3 Brokers Down - All Hope Was Lost - UNTIL We found Hunter Galloway! – Our first broker assessed our situation for 2 months and eventually said that we had no chance with anyone other than St George. Servicing was $200k less and we had a 30 day wait - so we had to cull this option Our second broker (Wealthy You - George Popadalis & Umais Minai) assured us that we could get through with ING. declined and initially we were told there was no hope. After we pushed and pushed (as they had been so sure about ING), they came up with a partial alternative of 3% on a variable loan. This wasn’t even a definite alternative and my wife and I became very stressed and worried. 
We reached out to Suncorp (who our existing mortgage was with) but they had a 8 day turn around and wouldn’t offer a pre-approval. We decided this was too risky.

At this point we were very worried. We had sold our house and had already contracted for another. Not only were we worried we would have to crash on finance, but we were worried we would end up living in a far worse area/suburb. My wife is on maternity leave, my credit score was bleak (due simply to credit enquiries vs bad credit), we had a ‘joint property debt’ with our sister in law, and I was on probation. We had also had one decline already. We were really worried.

Finally, we found Hunter Galloway. They the situation around in 1 week and got us a 4-year fixed rate of 1.94%. Heres how it went down… At 6PM on the Thursday we got in contact with Nathan/Ty. They sent us a document link before they left for the day and booked us for a meeting first thing in the morning. Before the meeting TY did his due diligence and ran our situation past a BDM at the bank. By the time we hit the meeting TY was certain he had a deal for us and by 5pm that day the documents were signed and submitted. By the Monday they bank confirmed they were ok with our financials and a valuation ordered. By the Wednesday we had a pre-approval and by the Friday we had the formal approval. To say we are thankful is an understatement. Ty, especially, worked so very hard behind the scenes to hold out deal together and get us a cracking rate in record time. His communication was second to none and we could always be sure that as soon as there was an update, Ty would be on the phone to us. Unlike the three prior brokers, Ty did what he said he would do and at an incredible rate.

We are so thankful and grateful that we found Hunter Galloway - we will be certainly using them again.

At settlement our solicitor became difficult and Ty was on the phone to the solicitor and us sorting out issues.
