The customers who ordered after us ordered the same and got the same attitude, with Zeda shaking her head. The same customer warned my daughter not to use the toilet as it was filthy. This is the worst Hungry Jacks we have ever visited. Employing a Manager with no respect for customers is not good for any business and could be the reason they lose customers.
I love the cheaper food options but anything above that is not worth it. The fried chicken burger for $11 was the biggest let down and the advertised image of the burger is completely misleading. The manager contacted me via WhatsApp requesting evidence. I have three videos clearly capturing the two employees swearing, driving like idiots, and getting out of the car wearing their Hungry Jack’s uniforms.
I was told the manager would get back to me after I provided the videos. I supplied the evidence, yet I have received no further response.
You would expect a company like Hungry Jack’s to take this sort of behaviour seriously, investigate the complaint, and at least have the courtesy to provide an update.
The lack of follow-up raises serious questions about how seriously Hungry Jack’s takes complaints involving its employees and the reputation of its brand.

I understand that food can sometimes be overcooked, but this was far below the quality I expected from Hungry Jack’s. I hope the store can pay more attention to the freshness and cooking quality of their burgers, especially for takeaway orders.

As Hungry Jacks crap app requires, I chose the drive thru, which shouldn't even be an option when the store is closed and drive thru is the only option, or when it DOESN'T speed up the order process, or when operating your phone while on the road, or in the drive thru, is an offence, and which I have raised with Hungry Jacks NUMEROUS TIMES, or when McDonald's and KFC don't require this function, and I received my order number..
When I pulled into the drive thru and told the incompetent tattooed, child like manager my order number, he claimed not to have it in his system and despite driving around to the window and showing my order number, and the order details, he refused to complete the order..
Being my birthday, and that I am on a minimal budget due to unforeseen expenses, I was not in a position to reorder the meals and I had to leave without the food I ordered for us all...
I don't think I need to say how p!ss'd off I was...
Fast forward 2 days, and Hungry Jacks have stolen the funds that were pending in my bank account for food the cocky little turd, child like manager refused to process instead of refunding..
The other managers at the Hungry jacks store I ordered from would, and have, sorted and processed an order with the same issues..
The same issue occured a week or so before this, and the manager fixed the issue without a fuss..
To top off the refusal to process the order based on the order details in my app, and that the issue occured only minutes after ordering, the child like manager tried accusing me of ordering at the wrong store. and then proceeded to claim the issue was on my end, not on his, despite the fact that the app showed all the relevant details that his system didn't have..
Taking my money after all of the aforementioned issues is a slap in the face...

25 minute wait in drive through. Orders not taken from alternate lanes making it unfair. Finally got to place order and told no ice cream products available. Forced to wait another 20 minutes to get out. Stay away!
Normally we are quite pleased with HJ UNTIL we ordered from their Lake Haven store. Gave us squished empty dried up chicken burgers that were the wrong burgers for a start then when drove alllll the way back to the store they told us they’d run out of chicken hence the rubbish they served us. years ago the veggie burger was lovely. Very high fat count. I am glad they have something veggie but the patty could be improved so easily or left off and replaced with an egg and some salad, the same amount as the pictures

Tried their Big Jack Angus burger recently, really enjoyable, the meat was caramelised on the edges, their sauce was subtle but nice, i will order these again, may I say it was nothing like the disappointing opposition burger of similar design, its completely different and super tasty

is always fresh and very tasty and orders are always correct, as they see we eat in and they must get the orders correct. I feel people who are forced to use drive through many times get the incorrect order, us included and there is nothing more annoying after a long day to get order home and find its in correct or cold. Thats why we make time to eat in and it works. I know not everybody can do this, but it is really the only option. They have to address a complaint if you look in the bag at the point of collection and the order is not correct, they want to move you on, but exercise your rights as a paying customer and go through your order before you drive away. If everybody did this, I bet orders would improve dramatically.

Hungry Jack Karingal is one of the worst outlets I have been to. Don't get me wrong, I like hungry Jack's, but Karingals food is disgusting. They need to be retrained or moved on..
The way I was spoken to by the drive thru employee was absolutely disgusting. I was accused of being rude and then completely ignored when I addressed the behaviour and had the drive thru window slammed in my face. This store needs to address customer service quickly as their sales are dropping and will drop further when customers are accused and treated in this manner.
Service-appalling. Wait time- ridiculous over 35mins for my order. Staff-rude. No service at front counter. No one even talking to each other in the back. Any staff passing through restaurant scowling and unwelcoming. Restaurant not very clean. Won’t be going back. Very disappointed.

provided. The worst incident saw only a few onion rings thrown in the bag.Not the meal ordered. On every occasion I had left the drive through before I realised I had been ripped off. When I did complain via their online form the reply was I should have returned to the store. No refund. No offer to rectify the situation. Nothing required by consumer law. In my case I estimate Hungry Jacks have gotten away with about $60 without providing the service they advertised. Dont go there. If you do know your rights and demand they provide what they advertise and if the dont report their actions to the ACCC or consumer affairs in your state.
There's no difference in taste between HJs & McDonalds. I thought I would treat myself to HJs last night but I was hugely disappointed. The junior whoppers I ordered tasted like cardboard, however, the chips were nicely cooked but too much salt on them! The staff should be asking if you want salt on your chips or not.
