Ok but definitely not my preferred brand
When you do enough nappy changes you start to discover small things make all the difference. Like a few brands the nappies hold well but often I found when doing a change the tags would fold back on the nappy. This stops you wrapping it into a nice self contained package.
Shocked how bad these are.
I've just had my first son and on his first lot of nappies I used a brand called "little ones" which we received from the baby shower, I had no issues with them after using the whole packet.
I then moved onto using the "Huggies Newborn" for the first time and from the first nappie poo leak out. The poo has only come out on that first nappy so benefit of the doubt I would say I may of put on incorrectly but there have been multiple times they have leaked through with wee onto all his clothes. Making the night changes much more dreadful having t...

Wet through every time. Disappointing!
The private hospital were still using Huggies so naturally we thought they were most reliable. But after a couple of weeks using them for our newborn we noticed that it was leaking through each and every time! It’s like there is no water proof outside layer at all. No wonder why her bum felt wet through her clothes constantly. And this is only for a 1-2 week old baby being changed every 2-3 hours. Read the packet - made in China - is this why? Very disappointing!
I have been using huggies since my first born.been very satisfied with huggies for 17 years. But lately the new ones (now made in china). Are a huge disappointment. They sag, and then leak. Before huggies was value for money I would use 2-3 a day, but now I have to change immediately after my toddler poops. Because it might fall out due to sagging.very inconvenient. I actually did not want to buy huggies anymore when I found out they will be produced in China. But my partner bought them. So I just used them. Clearly I was right not to buy them in the first place. Why did they have to move the manufacturing to China....China....20 years of trust gone. Bye bye.

Favourite newborn nappy
I love the Huggies ultimate in the newborn size. I wasn't sure if I could justify the cost when also nappies are half the price but these are twice as soft and very absorbent. They are nice and snug around the legs. Haven't had a leak with these and my baby gets no nappy rash.
Do not confuse the Huggies ultimate with the Huggies essentials, the essentials are half the quality.

Perfect! My baby can’t live without it
Perfect! My baby can’t live without it. Its comfortable and reliable but i dont think it works for 12 hours as claimed by brand but its good for 5-6 hours.
Purchased at Woolworths for $30.00.
Cute and absorbent!
My wife purchased huggies newborn nappies yesterday for our daughter. She's used to babylove nappies but we decided to change to huggies because she's getting rashes from it! This has been the best nappy so far..

I wish I could give negative rating to this product. I paid 13.99$ for a 54 nappy pack size 2 huggies essentials while I pay 9.99$ for a 60 nappy pack size 2 Aldi brand. I thought although I am buying essentials variety, huggies brand would most definitely be better. Guess what I was wrong. Don’t buy this variety. It is a waste of anyone’s money. I have attached the image of the both branda together. Decide for yourselves!

Newborn Ultimates VERY poor quality
I bought these for my daughter's newborn son and she was also gifted some from friends. She has discovered that those still saying made in Australia are ok but if not they leak within 2.5 hours for a 1 week old baby. Not a good start for a new-time mum (and baby) with wet clothes and wet bedding multiple times in a day. She was questioning her own ability to put a nappy on the baby until she experimented with other brands and realised that it was only these Huggies Ultimates that leaked EVERY time. Hopefully Huggies realise that cheaping ou...t with overseas production and subsequent poor quality will ultimately (no pun intended !!) lose them more money than they are saving. My daughter will now NEVER buy Huggies again. She has already found that even homebrand newborn nappies are better than the "new and improved" Huggies. Corporate greed is likely to backfire on the company... What a shame... She is moving to Modern Cloth Nappies (MCNs) which will be better for baby, her budget and the environment.
These are by far the best newborn nappies! We went through so many brands and Huggies tops them all! They are a great fit with even better absorption! I highly reccomend

Great nappies l
I found these nappies to be fantastic. They fit my new born baby well and didnt leak I found that they looked comfortable and and I didnt have any issues with nappy rash. I would recommend them as great value for money.
Comfortable and absorbant nappy. Frequently had poo explosions out the side though because they are a little too streamlined to hold it all in... only purchase on special or they get quite expensive

Huggies is best dipper for new born baby...no leak..I recommended to use this dipper and also use this dipper for two to three year children. Easy to use and change
