No warranty – Bought carbon cub ss 2.1. Didn’t open box for about a year due to other aircraft projects, when I did finally powered up the cub the receiver was shot , would not power up, Hobbytech did not care trying to make me buy a new receiver at full price without even a discount, went to ace models and they got my receiver fixed and have been going there ever since.

Returns policy – The staff are very helpful and friendly, but I needed to return 2 items which were bought for my grandkids. Turns out they already had similar items. Returned the products still wrapped and with prices still on. I was charged a 15percent surcharge for ‘restocking’. I didn’t think that was allowed? In all fairness their returns policy was displayed on the till. Very disappointed tho.

Great Service – Been to HobbyTech a few times now and have always received great advice and assistance from staff. Great suggestions in relation to WW2 camo colours. If the person you ask doesn't know an answer they will get the person who specialises in what you have asked about. I drive past a number of Hobby Stores to visit due to this great service.

Favourite HS – I drive PAST four of Perth's best known hobby stores to shop here and have done since I found them 5 years ago. From the Swan area to Myaree. The only dramas I've had there were actually my own doing. I had researched so many batteries that I confused HTT with another store but was adament at the time they had made the error. Despite that they handled this silly old bloke well. What more can you say. Good job guys. Oh. Only 4 stars because I am yet to come across anything 5 star and from a purely objective standpoint, nothings perfect!
