Massive drop in quality over the past decade!! Their lingerie used to be made of high-qulaity materials (soft delicate lace, gold plated details, satin, etc), well-made, well-designed, well-structured and durable. poorly designed and unsupportive that they're now only suitable for smaller cup sizes and/or those with breast implants. If you are a size 12-16 with a fuller natural cup, forget it, you just fall out everywhere. It used to be that each design was unique too. Not anymore. Now every bra style has the same cheap, tacky, shiny decals attached to the bra. Customer service has always been a little iffy (judgy, pushy and rude, etc..... this is what you get when you hire for looks instead of quality and then bully your staff too) but it's gotten even worse now. They've lost thousands of dollars of my business (and it seems many others too) due this downward spiral of quality. Such a shame.

My first visit to the Melbourne Central store was appalling! Spending 1700+ dollars was made to purchase a pair of stockings. I put on in the store brand-new that ran straight away leaving a big hole. then took 40 minutes to pack my things and at the end of that she forgot an item by this time I was running very late and was over it. She said she would email the receipt. Two weeks later I had to return the bra as it ripped after two weeks worn twice. I was getting served and then they stopped to serve somebody else apparently they were servingbefore me. Then they could not see the receipt from their shop in the computer which is linked to my honey club. They’ve then told me this is my responsibility to find it. How can I find a receipt? They didn’t email me or put in the system correctly. I had contacted online and they had sent me a copy which I could not find the arrogant stuck up girl claiming falsely to be the manager stood and smirked at me continually repeating there is nothing you can do ,not even trying to help just looking down her nose and pushing me to the edge of losing my temper entirely. I had already raised my voice out of frustration at the belligerence of these awful sales girls who spend all their time gossiping rather than helping. I then said I will contact Afterpay and this girl says oh if you have the date I can just print out the receipt! I nearly blew up it taken an hour. I had lost clients as I couldn’t make my appointment. I was distressed and this all could’ve been avoided if she was slightly proactive and did what took her two minutes! She then looked at the bra and said it doesn’t have a tag. I’ll have to talk to the office to see if they can exchange it! Or I could provide proof that I’ve talked to the online shop and all the transcripts. At this point I gave back everything I was going to buy took the bra which I think I will burn on social media as a salute to the appalling service at Melbourne Central. I have spent huge amounts of money on this brand and get better service at Kmart and to be honest the last few purchases the quality has been less than the brand represents the stockings run very easily and quickly. I have $10 pairs that have lasted longer the cheap rubber on some items snaps in the Mish on the bras your fingerprint slip through. So I think my honey journey is coming to an end. least ten times if by doing so, there would really be further consideration to my request but the agent kept turning around the answer. All I wanted was not to waste time if the action was pointless.
Result : They banned my email adress. I had to use a fake address and name today to get through an agent through the chat. No resolution was offered execept for escalating my blocked email issue.
It's a shame, they have pretty stuff. Avoid buying online if you get anything from them and do yourself a favor by doing a VERY thorough inspection before buying, they will not help after.
It's a shame, this is my last review about them. I tried reasoning but they keep reading scripts. I've spent thousands through their stores and online over the year and they simply won't acknoledge long time, faithfull and paying customers. This is the american way.
Soon, they will reply to this thread and pretend that they feel bad about the experience I've had simply to look good but realistically, they don't really care. Buy to keep, don't waste your time writing.
Zero Customer Services – I had to visit the store to return my items then repurchase them to receive the Black Friday discount…clearly, they don’t care about customer service.

I got a pair of the black stay ups and as soon as i put them on they ripped i was so upset but then the next day i went back and the lady had no issue with swapping them over for me, great customer service always from the ladies at Wollongong

I’ve recently had issues with Myer and ASOS and have no way of contacting them which is ridiculous. It shows that having good customer services goes a very long way!

I hope the management takes this issue seriously and provides better training for their staff to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity. Additionally, I found that the items were overpriced and of poor quality. Thankfully, I went elsewhere, received better service, and purchased their products instead. I will never step foot in Honey Birdette stores again
DO NOT BUY – My husband purchased a $1000 gift voucher for my 40th birthday. After 12 months, I attempted to use the voucher, however it had been accessed and spent except for $25. After over 1.5 years of asking this to be investigated still no voucher or recovery of funds. DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS UNLESS YOU WANT IT STOLEN.

was sent out. 2 weeks ago my wife purchased another set, a good $800 worth, plus express post. Tracking numbers were uploaded immediately however the items never arrived. We've just gone back to check now and both tracking numbers are false. Sent emails to their customer service and again, it's us that are made out to be the inconvenience. How dare we question the legitimacy of the tracking number, or expect the item to be sent out when it was purchased. This company has no morals or ethics, they charge up the a$$ and then sent dirty underwear that has been worn.
Avoid – Avoid I purchased a set for my wife in the size she always has from Honey B when it came it was obvious that it was miles too small so my wife never even tried on. I returned the set only to be told no refund as there was a dirty mark on it and the knickers ( which had never been out of the bag ) were damaged. It’s like pulling teeth trying to talk to them and now over £200 out of pocket with items damaged and won’t fit

I read their report and why they have gotten in the position of bankruptcy. So my question is: I Read playboy purchased the company are, they trying to loose business and bankrupt the competition Honey Birdette? I still have custom garments made in Poland ,Berlin and the UK. But liked the original styles of HB and have considered my seamstress in Berlin making copies of the older styles oddly the cost in European textiles with total costs are not much more than retail here in Australia with better fitments and better quality which did exist on early production pieces and why I started buying them.
Customer service is shocking – Just went to one of their stores hoping to buy three full sets for my honeymoon, the attendant kept treating me as if I was an inconvenience, telling me they had nothing on my size, that I wouldn’t find anything online or in other stores trying to get me to leave. While I was looking she kept following me saying there’s no point looking. I ended up finding several pieces on my size in store but refused to buy!
Horrific returns policy (breaks Australian law) – Horrific returns policy. Bought my partner a set, bra doesn't hold her, terrible design so she keeps popping out. After chasing them up again on Monday I receive my delivery today, missing items and the ones I received were stained and smell. After this experience I could not recommend this company or their products to anyone. To say I’m disappointed and fed up is an understatement.

However with the HB products, ouch! these are so brittle as to make you change the way you walk, sit, posture and even don/doff your clothes- makes for a slightly fraught evening and straight to the gardening basket to be used to bind the shrubs etc to their stakes. We decided to conduct a blind test with a girlfriend and asked her to compare them to a handful go up-market brands (Levante, Wolford, Rede, Falke, Ambra, Secrets in Lace) and a Chinese equivalent seamed stocking (cost A$5.00 with free postage!): Results in last place the HB's. Our friend traced the HB logo on the welt of the stocking tops of HB version and exclaimed an uncomplimentary expletive unbecoming of the classy Femme that she is regarding the cheapness and poor feel on skin. No wonder we buy from China when a home grown business acts with such contempt for their once loyal customer base. I suspect receivership in due course and a hard luck story on a Current Affair. Caveat emptor!

Terrible communication and order system – Purchased items which explained they had a 1-2 day ship time. After 8 days received no contact or update on order timing. Followed up and heard nothing back. Followed up again 4 days later. Still nothing. Finally got an email after the order 15 days previous. the ladies was required, so I grabbed my lube and spray and best friend and proceeded to ladies. Success. Well until I turned to flush and then a massive hole snapped my bum cheek. Disappointment doesn't cover my feelings, only worsened by the horrible customer service I received via on line chat. Upon escalation I was offered a basic apology template with the no refunds on latex response. Not an ounce of empathy, offer of a credit or any attempt at customer retention. Will not shop there ever again. I've also learnt an expensive lesson ($240) latex is not outerwear regardless of advertising.
Made in China Over-Priced Lingerie – I used to be a HUGE fan of this brand but the quality has gone downhill unfortunately. Yes some of their styles are gorgeous but the quality just isn't what it used to be and they are not a very size-inclusive brand (SOME styles go up to like a size 16 but it's rare).
