Disappointed with Honda
My purchase of a Honda Jazz has not been a happy experience since I got it in March 2020. The now out of business dealership told me it had a 5 year Warranty, it didn't. Dealer refused to give me a tax invoice. A strange noise in the dash cannot be fixed. Rust has developed on the car, even though it has been garaged and only driven once or twice a week since April. The customer service person behaved like I was unreasonable to ask a manager at Honda Australia to tell me why they are not taking responsibility for allowing poor behaviour from franchisees. I had an expectation of a written apology from Honda Australia and got the impression that I would not get one. My experience has been very disappointing.
A great customer service with Honda car dealer in Leichhardt.
I love my brand new car, CRV 2021 model that I purchased in Leichhardt. I have a great experience with Arun who is kind, honest and professional all about customer service from choosing to receiving.
While waiting before picking my new car up, Arun kept contacting me to see how things were going. I had to go to work the day I picked up my car, so he kindly explained all buttons and new features.
I would highly recommend this car dealer, Arun, in Leichhardt.

Best dealer ever after 36 years of driving
Have purchased a new Honda Civic hatch September 29th 2020, and previously owned a 1997 Honda Odyessey and have found the family owned business to go far and above any other new or used car dealership we have ever come across. They have given us the really good advice, have gone beyond expectation with sourcing and servicing, no lie, & no pressure sales, and high professionalism. Quality products are always a bonus, but can't recommend enough. Many thanks to Peter Roberts Honda Toowoomba

Poor customer service made to feel like dumb girl
Just had my car serviced and the dash and car was altered with that I lost functions and cant get them back . Went back to get fixed and spoken to poorly like i was "dumb " and that just need to learn to deal with it.
Will get my car serviced else were from now as there was no attempt to try and appreciate my frustration or help me .
We bought our 2012 Honda Jazz second hand but decided to have it serviced by the original selling dealer. After regular log book servicing at Astoria Honda since 2014 we are very satisfied with their workmanship, customer service and value for money. The Service Advisors are all long term employees who are courteous but also very knowledgeable and helpful. The premises has a small but convenient waiting area with seating, newspapers, tea & coffee etc. Our car is always ready on time as well as washed and vacuumed.
Never buy a Honda
Highlights of the terrible experience are: Purchased a brand new Honda in June 2019 - car faulted in August 2019 (VSA fault 'which never happens') - unable to be fixed until January 2020. Car faulted again in July 2020 - Honda unable to figure out the reason for fault. Car has been returned with unknown fault (We have a 5 month old that we do not want to be driving around in a car that we currently deem to be unsafe), "could be because of the last fault, but we dunno" - Have been escalating this through the Honda Aus (as requested by our dealer...ship) with a representative named Trevor (who apparently is the highest point of escalation at Honda) - has been ongoing since faulting about a month ago (have at least been able to notify the ACCC of their lack of service/complaints process). NEVER buy a Honda and hopefully, you never have to contact them about anything. Soul destroying.
Terrible customer service
I have had my car serviced twice with Honda, the 1st time I asked to have my front sensors checked as they kept beeping when nothing was there and my key less entry was failing to lock about 50% of the time. The 1st time I was told no one was there to check and the person on the front desk wasn't helpful, my car was 30 minutes late. The 2nd time I took my car for a service and to get the sensors and key less entry checked, they found the sensor issue but not the key less entry issues. This is highly frustrating and time wasting. Also you advert...ise a full valet clean with a service and my car wasn't cleaned at all inside. I double checked on the phone when booking my car in and the lady on the phone said yes your car will be fully detailed inside and out. I've brought this up with the service department and they said they don't do that. So why is it being advertised? This is false advertising. Also every time I speak to someone the customer service is appalling and rude. Once I get my warranty items fixed I won't be taking my car there to get serviced ever again.
A littany of petty annoyances after buying a new HONDA HRV. Ridiculous excuses and no resolution.
Rear washer leaks constantly. Been back 3 times and was told it was due to the heat expanding pressure within the washer unit, forcing water out. Nothing they could do and it was normal!!!! Took out extended warranty with 3years left. Battery died so tried to book replacement. Cant see me till following week even though the service member said it was urgent I replaced it ASAP with local garage. Covered for 50% of battery replacement on warranty but...
2018 Honda Civic RS starting a problem
My Honda 2018 brand new does not start after the battery has gone fully flat after coming from holiday, I have contacted New World Honda in Berwick they're so rude and useless they will not help they want me to bring the vehicle in that's by Towing wasting my money when it's brand new vehicle I can't understand why they don't want to explain why it's not starting and try to find the problem over the phone they just want money like to help people after selling the vehicle this is a company I would not go to

Well I cant even get someone to talk to me. Days spent in a line on the phone only to be hung up on. Guess its my obligated duty to inform others by calling A Current Affair. My rego runs out in 5 days so they wont take an unregistered vehicles either ....wow what new hell is this. Thank you so much Honda
Straight forward buyback. So be patient on the phone when you call.
I called on Monday and waited practically the whole day to get a consultant. I was getting impatient and tried a few times when the call drops out. I used both my mobile and landline to call this time. Got through, she was nice courteous and helpful. I got a return call the following day to pick up the car and they arrived today Thursday. I'm calling back to see if I can get extra money for putting full petrol. It was my father's car a 1998 Accord, it's dependable and cheap to run. I was ready to dispose of it because the engine alert comes up ...due to the air filter issue and before the rego runs out this year but thank god for the timely buyback. See if you can use this recall and negotiate to get $5000 off or more on a brand new car. In a way, this buyback is a good stimulus for the economy for some.

$400 to find alternative transport. We live in the bush. There is no public transport.
Uber not chance. Taxi wont go up dirt roads.

Honda Recall Centre buyback process customer service is dreadful!!!
We have a Honda CR-V recalled for the buy-back process due to the risk of the Takata airbag inflator rupturing.
During our discussions with Honda, they advised us of three options going forward:
1. Honda's offer based on market retail price in January
2. Independent valuation by Pickles Auction, noting that this valuation will be last and final offer presented to us and if we proceed with this option then option 1 will no longer be available to us
3. Decline both previous options and continue driving vehicle (yeah real save Honda!!!).
Honda...offered us $2,400 plus $400 for personal transportation (as the vehicle is a ticking time bomb waiting to kill Australian families). The retail price of our vehicle if we were to sell our vehicle privately (noting, that if it did not have the Takata airbag inflator issue) we would be able to obtain an average private sale price of $3,100. The Honda buy-back process is an absolute scam that does not give Honda customers a fair go for being loyal customers of the brand...Honda has lost my loyalty and I will not be buying another one in my life-time and will be a strong advocate against this company due to our dreadful customer experience.
Worst Customer Care
We have had our CRV recalled for destruction and have been offered a lower than market price as well as not being duly compensated for the immediate loss of transport as we were told not to drive the vehicle at risk of death. Further to this we will end up thousands of dollars out of pocket to replace our recently serviced car with new wheels and suspension (all of which is not taken into account for the buy back price). We are disgusted with Hondas handling of this issue especially now knowing they have known of the deadly fault since 2004 and their has been deaths attributed to the fault since that date which could have conceivably avoided.
Bought 2 brand new Honda CRF110F motorbikes for 6 and 9 year olds for Xmas, both boys ride them in second gear with speed turned down half way, youngest son went over a little jump on our property came off the bike he got up didn’t hurt himself went to ride bike only not to be able to ride it as we looked at it the frame is bent underneath,we took it back and we’re told that they wouldn’t cover it as it isn’t a manufacturer defect,how can it not be with a 24kg child riding the bike in second gear ??. have been told cheapest option to fix it is to buy a new bike,WTH it is brand new it shouldn’t have happened that easy
Went in for a couple of service items as a parts buy.
Quoted almost 4 (Yes four) times what I can buy the genuine item from England. Almost fell over. That includes freight. I am a mechanic in the industry who gets trade prices. Found this actually quite offensive.
Punch me in the guts and call me an idiot, then kick me while I'm down.

I recently traded my car in on a 2014 Mondeo wagon and was impressed with the professionalism demonstrated by Sam Young and team. After lunch, when I appeared with no prior notice, he facilitated the deal on the Mondeo which had only just arrived, including inspection, cleaning, paper-work, insurance etc. and I drove it back to Jurien Bay on the same day, with bluetooth tuned in courtesy of Sam. I have never satisfied with Honda Toowong Brisbane.
My car doesn't working "stop an d go", So I booked with Honda Toowong two weeks ago because they are always making me upset. They needed me to change a new battery. However, my current battery is working as well. That's why I emailed(3rd of September) the male staff who is A*** that I w ant to keep current battery. He has never replied me til today. And today(17th of September) I went and wanted to keep my battery. But he didn't accept it. Even though, he didn't check my email til today. Additionally, the mechanic had test drive with my car af...ter change battery, they didn't use a disposable car seat cover. Usually every car service has to use disposable seat cover. I visit every six months time and they give us upset. The staff J*** is afraid of Google review but he has never afraid of customers. Today, I am upset as usual from Honda Toowong with A***

I bough a brand new Honda HR-V (DMW90V) in April 2017 form Parramatta Honda. I have had a rattle noise from the rear of the vehicle since early days and have complained about it in scheduled services. The problem persists and I have wasted a lot of days in getting this fixed by visiting the service center out of turn. I do not think it is being given the attention it should and I have complained multiple times. Can you please take this seriously and help?
