My a/c Haier remote wasn’t working, called the manufacturer number and was answered by Eddie at Hi Tech hot water. The service was amazing he promptly sourced another remote and sent it out to me immediately. Followed up with a call to see if it was working. Service was first rate and I highly recommended them.

The whole process, from initial over the phone quote by Ray and the installation arrangements by Nikki and finally the installers on the day, was absolutely flawless, very happy with the entire process and especially with the aquatech X8 heat pump, there is negative feedback out there about extra charges on installation day, I certainly did not experiance that. The guys did a great job installing two new systems for us (big house hosting up to 16 people at a time) 2 new heat pump systems providing 630 l of water. There was a small increase ($190) from originally quoted amount, because they had to run all new wires and install 2 new fuses in the fuse box. Very happy with the install and communications from the guys, they had it installed faster then they originally advised it would happen. Show reply

installation details just with photos, emails and some calls will lead to a genuine quote, I gave it a go and got a quote. A few months later, once I was ready for the installation, I reached out to Ray again to confirm the quote. As HiTech Hot Water’s quote offer was competitive, I decided to go ahead with them, and I wasn’t disappointed. For the installation process, Liam took over, guided me through the process and on the day of installation checked in with me whether all was going according to plan. Both, Ray and Liam were very attentive and made the process very easy, thanks. Selling is one thing, but installation another and I want to acknowledge the installers, Peter for the plumbing and Julian for the electrical part of the installation. Both did a great job and did a very neat installation, excellent workmanship. Let me thank and acknowledge both Ray and Liam for the selling and organisation part of the job, as well as Peter and Julian for a tremendous installation job. We live in Forbes in Central West NSW, and Hi-Tech Hot Water travelled all the way to us with no additional travel fees, which was fantastic and made the whole process even better.
The installation team arrived exactly when they said they would, completed the installation professionally, and left everything spotless. They removed our old 19-year-old hot water system and also took away all of the packaging and rubbish from the new unit, so there was nothing left for us to clean up.
The whole process was easy from start to finish, and we're thrilled with the end result. Our new heat pump is now heating our hot water during the day using our solar system instead of paying to heat water overnight. It's exactly what we wanted, and we're already looking forward to the savings.
We highly recommend Hi-Tech Hot Water to anyone considering a heat pump hot water system. Their communication, customer service and workmanship were outstanding from start to finish.

The heater is fine and works well, the installation was poor and they were not interested in fixing it. Plumbing and travel time because my old plumbing was not up to standard. Also they were short on time because they had another job to drive to 3-4hrs away. I told them to "just do it" so they did and you can see the results in the photo. I spoke to HiTech several times about this but they were just not interested. My plumbing was clearly visible to them in the photos they had and they should have been prepared and quoted the job properly when they got to site to do the installation. I have given a bad review so that others will not suffer the same result. I had to pay a plumber to come and fix their mess up. First photo is the old plumbing and second photo is HiTech plumbing. I warned them I would put in a negative review and they did not seem to care or get back to me.

The installation team arrived as scheduled and completed a neat, professional installation. The workmanship was of a high standard, and the finished setup looks excellent.
Since installation, the system has been performing very well. It quickly heated the 300L tank to 70°C and has maintained temperature comfortably, even after multiple showers. The Wi-Fi app was easy to connect and provides useful monitoring and control of the system.
What stood out most was the customer service. Even when problems arose, the HiTech team remained helpful, responsive and committed to finding a solution. That gave me confidence that they stand behind their products and installations.
Overall, I am very happy with the final outcome and would have no hesitation recommending HiTech Hot Water to anyone considering a heat pump hot water upgrade.

Follow-up · The Aquatech heat pump is performing well. Being Wifi-enabled allows program adjustments when you have visitors is a big plus. My calculation indicates that I will save approx. $1,000 per year relative to the old electric cylinder. I should have installed it earlier.

experience was as expected other than some additional costs for a pressure regulating valve (which I already have at the meter but was told by the plumber I needed one at the heater for warranty purposes) An extra $110 for a non return valve I didn't expect to be charged for The gas outlet from the old hot water system was turned off but not capped which is a somewhat risky situation as it's near the ground and can easily be turned on, releasing gas and the risk of flame

They raised a defect for the gas main not being capped and the overflow pipe being unsecured. Sales staff and installers were efficient and pleasant, but the original quote was $800 less than what we had to pay at installation. The underquoting was due to unexpected costs - but would have been easily addressed if the sales staff asked for more information at the time of quoting.

Happy with the sales staff. They provided useful information when requested. Instalation people were polite. I was disapointed when they told me that my water tank concrete slab was too low and I needed to pay for another slab to sit on top of the existing slab before they could instal the tank. The previous 2 tanks that had sat on the origiinal… Read more
slab were no problem. My concern increased when the instalation guys told me the price of the aditional slab, which they had in their truck. I checked with Bunnings who had suitable slabs for a reasonable price. I had recieved quotes from two other plumbers who had inspected the site but had not raised any concern about the slab. I was not happy with this. I resolved the problem by giving the installer some concrete pavers I happened to have.

The units were installed to my specifications and am very satisfied with the communication, quality of the craftsmanship and the price. Another company with a similar product was 12% more expensive. iSolar was also very helpful to create a plant for me so that I can manage both systems from the app.
The communication with the team at HiTech was fantastic and the installation team and technicians were thorough and cleaned up afterwards.
