Audi had a requirement for new waiting chairs and custom cabinets. I found the quality of the products and attention to detail from the guys at IOF exactly what i needed ti feel confident with my purchase. The outcome was a fresh, stylish and cost effective upgrade to our showroom space. I was mostly impressed with the detailed drawings of the cabinets and the fast manufacturing time. Brilliant Service from start to finish. We ran a large scale office fit-out earlier on in the year and were provided with space planning, 3D layout drawings and products that were well within our budget. The online website was easy to navigate and there is a quote function where you can list all of the items you need and then it displayed the delivery which was great as we are in a rural area. Great experience with the sales team and in particular Michael. His experience with workstations and space planning was very impressive. I gave them 2 months to send goods out despite numerous points of contact and being promises dispatch. Ended up having to chargeback the order. AVOID. PS. They did NOT send it out in the end. They must be going out of business or something. Show details
Terrible service – This company is hopeless. I chatted to customer service via online chat. I'm not sure if it was a human or bot, but I wanted to purchase a pinboard and told them the measurements, because apparently you can't just purchase this one through their website. details.' They never did. I then managed to purchase a different pinboard through the website, and they asked for my address and sent me an order number, but didn't ask for payment. Strange and unprofessional. What a waist of time, but to be honest I'm glad I didn't buy anything, because who knows what I would have ended up with.

Good Product.... Terrible Service – Delivery timeframes extended by 2 weeks after order. Took 3 x attempts to assemble tables (delivery on 1st attempt). On 1st attempt when tables delivered there were missing parts so one table could not be assembled. missing parts and could not complete (almost one week wait). Had to chase up to organise completion (after 3 days) after the 2nd unsuccessful attempt, as Ideal did not follow up, no phone call, no email to say they are on it and it will be completed soon,NOTHING. Long wait for product, long wait for any problems to be fixed,. We had to follow up for to receive service (most of the time) - little proactivity to resolve problems quickly. Very poor service!
Average experience – I tried to cancel the order based on COVID, but considering it was a colour from their catalogue its "custom made". Took over a month to receive.. I'm sure they didn't even start production on it and could have easily given a refund considering its taking so long. Show details

Crap Customer Service – I purchased a Diplomat Chair Mat for my office to protect the carpet for $147.00 plus $33 delivery. I ordered online but had to transfer the funds via a bank transfer. be suitable for, I decided the standard would be enough. But after using it for an hour, realised that it was too thin and I needed the extra duty thicker one. Till now, all was fine with the service. However, when I tried to organise a return, I had to send three emails before I received a response. Then I was told that I had to pay a restocking fee of 30% ($44.00), a pickup fee of $33.00 plus the cost of the new mat of $274.00 - a total of $384.00. I said okay, let's start the process. I then sent another 4 emails with no response to any of them. I used the online chat facility to try to get through. They promptly sent me the invoice for $384.00. But they didn't refund the amount of the previous purchase. In other words there would be no refund until they sighted the returned item. So they expected me to be $564.00 out of pocket with only a single mat and only a possibility of getting a refund. I didn't think this was very fair and in fact quite harsh. I got the impression that they didn't really care about my dissatisfaction at all.
BOTTOM LINE. They'll take your money promptly but bad luck if you don't like what you get. They won't care if you're not happy and really can't be bothered responding to your emails.

I called again, and another customer service staff answered the phone, and promised me that the package would be sent out by Express Post. I should receive them the next business day. And, of course, no delivery at all!!! I called back and asked what was going on. I was told the package SHOULD be sent out by express post. I said where is the tracking number if it was express post? Could not give me an answer. Said would follow up, and get back to me within the day.
And, with no surprise, no follow up. I had to call back again and this time I was very angry and told them that they have to get back to me no matter what. This time I got a reply and told me the package should be with me the next day. And, without surprise, the package did not arrive.
I had to contact them again.... Where is it?!?!?! The staff said would follow up and get back to me because the warehouse kept not answering the phone. Got an email the next day saying she confirmed with the warehouse to drop the package off the next day. That would be yesterday. Guess what, the package is still nowhere!
I cannot even get through by phone calls today because there is no one to pick up the calls!!!
How hard is it to send out a package! Seriously!!! I want to change my desk only because the old desk was too low for me, and I needed something that is higher. That was why I chose the desk with the height plugs! i do not want to stuff my back!!!
Seriously, what is going on with the businesses in those days! What happened to customer services?!
Replacement Keys – I attempted to purchase replacement keys for steelco cabinets that were originally purchased through IOF, as their website claims that they can provide this service. After 6 emails and 3 phone calls I realised that this was just hard for the ladies in the office. Wouldn't like to be purchasing anything more complicated than a couple of keys!

Perfect Customer Service – Purchased over the Phone With Great Customer Service I ordered a couple of chairs, then with prompt delivery and constant check ups to see how the delivery went. I went back to Ideal Office and ordered more Chairs , Tables and even Lounges. I would highly Recommend this company!!

Do not support business like this, they deserve to have no customers.
Best Service and best furniture – Best Furniture, Best prices, Sensational service. Mark the owner personally helped with the setup, couldn't believe when he turned up to help. Our cafe customers love the furniture and constantly comment on how comfortable the chairs are and so light weight. What's more amazing the chairs are unique and sturdy survive the constant day to day use. Have not seen chairs anywhere. We couldn't be happier. IOF you have a customer for life.
