number of times I've gone on to HotCopper in the last 3 years and seen only negative rhetoric, I wouldn't need to work anymore! Absolutely awful site now, full of absolutely awful users that apparently call themselves human beings.

This has to be the most unreliable and unstable platform operating, overloaded with advertising, its information inaccessible as it cannot handle the traffic, absolutely dreadful

Hotcopper looks like it’s definitely a Pro Russian website. It’s full of posts from Russian propaganda bloggers and climate change deniers posting unsubstantiated rubbish. When you challenge their propaganda you get suspended. The Federal Government should look into that.

hate being told and complain long and loud when they're unable to argue the facts and realities of their investments. Many don't understand the complex nature of business and investment. Mixed in amongst the complainers and company defenders are some very knowledgeable people making astute observations regarding the state of the various companies. I have no problem recommending Hot Copper for what it is.... A site to dissect ( Good or Bad) the companies we invest in. .

Disappointing – People should not rely on Hot Copper for any research. The forums are full of trolls and paid posters from companies that seem to be supported by Hot Copper. Some of the forums have been so over run by paid posters that I have given up even reading posts from the people whom I see as genuine. Hot Copper needs to give the site a shake up. Show details

others. When reported to Hot Copper moderators these continually are ignored even when obviously not the truth. This forum could be much better if Hot Copper moderators applied the rules fairly on both sides. I believe in opposing views and fair debates. This site is not that.

Everyone goes to HotCopper for the mist active investor forum – I find all my research on HotCopper. It offers unique info on all of my stocks. I use Twitter as well and find more info on HotCopper. I haven't had the same experience as the ones below. I don't post much, but i do review what others say.

A cesspit of vile downranpers – Unfortunately the site has very poor moderation in my opinion and people are permitted paid or not to constantly attack stocks and stifle proper conversation.

Very Concerning Conduct – Numerous observation over years of use: - Certain members of company organizations permitted to post on competition threads. However when the vice versa occurs. These posters are removed. - Accounts displeased with this activity upon accused companies and highlighting the unfairness all removed as well. - Members banned without any warning or… Read more

evidence of the accusations made against them. Again only supporting certain companies. -These members then make appeals asking as to why this has happened and why they are banned. They are ignored and remain suspended. - Other members from the offending company reported for far more serious offences. Requests are ignored to investigate and posts remain unmoderated. - Moderator reasons for moderation appear to apply in some instances but not others when reported and even shown the comparisons. - Group and individual appeals to stop this very unfair conduct from all these activities are ignored.

To me the Hotcopper community manage continually permits unfair and unjust activity by some acting for certain companies. While brutally clamping down on other posters and banning them for far less serious activity in the contrary. I find this conduct to be blatantly obvious and very concerning from a company that supposed to operate in an unbiased fashion. -

A place for cyberbullying – My experience of HotCopper is that it is an internet forum site that is full of cyberbullying and trolls. These people are not removed dispite the forum having a non cyberbullying policy.
