to use. The handles are also integrated into the doors, so no messy finger marks all over the doors - provided of course you use the handles! Because the unit has a glass front, you can even write your shopping list or notes on it! It took almost 24 hours to get the freezer to the right temperature but since then it has maintained a consistent temperature in both the fridge and freezer (used a thermometer to check for about a week). When the unit was delivered one of the seals was warped and didn't fit properly on the freezer door. The Mitsubishi rep was there within a day to deliver a new seal, so excellent service from the local dealer as well. My only minor grumble, like all modern fridges, there is lots of plastic. This unit is also extremely economical to run and we have noticed a reduction in our power usage (have an app to check daily usage). The 5 year warranty on the entire unit (not just the motor) is also a good selling point. Overall, a great fridge.

If Mitsubishi built cars like the do fridges they would be the top selling vehicle. We purchased our fridge 18 months ago and are extremely happy with the product. If you don't buy one of these fridges then good luck with what you purchase.

Surprisingly very spacious! Don't know why they call it "Mini".
We're so happy we bought this fridge/freezer. After doing much research into getting the biggest fridge that would fit into the recess of our new home, that also had a good energy rating, we went for this beauty. Most were too tall for the recess we have.
The 5 year warranty was also one of the deciding factors. The sales rep did go into a lot of detail about how good all of the working parts and components are. I was very impressed at the time (but don't ask me to repeat it, too hard to remember all that stuff). He was actually talking about a...

I'm someone who researches everything almost to the extreme before buying. Was looking for the best energy efficient fridge to fit in the space I had. This one fit well (most fridges are too tall nowadays, and I have a cupboard above), except it's quite deep, but no deeper than most newer fridges. Pretty challenging to get it in the front door because of this, but eventually got there. It's a very pretty fridge, easy to keep clean. But you can't put magnets on the front (can on the side) due to the glass doors. But, I can use it as a whiteboard...instead! I initially didn't enjoy the French doors, as previously I'd had a 700lt side by side, and had been used to that. But once you rejig how you use the space inside, put all the frequent used items on the right, and the rest on left, it's pretty good. Two things I didn't like are that I cannot adjust the heights of neither the shelves nor the tubs on the inside of the doors, and that the shelf went the whole way across the fridge, meaning that if you were able to adjust shelves, the entire width of shelf would have to alter, not just half. The other thing is that if you open the left door only, after a while it doesn't seal properly, and the fridge runs excessively. This is due to the way the doors close and seal. You have to open the right side if you want to access the left side. And you have to shut the left side before the right. Initially an issue, but you get used to it. If you don't, the seals don't sit flat and then become set in the way they sit, and so no longer seal properly. Hence putting your frequent use items on the right, so only opening one door most of the time. Not a fan of the freezer drawers initially, but now think these are awesome and it's amazing how much you can fit in them. The very best thing of all? Saving 20% on my energy usage for my entire house just by changing my fridge. Absolutely astounding! I have downloaded my usage for an equivalent amount of time the same time last year compared to this year and analysed. You do also have to get used to the fact it does not work like a normal fridge. It seems to be running a lot, but this is because it uses inverter technology. It also encourages you to organise yourself better to some extent. Would I buy it again? You bet.

I am disappointed at Mitsubishi Fridge
I did research and thought I bought a top fridge 2 years ago. However I now really regretted the decision.
1. the material Mitsubishi is using for their fridge and freezer is really sub standard as the panel/track for the drawers in the freezer broken after one and half years as well as the ice making tray
2. The ice making tray was swapped under warranty however the panel/track apparently can't fixed unless the whole fridge is changed
3. I tried to trace up the customer service again and had no answer
4. Through the process, thoug...

Best Fridge value for money
Purchased this fridge and haven't been able to fault it. We particularly wanted a fridge without a cold water or ice dispenser. this is a new release from Mitsubishi in December 2018. it has a flat glass front with recessed handles, an inverter compressor, LED lighting and very good drawers for the freezer and Vegetables. Would recommend this fridge anytime
sure fire winner, japanese quality
this is the best fridge I have ever owned. It keeps constant temperature and the controls are on the outside..never had to adjust them yet, except to see what they do. i did a lot of research, read all the Whirlpool (blog site for product reviews, like this one) site.
Every review was positive and people really happy. I was going to buy an LG but had one previously, it was very noisy. The Mitsubishi is so quiet I forget its there. I dont have any negatives, other than its big..doorways are a challenge but dont care. TOTALLY 100% in love with my fridge. And its 2 years later.
Love the look, style and convenience of this fridge/freezer.
One small complaint in opening and closing doors on occasion if both open at the same time, need to close one before the other so they fit properly and I often forget which comes first right or left but a minor design glitch.
Easy to use and clean and keeps food at easy to control temp winter or summer.
I would recommend this unit.
Query vegetable crisper
Love my Mitsubishi L4 Grande except I find my vegetables when put in crisper(i.e. carrots, celery) are limp the next day. Have had humidity on high and low and still same result. Have also placed vegetables in left hand crispers, and same result. Any suggestions would bbe appreciated. Very quiet, easy to clean..
