Huusk

Sharp during the first week only. Dulls very quickly. Very poor shape for any sort of prep (angle is too steep and hole is in the worst spot possible). Not very useful (now sits in my "overflow" drawer). The only nice thing I can say is it looks cool...but that doesn't get things chopped.

Received a Huusk knife as an apology "gift" after concerns I had with another product connected to Orbio World/Ausica. It was hoped that this "gift" would encourage me to write a positive review following my negative review. Have only used the knife twice as it is heavy and cumbersome and not very sharp. Can't be bothered with it. Don't waste your time and energy dealing with this company!!

The knives themselves are OK, actually quite good, but it's now been two whole years since I bought one, and Huusk WILL NOT STOP CALLING ME!!! The telemarketing calls come every week, regular as clockwork, and no matter what I say to try to get off their telemarketing list, they just keep calling me over and over again. So, if you do purchase a product from them, make sure you're ready for a lifelong telephone relationship!

Fraudsters – Never purchased from this company and illegally harassed by this company, company of extremely low morale fibre and under Commonwealth Criminal Code s-474(17) committing criminal offence in Australia. Company needs to be de registered.

SPAM, SPAM AND MORE SPAM – I have never purchased from this company but somehow they have my email address and will not let up. So many spam emails, impossible to block the sender as they come from a different address every time. Why any company would destroy their brand name this way is beyond comprehension.

I bought the Huusk knife thinking it would make meal prep easier, and it did, especially when I had to quickly chop veggies for a last-minute family dinner. But after a few weeks of regular use, I noticed it wasn’t slicing as smoothly, good thing I bought a knife sharpener along with it, easy peasy. Show reply

Scammed out of money – Haven't tried the knives yet but I note other reviews saying they ordered one knife and were billed for4. This is exactly what happened to me . I tried contacting customer service with no result. I have no use for 4 and most reviews say they are rubbish anyway. It's clearly a scam way to get more money out of people. Scam emails continue – Never purchased but they keep sending scam emails. Somewhere I have purchased shared my emails. 15 scam emails everyday 3 from Husk knives.

hope you fall of the planet – what aload of rubbish these knives are very poorly made not at all sharp and hard to keep sharp then they bombard you with emails you cant stop they are relentless and no matter what you do you cant stop them do not bother with these you will regret dealing with these terrible people

Huusk spam never ends – Spam emails trying to scam/sell a terrible knife. I never asked or clicked on anything. Best I can think of is signing up to Amazon and my email was sold by a third world employee. Huusk deserves zero stars.

The Lithuanian/Japanese knife – I made the mistake of buying one of these after being heavily bombarded with their junk mail over a long period of time. (See...advertising works!) of cut. The shape is completely wrong for normal household use. My first reaction was to throw it out, but better judgement prevailed and I have kept it as a reminder to myself to never fall for such advertising ever again and read the reviews first. The knife kept an edge for six or seven cuts and now will not even cut paper. The company which produces this knife comes from Lithuania and to my knowledge Lithuania is yet to discover steel. Where Japan comes into the equation has left me confuddled. My advice to anyone considering buying one of these is to ask your doctor to change your meds. or make the decision once you have sobered up. The advertising and harassment did not finish there as I was receiving calls from Huusk nearly every month for the next year asking how I "liked" the knife. This continued even after I explained to the young lady on the other end that the best place for the knife was in the bin.

[Content Removed] Huusk advertising emails – How do I stop these unwanted unsolicited advertising emails.? There's no option to unsubscribe facility and (unsurprisingly) their emails don't work. This is getting so frustrating that even if I was interested in their knives, their unscrupulous forcing down my thr9at advertising would put me completely off.

Serious Sharp knife that works well – I got gifted the knife and I love how sharp and solid it is to handle. I find it wonderful for what I need it for. I use these specific knifes when I'm BBQing. It cuts through pork ribs well and also helps a lot when I'm breaking down a whole spit-roasted lamb or pig. I even purchased more of these knives and have given them to BBQ friends as I find them to be the best knives for that type of cooking. Show reply

Leave me alone - no more emails – Receive constant emails every day and no way to unsubscribe. I don’t know how they got my email address. I’ve tried to e-mail them but e-mail invalid. Still the constant barrage of emails continues. Stay away from them.

Completely pleased with my knives! – Compared to previous brands we've had, the steel in these knives maintains its edge longer and is razor sharp when using a wetstone, etc. This is the greatest commercial brand of steel I've ever experienced. reacts really well to both a steel and an hone. Show reply

Barrage of unwanted emails and unable to stop them – I’ve been receiving unwanted emails from this company for a couple of months now. I don’t know how they got my email address. Theres no unsubscribe button on the emails. I’ve blocked the sender and also rang the company 2 days ago and asked them to remove my email address from their mailing list and was promised at the time that this had been done, but still the constant barrage of emails continue. Be very cautious of this company.

Avoid at all costs, poorest quality – Firstly this knife was given to me as a gift for Christmas. The person who gave it to me knew I was a knife collector and thought I would like it.......how wrong could they be. like beetroot and sweet potatoes. The blade is too upswept to be useful and to use the tip you would have to lift your elbow/arm high. The edge geometry is poor and for a general chefs knife it should really be a full flat grind. The quality of grind is poor and the paint effect is really cheap. The steel is unknown and I found the edge retention was deplorable and the edge rolled after just 2 uses. Avoid at all costs and beware there is another brand starting with M that seems eerily familiar.

Run from Huusk – That is a negative star - the worst knife ever - blade is thick and blunt - heavy knife that is not worth anything - they would not give me a refund - they avoided answering emails - now they have bombared me with their spam - do not waste your money - mine went in the bin ..
