My experience with Ian’s Plumbing left me disappointed. I was quoted approximately $2,100 to replace two basin taps and repair a simple leaking vanity waste. I terminated the contract after the tap replacement which cost approximately $1,100 which was done in under 15 min as I did not feel this represented fair value. and subsequently had the leak fixed which required the replacing a simple sealing ring for under $100. I requested an explanation of the pricing, but the response did not address my concerns. As an NDIS participant on a limited budget, clear, transparent pricing and good value are particularly important to me. Based on my experience, I recommend obtaining several detailed fixed-price quotes before committing to plumbing work.
Fixed a slow dripping (non-emergency) front yard garden tap by replacing it with a $21 Bunnings tap. Quick job, about 20 minutes, no fuss, no mess. Cost - $520.60. I thought this excessive to remove an old tap and replace it with a $21 tap. I did get an $85 discount being my first (and last) service.
Good service, the guy came over and check the issue. Found out that my tap was licking and he changed the tap for $1490... I never had a plumbing job done, so I guess it is a standard price... Regards Nick Show reply

QLD - DO NOT USE - [Content Removed] company who charge “fixed rates”. Unmarked utes/no uniforms will show up after the call centre confirms. They shove an iPad infront of you to sign. Stay away from this company! we were quoted $2500 for a 40 minute job in oakleigh. We had another plumber come and complete the work for $280. These people are Criminals! i actually think this is a scam site!

with her old vulcan wall heater, I was told he needs to call the gas fitter and asked for my address and name, I asked what's the cost, he said I can't give you a price I need to call the gas fitter, I asked are you just making the appointments he said yes and told me their is a fee for calling out but if you choose to get it fixed the fee would be waived but if you don't you'll need to pay the call out fee, that sounds reasonable, when I said I'll speak with my mother he hung up on me. What a disappointment to advertise that you care about helping customers out especially the elderly in times of need and you choose to hang up on them.
