Would have to say the worst service, food and atmosphere. Cannon park Townsville went with family and how vowed will never go back. The waitress assigned to our group only took 1/2 the guests entree orders. Main meals were below par, with oil dripping from finger combo and curly fries, barramundi tasted foul, prime rib was unchewable, this as just the starters. Took over two hours for meals to come out.

Disappointing – Have not been to hogs breath in years decided to go to morayfield one tonight with daughter and granddaughter we waited over an hour for our food meals were cold and dried out very disappointing an it was extremely expensive

chips not crisp and not so hot, chicken was over fried and dry. I was not impressed at all. I have rated 1 star, as it would not let me submit without a rating, I would not have given Hogs Breath any stars!

Not very nice – Bread roll dry didn't seem fresh meat in burger dry, tough, chips soggy. Table very sticky.

Granted the veges did have a seafood flavour, but this didn't save the dish. Highly disappointed. On leaving I noted a picture on the wall at the checkout of a beautiful creamy seafood chowder overflowing from a cob bun. I told the Staff member your Seafood chowder is nothing like your picture on the wall and what I had was NOT Seafood chowder. Staff member agreed and stated it was a recipe from Corporate and the matter had been previously brought up to them. If this is the case, perhaps taking it off the menu would be advisable. For $18.90, Don't order unless you like veges. Photo attached.

Terrible quality for home delivery – Worst experience ever. After 20+ years loyal customers we thought we would try pickup. of lettuce and two slices of tomatoe - hardly much value for the $50 it cost us. Macdonalds would have been far better quality and value - so disappointed in hoggs breath you really dropped the ball on that which has made you famous.

just as I remember them & although pricy without the loyalty discount, we couldn’t complain about the service or quality. I’ll certainly be back when the 25% frequent diner/loyalty card discounts are available again.

Very tasty – If your looking for a reasonably priced restaurant with very tasty slow cooked steak etc, then this is the place to go. My family absolutely loves going here for a great feed. The customer service is friendly and they actually care about your needs. Good going people.

Dissapointing – How the mighty have fallen. Once the best steak you could get anywhere and now a very ordinary offering. No atmosphere, almost empty, i can understand that and generaly a very ordinary experience. Cant say it was bad just very disappointing to what we have had in the past. Would i return, not a chance

Disappointed – Very disappointed at Mt Gravatt store. Hogs mushrooms were burnt & crunchy. Also the main meal came out at the same time! Staff never came to the table to ask if we wanted any more drinks or any desserts. We were a table of 8, & they missed out on extra money for not asking. We just paid & left. Never to return!

this is terrible we can live without it – we ordered a steak sandwich as was listed on menu but got a steak burger,apparently they do not know what a sandwich is. The steak was so tough we could not eat it ,the bun was soaked with barbeque sauce so got soggy as soon as we tried to eat it. told them about it but did not even bet a response or an apology,How disgusting is that and it cost more than $22.00 Will not go there again

good. But for the same steep price, which really is not ok ( It's 30 to 40 bucks nowadays for 200 grams of meat). After some haggling they agreed to give a miserly 10 % discount. And then when the steak arrived it was absolutely terrible. Tough as leather, chunks of fat on the edges, truly awful. Honestly, your average pub does a better steak and even a steak sandwich at the local racetrack is better than this rubbish.

Anyway, we chewed away the best we could and made a further complaint when we went to pay. We were then given a Gold member discount of 25 % . Nice gesture, but really, we should not have had to pay for the food at all. Anyway, we didn't want to give the staff a hard time and left it at that, but we won't be back. You can't charge premium rates and then serve sub-standard rubbish. The food is not cheap, but always happy to pay for quality, but it seems greed has taken over. You now have to pay an additional 3 bucks for a few spoonfulls of sauce and a beer is 12 dollars! Sorry, Hog's Breath, but you have lost me. I am not the fussy type and hate to complain, but this was truly awful.

the steak itself looked ridiculously different to the other ribs ordered. 4 out of 4 diners at the table ended up spending the whole night on the toilet and considering we were in Tasmania for a competitive weekend of racing, food poisoning and dehydration from the runs and vomits made for a very bad experience. which took almost an hour to arrive. The food was presentable and cute. Verdict on food? The bun felt and tasted like it was just one of those cheap Coles hamburger buns. It could have been slightly warmed through. So three down points - sticky floor everywhere points to a lack of cleanliness, cheap bun is not a good look or taste. It cost us approximately $25 each. argue with me. Then he slammed the phone in my ear. I called again. A girl picked ip. Said the order has left but she does not know when and there was no way to co tact the driver. When the food eventually arrived, there was one meal missing, the most expensive one, and the rest was cold, dry and inedible. I opted NOT to call the restaurant for a refund because the staff was so rude. This is a sorry excuse for a restaurant. Give it a wide berth.

Very dissatisfied – Ordered take away crumbed mushrooms and avocado salad, mushrooms were old and over cooked and no flavour, there were no potatoes in it, soggy and brown avocado, and bottom of the barrel salad and half of one cherry tomato, very disappointing and over priced for what we received

Disappointing – I don't normally do this but my wife and I ordered medium rare 300g steaks with a side of mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. I'd never been to Hogs Breath before and had heard good things. The potato was cold. The Mac and cheese was tasteless and the cheese sprinkled over the top was not even melted. My steak was nice enough but my wife's grisly and tough. Not a good first impression at all. Disappointing.

was spicy (which we did not want) and it was like eating a bowl of sauce. Who wants to eat sauce? Sauce goes ON something, you don't just bury some beans and cabbage into sauce. Has the chef actually tasted what they create and serve? We told them it was not acceptable and to take it back. We did not expect to pay for it. However, we were only given 50% off when we returned it. Now that's really a way to bring back this party of 8 people isn't it? I've been to other restaurants where something like this happens and they refund the charge and offer something else. Those are the places I feel indebted to and go back again and again. Not Hog's Breath. I'll save my breath...and my money. They offered us a free dessert instead. I refused as I wanted a healthy salad not a life shortening dessert! Finally, the kids cheeseburger was a real disappointment. Not only not worth the $12/$13 but only a bun, a piece of cheese, and a dry piece of meat. Save your money and get a McDonald's cheeseburger for a fraction of the price as it comes with mustard, tomato sauce, and pickles and tastes much better. All Hogs Breath will get off me is that single visit for a lifetime.

undercooked that you could not get a fork into them let alone eat them. We were given our meals but no cutlery it took well over 15 minutes to get cutlery, one guy we asked walked off and never bothered to bring any back so we had to end up asking a second staff member and he took a good 15 minutes after being asked. The meals arrived stone cold when they were served to us so they took them away to heat them up brought them back vegies were still stone cold and still under cooked only now our steaks that were supposed to be medium were burnt to a Krisp and actually had charcoal on them so that was the first meal there.

A week later a friend and l dined there we both had the shoulder of roast lamb and again the vegies were raw and totally inedible so we just ate the lamb however both of us the next day had severe food poisoning, mine was so bad it was the most serious food poisoning I've ever had in my life and I'm 67, there was no way that we could have gotten our food poisoning from anywhere else other than the roast lamb that we both ate at Hogs Breath in Garden City as we do not live in the same household and the meal there was the only meal that we had consumed together for over a week.

I called and spoke to the manager a few days later and was told that someone would get back to me regarding these meals but no one ever did although I'd made up my mind that if we were offered a free meal in Lou of what had happened we would not be dining there again free or not.

I could in all honesty NOT recommend this restaurant and in future my family , friends and l will NEVER dine there again. The ONLY reason I have left a 1star rating is because it would not allow me to leave a minus 5 star rating !!!

Apparently it’s a lunch special and they don’t like changing it. I then proceeded to pay for the meal and was overcharged for extra gravy. She then argued in front of customers about that. I finally received a refund. We will never go back.

forward 10 minutes when the 3rd table next to us, who ordered approx 20 minutes ago, received their meal, we asked again to be told that it would be here shortly.

Overall, a 1 hour 45 minute wait for food, incorrect orders then delivered up the table (we were too hungry to return them but under normal circumstances we would have), sub standard food (including frozen corn and grissly meat) and a long strand of hair across my curly fries (which I therefore did not eat) made a night out very unenjoyable Will not be bothering with Hogs anywhere, and will never return to HB Coffs.

but the experience was let down by the food. A very ordinary pub meal at five star restaurant prices. The portions were small for the exorbitant prices. I've had better food, for a little over half the price, at the Breakfast Creek pub. Hog's Breath, you won't be getting a third chance.
