I emailed HJ's customer service as you can't phone them.. explained what I experianced and how discusting the meal was, days later I received a reply " WE HOPE YOU HAVE A BETTER EXPERIANCE THE NEXT TIME YOU VISIT US" We'll HJ that experience was months ago and I haven't visited any of you fast food sites, never ever will l waist hard earned cash on the crap you sell. I will not order ever again, I asked for full cream milk in my cappicino coffee, extra froth & no sugar. I understand that food can sometimes be overcooked, but this was far below the quality I expected from Hungry Jack’s. I hope the store can pay more attention to the freshness and cooking quality of their burgers, especially for takeaway orders.

As Hungry Jacks crap app requires, I chose the drive thru, which shouldn't even be an option when the store is closed and drive thru is the only option, or when it DOESN'T speed up the order process, or when operating your phone while on the road, or in the drive thru, is an offence, and which I have raised with Hungry Jacks NUMEROUS TIMES, or when McDonald's and KFC don't require this function, and I received my order number..
When I pulled into the drive thru and told the incompetent tattooed, child like manager my order number, he claimed not to have it in his system and despite driving around to the window and showing my order number, and the order details, he refused to complete the order..
Being my birthday, and that I am on a minimal budget due to unforeseen expenses, I was not in a position to reorder the meals and I had to leave without the food I ordered for us all...
I don't think I need to say how p!ss'd off I was...
Fast forward 2 days, and Hungry Jacks have stolen the funds that were pending in my bank account for food the cocky little turd, child like manager refused to process instead of refunding..
The other managers at the Hungry jacks store I ordered from would, and have, sorted and processed an order with the same issues..
The same issue occured a week or so before this, and the manager fixed the issue without a fuss..
To top off the refusal to process the order based on the order details in my app, and that the issue occured only minutes after ordering, the child like manager tried accusing me of ordering at the wrong store. and then proceeded to claim the issue was on my end, not on his, despite the fact that the app showed all the relevant details that his system didn't have..
Taking my money after all of the aforementioned issues is a slap in the face...
I will not be spending any more money on
25 minute wait in drive through. Orders not taken from alternate lanes making it unfair. Finally got to place order and told no ice cream products available. Forced to wait another 20 minutes to get out. Stay away!
Normally we are quite pleased with HJ UNTIL we ordered from their Lake Haven store. Gave us squished empty dried up chicken burgers that were the wrong burgers for a start then when drove alllll the way back to the store they told us they’d run out of chicken hence the rubbish they served us. is always fresh and very tasty and orders are always correct, as they see we eat in and they must get the orders correct. I feel people who are forced to use drive through many times get the incorrect order, us included and there is nothing more annoying after a long day to get order home and find its in correct or cold. Thats why we make time to eat in and it works. I know not everybody can do this, but it is really the only option. They have to address a complaint if you look in the bag at the point of collection and the order is not correct, they want to move you on, but exercise your rights as a paying customer and go through your order before you drive away. If everybody did this, I bet orders would improve dramatically.

than the ones at Maccas. The prices are pretty reasonable too - $5.15 for a cheeseburger. I also tried a Biscoff Storm - holy heck. So good. In reading a lot of the reviews, it seems like the biggest issue for people is HJs getting the order wrong. I got 3 takeaways over 2 weeks via Ubereats and the orders were spot on every time. Might have just got lucky. Anyway, big fan and new convert. Would struggle to go back to Maccas after this.

melted slop spilling down the cones, into the cardboard. Do better. Your cones used to be amazing, filled to the brim in the cone, and filled to the extreme outside of the cone, they used to be an absolute pleasure to order and devour, but now a pittance. Tell your staff to make the cones seconds before handing them to the customer, not make them, let them sit, then expect us to accept melted goo. And be generous, like you used to be, generous serving a given (well at least should be) now you fritters have been greedy piggies with your prices.
KAT was so rude to me. never coming back here again, i got the wrong order given to me and they said i ordered even when they gave me a receipt, and it said i didn’t get it. i didn’t get a refund, instead i got rude looks by the staff, eye rolls and attitude. they also charged me an extra $8 for an apple juice, that i didn’t even order.

I attended gawler south hungry jacks - ordered hamburger and capacino - the hamburger was tiny slice of bread that would fit into babys hand and the capercino was nothing more then cold watered down milk - absolutely disgusting and it should be closed down for the trash the hand out to public
