DODGY COMPANY. Ordered 2 $400.00 battery chargers and they sent me 2 cheaper ones direct from China and never refunded me the difference. AND they sent units with EU Plugs! I complained to PayPal and they have to give me a refund. They could have contacted me to ask me if I wanted the cheaper ones WITH refund. They should have sent with Australian plugs. Very bad customer service. I wouldn't deal with them. No Australian phone number. VERY DODGY.

Orders have always been well packaged and on time. Prices and support have been great, quick response and very helpful.

plane was still at the store and I rang asking to cancel the purchase. After pay had no problem with assisting in this and fully refunded my first payment of $200 and cancelled the payment agreement. However of the first payment made to Hobby Tech, the owner of the store deducted $120 as a penalty against me. I would understand if the item had left their store and been opened and the return inconvenienced their order system. But the product never left their shelves and was never out of the store and as it was the last one in stock the store had no difficulty in reselling the plane to waiting customers. I could understand a small accounting fee to be applied against me, but $120 for no effort on the stores part in view of my valid reason for sale cancelation, I believe was greedy and excessive. Bluntly I think it was an opportunity to take advantage of someone else's misfortune. I will never buy from this store again and not recommend them or their store ethics.

No warranty – Bought carbon cub ss 2.1. Didn’t open box for about a year due to other aircraft projects, when I did finally powered up the cub the receiver was shot , would not power up, Hobbytech did not care trying to make me buy a new receiver at full price without even a discount, went to ace models and they got my receiver fixed and have been going there ever since. Show details

Returns policy – The staff are very helpful and friendly, but I needed to return 2 items which were bought for my grandkids. Turns out they already had similar items. Returned the products still wrapped and with prices still on. I was charged a 15percent surcharge for ‘restocking’. I didn’t think that was allowed? Great products, great prices, great service – Although on the other side of Australia I continue to use Hobbytech online because I almost always find that they have the product I want or need. Prices are good as is postage and delivery is excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

As with all online shopping it pays to look around, but they are generally competitive on the items I purchase or cheaper. If they are not I buy elsewhere.

Received my item well packed and in good time – Ordered a Corgi diecast aircraft and Micro set for decals. Postage was free. Parcel arrived very well packed and quite quickly from WA to QLD.

here on out, if you're going to set those terms and conditions, you MUST communicate that to the customer on the phone as well. Employee made me feel uncomfortable by snapping at me for that. Please reform this for future customers.

All my airbrush needs – Have bought many painting supplies from this store online. Can not fault their service at all. The only Australian supplier of Harder and Steenbeck airbrush parts. Great range of accessories. Fair postage charges, considering I'm a state away and it comes with in a week, that is a big win for me. All in all a great place to browse for ideas. Never had a problem with them! – They do not stock everything I need but come pretty damn close, but hey look at the range they carry! And if you ask they will advise and try and get it...........what else can they do!

Hobby Tech service stinks – They don't deserve stars! Customer service is appalling. Advertising is misleading and they refuse to address complaints if you persist when they are clearly in the wrong. use another seller. Australian consumer laws mean nothing to Hobby Tech so be warned. My complaint has been added to a long list about this supplier with the ACCC.

This place is absolutely rubbish and treat customer like rubbish – This hobby shop sucks, they are terribly stocked in rc tires and bodies and carry a very limited range of parts in all rc cars not branded traxxas and have possibly the worst service and attitude ever. The only reason that I go there is due to the fact it is the closest to me.

Received different battery from what was listed online! – I ordered a Nikko Vaporizr Water/land rc cars from their online shop.
