I want to use the Kayo app on this tv but it says ‘browser not supported’. How do I overcome this? The tv was apparently purchased in April 2018

Just purchased this TV for the 100hz to watch sport, however, I have terrible lag when watching the football. What setting should I have it on?

I just put my settings on default when I set it up and have not had any issues with lag or picture quality.

No you can't.

All these Smart TV's are the same. Apps that have not been approved by the set makers could exceed the inbuilt memory and crash the set or worse install Viruses, Trojans etc.

You need an android Tv to add apps. Sony does Android.\

Does anyone know which setting to put this to on to watch cartoons. For moderate movement the tv is really pixelated. Am also noticing it being fuzzy on the Foxtel home page and any page really that has text.

Hi, While I can't answer you question specifically, I can say the default 'out of the box ' settings seem to work the best for me. I have played around with the anti jitter and anti blur settings but they seem to make matters worse. When I wrote my review I had only been using the HDMI input from my Beyonwiz DP-P2 PVR as I have done for may years on all my previous TV's. I noticed a big improvement in picture quality when using the TV's inbuilt tuner. Having said all this I still notice the motion blur when watching Shaun The Sheep ( easily one of the funniest shows onTV, IMO ). I did not have this problem with my 5 YO, 55" Samsung. Maybe the Australian manager of Hisense, who seems to monitor this forum, could give us both the heads up. In defence of the TV, it does produce brilliant 4K pictures but seems to make a hash of anything else.

Just one other thing you might check with the Foxtel box ( and I don't know anything about them) I had to change my Beyonwiz back to an output setting of 1080i, 50Hz, PAL because the TV seemed to change this setting for some reason to 1080i, NTSC, 60Hz. This caused jittery picture and minor 'flag waving' at the top and bottom of the screen. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Peter.

Really appreciate the ideas Peter. I will try those and let you know how I go. I too had a 55" Samsung prior and found the picture quality far superior to what I currently have with the hisense (perhaps as I try your ideas this will change) fingers crossed

Change the resolution of the Foxtel box to 1080i or 1080p. This should sharpen the Foxtel menu.
