what a disgusting team Firstly, overcharged interest and took 2 months to accept their mistake... I found discrepancies in the charged interests every month... I can't believe such bank does exist in Australia.... Will never recommend Hume Bank to anyone... not even to my worst enemy.. Can't give 0 .. else I'd have given 0 to Hume Bank. Doesn't deserve to be doing business in Asutralia.

I received a verification link, but it looked like spam. When I clicked on it, I just got an error message. Something went wrong An error occurred and your verification is not yet complete. Please contact Hume Bank to discuss your options. Totally wasted my time. I’ll be joining a different bank instead

Great interest rates – I've had a very positive experience with Hume Bank. Their discount home loan was significantly cheaper than other banks. Their interest rate movements have been in line with the RBA cash rate movements. It's a smaller bank so the app is not as fancy as other banks and they can be a bit slower to approve loans. Their pricing is worth it.

Hopeless incompetent waste of space. Should be paying to breath oxygen – I have a AAA credit rating so I applied for a credit card and forwarded much documentation for this. Unfortunately, the Hume site cannot cope with the documentation that THEY request so further documentation is required. Hume said they have NO RECORD OF MY APPLICATION even though THEY sent ME the application number. They also said DON'T do it on a phone, even though they already stated that you CAN. Hume then said I have to begin the entire application from the beginning. Morons. Don't deal with them. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

You can leave this out of your options – This is an online bank advertising the lowest rate for Home Loans in February 2023. We applied due to the attractive rates. We have a triple A credit rating and have been preapproved by another bank for more than we needed. This bank asked for a lot of personal and financial information, imposed ridiculous conditions, and then became uncommunicative at the 11th hour. Do not recommend dealing with this bank. It is a waste of your time and energy.

have the pimple. That was the most stupid excuse that i have never heard. I think was lucky not to deposit my salary into the account otherwise that would be a hassle to withdraw the money.

The worst customer service – I rang and spoke to somebody and they used profanity then they refused to open the account until I could verify my id either with a selfie or a certified copy of it. Dont Bother – Applied for a loan. They just kept sending me the same e email asking for the same paperwork id already supplied. No one bothered to call or follow up. Worst service possible. Go to the big banks at least you'll get a little respect

is terrible and unable to get anything working, they then asked for a "certified" copy of my drivers license, despite the fact that I already have a working account with them. Its like an experiment gone wrong, would not trust them with more than pocket change. They've lost my business.

Just horrible – I have been with Hume for over a year now and it still takes anywhere from two to five days for money to transfer into my account, even from accounts I transfer from regularly. And the app is horrible. It is barely ever working. You go into it to do one thing and you have to do a bunch of other things, and then you have to put in your vip token… Read more

which most of the time just says it is invalid. It is frustrating to no end. The only positive about the bank is that at the actual branch they were very helpful.
