Yesterday went to Capital Honda Philips Woden for 60k service of Civic Honda car. Mr Matthew attended to me. In the evening when I went to pick up the car I found that the Inside has Not been vacuumed properly. In fact it appeared No Vacuuming was done ! I feel the car should be recalled for Inside Cleaning.
Misleading sales tactics and warranty misinformation at Honda North in Osborne Park. I recently attempted to purchase a vehicle from Honda North, but I encountered what I believe to be deceptive sales tactics. During negotiations, the sales staff explicitly claimed that purchasing an identical vehicle from a competitor and fitting an… Read more
ADR-compliant aftermarket tow-bar would "void the manufacturer's warranty," specifically warning me about the EV battery. Trying to scare me off buying a better-priced vehicle of the same specs from another Car Dealer.
Under Section 18 of the Australian Consumer Law, I'm pretty sure businesses are prohibited from making such misleading claims to pressure customers.
I escalated this to management (Mr. McKinlay and Mr. Abdul) to seek a professional resolution and factual documentation regarding the car's health, but my correspondence was ignored.
I have since taken my business elsewhere and lodged a formal report with Consumer Protection WA regarding this conduct. I strongly advise other buyers—especially those new to EVs—to do their own research on warranty rights and don't trust this sales team.

Prestige Honda & Honda Australia - not recommended. I originally purchased a brand new MY23 Civic Type R from Prestige Honda. The car incurred cosmetic damage during PDI / recall work - scratches on the screen, door cards, centre console, oil stains on red carpet - which was very carelessly performed and we were forced to reject delivery of the… Read more
vehicle. Despite this, Ryan, the sales manager claims they have ‘never had an issue’.
Not wanting to take the risk with another new car subject to a recall, we instead entered a new vehicle purchase contract for a MY25 model of the same car and was placed on a waitlist, during which Prestige has held on to my deposit for over 9 months. Honda Australia decided to effectively raffle their stock allocation through an ‘EOI’ instead of honoring existing contracts and the dealer failed to secure a car. Salesperson failed to communicate and facilitate this ‘EOI’ process properly.
Vehicle contracts have no meaning to Honda and their dealers. Dealer points fingers at Honda for not supplying enough cars, Honda blames dealer for taking pre-orders. Seems to be a common trend based on other reviews here. Better off buying another brand instead.

Prestige Honda Perth – Went down to Perth prestige Honda for replacement of seat belt under warranty. about the deep scratch on my door step. Kept insisting they have nothing to do with it. Asked them that it’s so obvious why didn’t they notice it. They told me they didn’t see. Seriously a good car just let them damage. Not the first time, previously was the paint protection. Honda is a good car but their dealer and service is really damn bad. Not going to trust them anymore. Bad luck of buying a new car from such dealers! Stay away!
Purchasing a second hand Hyundai Tuscon Highlander – I would like to extend our greatest sincere gratitude and thanks to Karl for actually going way above and over when it came to buying our car which was a very decent second hand Hyundai Tuscon Highlander diesel with very low kilometers to my surprise!!! was deemed a write off. So, off I went via the wonderful internet highway and started many searches to replace our car once the insurance had settled and came across many car dealerships with these Hyundai Tuscon's and also had spoken to many on the phone in which weren't all that accommodating my questions which made it that little harder to which I've just been through! But I came across this little beautie on carsales (Torque Honda) and had rang through and had spoken to karl as he was very welcoming and had stated all facts. I turned up to see this car in question along with karl explaining all details that he knew of & was also very honest when it came to any questions he wasn't aware of as well, and that was refreshing to see and hear!! Karl also had highlighted that the actuator locking system on the car wasn't working correctly & was due to be replaced under warranty with Hyundai Australia, as they had just identified the problem with these models as our old one had it just replaced under warranty before loosing her in the accident.. After our little test drive just around the block, I decided to take it and with all relevant paper work etc etc was done & then transfer monies in due course. Prior to picking-up our Tuscon, Karl once again went out his way to bring us up to date with the actuator situation as Hyundai Australia was due to take it in the next two to three weeks as he'll give us free replacement car whilst this was being done..now that's awesome service/customer service from a car dealership for starters as it's hard enough just to get one whilst your getting your car serviced especially at a Hyundai dealer from past experience. Unfortunately after picking up the Tuscon and going through final paperwork etc was time to drive off into the sunset so to speak, But!! there was just a couple of niggly things that were not a major issue and had brought these to Karl's attention. Once again, Karl had said straight-up to bring it straight back in at my convenience. Once we had organized a time and turned back up at Torque Honda, Karl was yet again all over it with a great attitude, accommodating yet again and couldn't apologize enough, though he had gone through with a quick list of things in question (Nothing major) and had turned around to give myself pretty much a new car to borrow for as long as we needed it till our Tuscon came back from Hyundai Australia and for the other niggly little things that had to be rectified.. In saying all of this, I would like to Thank Karl for his outstanding care, service, empathy along with his full understanding as I haven't received such great service like this for a very long time, even after buying at least five new cars throughout my lifetime with just above average service to get me across the line I dare say! I'll admit that I wasn't a Honda fan, but since coming across this particular establishment and Karl's service it has raised my eyebrows and maybe look at a new Honda down the track when we decide to make that plunge once again... Keep up the good work Karl, as we do look forward to our Tuscon coming back & we''ll be bringing her back for the regular services in future.

Formula Honda Modbury (SA) & Honda Australia My recent experience with Formula Honda Modbury (SA) has been extremely disappointing and concerning from a customer-safety point of view. to identify the issue and offered no real solution. When I requested support from Honda Australia, I was informed that Formula Honda is an independent dealership and that Honda Australia has no control over how the dealership operates or how they treat their customers.
This is alarming. A dealership operating under the Honda brand should be held to clear standards, especially when the issue involves safety risks and potential hazards. Instead, both the dealership and Honda Australia have shifted responsibility, leaving customers without proper support, accurate diagnosis, or accountability.
Customers expect transparency, professionalism, and genuine care—none of which I experienced. I hope Honda Australia seriously reviews its relationship with such dealerships and ensures that customer safety is never compromised.

Used Honda's online booking system to book service for my Honda Civic. No one called me inside of 24 hours so I called them instead and booked the car in over the phone. February 2023, which ever comes first). The vehicle has only done 2,700 kilometers since new. I was quoted approximately $670 dollars for the service based on these details. On the morning of service I received a Service booking reminder from Honda Service Centre with a vehicle registration number that didn't match with my car. Arrived at the Servicing Centre and advised that I received a text for the service with a vehicle registration that didn't match with my car. They couldn't find the my vehicle registration. They asked me to give them the incorrect registration number contained in the text they had sent me that morning. They found my booking and the consultant said "this for your vehicle (model didn't match with my vehicle) and is for 40k service?". I said no its for my Civic and the sticker on windscreen says 11k service. Got a call from Service Centre later that morning and they advised that it is a 20k service required and would well over $800. I asked about whether a software upgrade was required also. They said they would include this requirement as part of the service. Received a call form the Service Centre and they advised the car was ready for pick up. I asked the consultant about whether the car needed a software upgrade. He said he wasn't sure and that he would need to check with the mechanic and he would call me back in a moment. I waited 10 minutes and no call back. I rang him and he advised they had omitted to to do the software upgrade. Had the correct servicing costs been provided over the phone at the time I made the booking I may have chosen to have the car serviced elsewhere. Not happy with this cost outcome; not happy with the fact the software upgrade was overlooked especially after I asked about it and was given assurances it would be checked as part of the service. Arrived at the Service Centre to collect the car and the consultant must have gotten approval to charge me based on the original quote. I was please about that but still there was no real apology and no sentiment expressed about the inconvenience it may have caused me and no offer of a reduction in the service cost.
Terrible customer service. Not willing to understand, help or acknowledge and issues. So quickly to blame something else and absolve all responsibility. Would not recommend dealing with GWS service centre in Springvale. You leave messages on their phone, send emails and nothing is dealt with until you chase it up yourself. Show details

You were over on your Service; what a disgraceful, filthy organisation. Am I being too kind? What words may I use in this review? My disappointment? Could people please read this and not buy a Honda? Bye an 80-year-old lemon, an old piece of garbage from a dump. You may have a better car than Honda. With Toyota's honesty and integrity, my car's paintwork broke down after about seven years. They conceded liability and repainted the car at their cost. Why would you not buy a Toyota?

Poor customer Service – We have a 2021 HR-V Honda. We make sure it is serviced regularly. I rejected the offer and I advise the salesperson to refund my deposit He advised me to send him an email which I reluctantly did on the 15th of July 2023. I was told that I breeched my contract of 3 days cooling off period and I will not be getting my refund. Not only did I just loose my car in June, Western Highway took away my last servings of $1000. bypass Honda. Every service there is something wrong. Last service was a minor one quoted $230 ended up $1580 and with a warning of what will have to be done next service. Korean brands are walking all over them with features and price. Took it to trade in and not only shocked at the depreciation but shocked also that the salesman was so critical of them and said they just can't sell them, and it was a Honda dealership (i was looking at a used Mazda) 5 year update and it goes from bad to worse. Noisy and clunky and every service something is broken or leaking. Air con is rubbish, and we had a forced $600 service done to it 2 services ago with a re-gas. Tried to sell it but no takers and trade-in is deplorable. Get a Mazda if you want an exciting and reliable car , not a Honda.

and I mentioned I want to trade in my KIA Stonic and Carsales 'Instant Offer' quoted $19700. Long story short I said if they accept my price of $20000 then they have my business NOW. 10 minutes later we signed the contract. We saw the Crystal Black out the front and decided to buy that colour. It will arrive in April. I found Holly is very soft spoken, very knowledgable (before I visited dealerships I spent weeks researching the ZRV) and torn between New Hyundai Kona with its nice interior etc but it has a 6 months waiting list and I m concern about its quality (my 2017 Tucson I bought new was leaking piston oil only into its 2nd year and only 24000Kms. And now at 68000Kms the oil leaking). And I had 4 Hondas since and my 1st was a CRV in 1998 and happy about its quality. ZRV Have soft interior and not all hard plastic.
Did test drive AFTER I signed the contract as I am confident it's a Honda and wow 135Kw of power. I am glad we picked the Crystal Black (never own a black car before as its a high maintenance) but happy with the choice as its looks bigger than its white ZRV I saw.
BTW I also traded in my KIA and Western Honda allowed me to use it until the next week as well and I also given the opportunity if I can sell it (its advertised at Carsales.com) for more than just give them the cash of trade in value. Its I like about Honda as few years ago a Honda Dealership in Perth gave me same opportunity.
Thank you Holly (Moore) and thanks for the coffee and the test drive. Also Western Honda even gave me until next Saturday to hand over my Kia and since I advertised at Carsales yesterday if I can get slightly more, than I just hand them the cash.
Honda's 5 year warranty has no value – 2023 Dealings with Honda Australia Part 1 The Honda 5 Year Warranty has no value, as was explained to Honda After months of denial by Honda’s nominated dealer that there is nothing wrong with the car not starting. 1. for the 2nd time they said there was nothing wrong with the car 3. On failure to start RAA called and reported on fault I relayed this to Honda dealer 4. After bringing in for the 3rd time the Honda dealer then denied any fault 5. Due to ongoing issue a NOCO GB40 battery booster was purchased to keep in car for when not starting 6. After denials by Nominated dealer the car was taken to a different workshop where the fault was diagnosed and fixed within 1 hour 7. So it took many months to have our Honda fixed while under their 5 year warranty …draw your own conclusion I had it all wrong as when an organization that had such a well-respected brand that Honda was allows this to carry on amongst other issues it will only end in the downgrading of the Honda brand. Part 2 When contacting Honda customer service with these and other issues on 14/12/2023 I was informed that this was totally up to the dealer as they were an auto wholesaler that sells to independent dealers and would not get involved, no explanation given. I asked for clarification of this on 15/12/2023 but none came When I ran a company I was responsible for all work carried out under my name and it was up to me to keep control of any sub-contractors and not the responsibility of the client as I am the one that nominated them I did not purchase a vehicle from XXXX Auto but I purchased my 3 new vehicles from their nominated dealer XXXX Honda so I expected the Honda service that we had come to respect over the last 30 years I believe now that the reason we were treated like we were from their nominated dealer XXXX Honda is because they can with no fear of retribution from Honda Australia. I do not believe this is the intention of Honda in Minato City Part 3 I sincerely hoped this would have been dealt with prior to delivery of our 3rd Honda We are very disappointed as to the phone call that we received from XXXX Honda today in regards to managers statement as follows :- All previous Honda warranty work carried out by XXXX Honda was correct Statement from Honda dealer manager “Price given for trade in at time of deposit and order is not what they have to abide by” example quoting us $40,000 trade in value and taking deposit then reducing it to $34,000 on hand over due to falling Honda market value, but was then put up for sale on Lot for over $49,000 was normal approved practice. (if we were given hand over prices we would not have traded but sold cars elsewhere) Manager made accusations on prior phone call, I am sure that as phone calls are taped this could be verified Attitude of managers phone call that was on speaker ..........Lets just say 100% No Comment As far as distribution of our history in the 2023 in the dealings with XXXX Honda and Honda Australia he stated he had no objection as to how we were treated and it was of no concern to him and to proceed with distribution to media and dealers. This first release is to make future new car buyers of what to be aware of but does not in any way state that all dealers are comparable only that future buyers need to be careful on making a purchase decision
