Why does my 85U7G throttle back my tv to 25Hz refresh rate on broadcast and apps signals. I have written twice to Hisense through their website but have received no answers. The low Hz rates do not appear to meet Australian standards (50Hz) for refresh rates. My other smart TV and m,y nephew's 3 smart tvs all have 50Hz as standard.
Is it going through tv tuner box built in or a Optus box similar
From an outdoor aerial through the tuner in the TV. It gives a 96% signal and 100% picture quality. I have also noticed it does similar throttling to some apps. I have another smart TV and this shows 50Hz. My Nephew has 3 smart TV's and all show 50Hz. Any help would be appreciated as I believe as it stands the tuner and therefore the TV does not meet Australian standards and expectations. It is noticeable and can be made worse by using "Smoothing"
This is my 3rd hisense tv. It’s a 65U7G Not a smart tv at all. Why can’t I put 10 play, 7 plus on there. I can’t even play 7plus with google chrome. I’m not happy with this model. The older models are easy to add an app. What can be done? Also it’s quite dark. Sue
It's because Hisense doesn't have it in there apps. Buy yourself a google chrome tv for 79 dollars this is way better then the poor attempt of smart tv that Hisense attempts with its own clunky system
I have a google chrome but it won’t play 7 plus or Apple TV
I have a Hisense65U7G as well, very disappointed with it's performance. As you say you cant' access 10 play or 7 plus as well as a lot of the free to air commercial tv channels, you also only get part the picture in Kayo. You cannot access the search bar in Kayo and there is nothing you can do about it as the screen seems stretched. I will probably never buy another Hisense TV due to the short coming of this TV. AVIDDA is the running system and is not capable of accepting Google Chrome and the TV will not let you download it or upgrade to it so that is another short coming of the TV. Google is not supported anymore and you have to upgrade to Google Chrome to get support. The APP store is lacking in APPS and has very little in it that you can download. As I said very disappointed with the product and cannot believe that a company would sell one of their products with so many shortcomings and expect people to be over joyed with the product provided, it is not what they claim it to be.

Hi All, Would love a Hisense rep to answer this one, in Australia, what TVs have VA panels, in particular the 85 inch U7G.
Can anyone provide the brighness of screen for U7G series in Australia (nits or cd/m2). HiSense Australia website does not have panel Brightness details. Rtings.com says 650 nits for US version. This is excellent brightness, but unsure if this is same for Australia version.
Does Australia model has VA panel ?
Yes, ALL Australian 75inch models use VA panels ie model number 75U7G AU . ALL US models ie 75U7G use IPS pannels.
