Hitachi’s after-sales service is abysmal. I was told I have to wait an entire week just for a technician to come and look at it. For a premium refrigerator, this level of quality and service is unacceptable. Save your money and buy a brand that actually stands behind its products.
Follow-up · After a week waiting, a technician came and replace the PCB. It just took him 5 min. The PCB was less than 1 month new and just die without any reason. Still surprised if happened to a $3000 Japanese fridge.

came broken on the bottom of one of the doors and they had someone out with a new door within a couple of days and i live in a rural area so this is lightning fast!! The process was sooo easy and they were so pleasant and helpful. Another plus for us is unlike other companies they'll have a local technician repair if you need warranty unlike other brands that use tech1 where your waiting 6 months - a year for a resolution. Honestly I can't reccommend Hitachi enough they've been amazing and our fridge is amazing and id never hesitate to buy another.
Love this Fridge. We are very glad we made decision to purchase. There seems to be so much room in the fridge, easy to find items. Therefore items are not forgotten. hold so much product and is easy to find items. Don’t hesitate purchasing. I was concerned that the modern mirror finish would look wrong in my country style kitchen. However it works as it only reflects the country style in the mirror.

drawer - I cannot explain the amount of dips, cheese, cake, fruit etc I have had to chuck because it went all hard or gross from the air circulation in the fridge. I can put an opened cheese dip in Vaccuum seal without wrapping and finish it later that week and its like I only just opened it. But fair warning unless you want it to taste like strawberries don't put a dip and strawberries in the seal at the same time mistakes were make, it wasn't the worst flavour it was just .. different. -ice maker that doesn't need to be plumbed in.
Good Product with 10 yrs warranty – Bought this fridge for our new home. I had this in mind for some months and did proper research before i bought it. Really like the auto door feature. Special other features are the vacuum compartment and the configurable chamber for freezer/freeze. Bought this on july 2021 from Harvey norman with a very good bargain of $3000. Loving this fridge.
