Never worked even when under warrenty – I bought a package Ilve appliances stove, bar fridge, and dishwasher. The dishwasher was hopeless and was a rebranded one that never cleaned properly. It lasted a couple of years until I replaced it with a much cheaper dishlex that did a better job. The oven stove top never on the burners only 2 out of 5 worked. It took forever to heat up. Maybe we just got a bad one – Had our 90cm one and a half oven Ilve for approx 6 years. Good when it's going but have spent over a thousand dollars (NZ dollars) on it already and just been quoted approx NZ$900 for repairs needed now.
Poor customer service. Wrong operations manual. No contact for more than a month – 29/06/2022 called ILVE on 02 8569 5600 for customer support. Require correct operations manual. is no "duration key" and "end of cooking key."
MANUAL OPERATON Instruction manual says "to start cooking without setting the end of cooking time, press the manual key." There is no "manual key."
Tried to use the oven randomly pressing only clock and -/+ keys and oven won't turn off and turns on in the middle of the night. Safety hazard.
07/07/2022 went to the ILVE website and left a message for customer support as no call was received since 29/06/2022. Also called ILVE and Bernie said someone would call back in 48 hours. No call received as of 20/07/2022.
More than a month of no contact. Poor customer service. Expensive oven useless.

Ilve 90cm build oven – Just outside of warranty hinge broke inside door, making the door stay open a bit, heat coming out destroyed new kitchen cabinets. Eurolinx( Appliances online ) replaced hinge out of good will( Took 6 months ) but wouldn't compensate for damage done by fault oven hinge. ($5k )Went through ACCC and fair trading. Told us to fight in court with a lawyer as it was outside warranty by a year...I will never buy off products from Eurolinx again. Show details

A dud from new – Purchased new $4,000 Ilve stove in 2015, took it to the tip yesterday after 7 years of frustration Relief at last. First the oven burnt the outside and left inside raw. Could not be fixed. So resorted to top only. Eventually only one burner out of five worked ! Show details
3 months old stove with multiple issues – Our new Ilve stove was installed 3 months ago. We used the middle burner only 5 times, the black cover plate is peeling and has stained the brass burner. We emailed Ilve customer care 5 days ago and haven’t heard back on warranty replacement. The stainless is also very poor quality, hard to clean compare to other stainless steel appliances and already show signs of rust after 3 months. Show details

14 years and I'm very happy with it – I've had this freestanding ILVE for 14 years. Finally, I have to call a repairman for the grill element that no longer works. Some of the clickers don't work but I can use a lighter. But that's a pretty good run for 14 years! I would buy the same again if the quality is the same in the new ones. I wipe down the stovetop after every use and… Read more
keep up with cleaning oven parts. I must admit I have never had the guts to pull apart the oven door for cleaning but it still looks good. Overall, it still looks new even with almost daily use for 14 years. I'm taking it with me when I build a new house.
Ilve P90BMP – We bought our first house and to our suprise we had a great wee gas stove. Now we have used it for over 1 month i can honestly say its fantastic, our scanpan gets nice and evenly heated. Every gas hob starts first time and the oven runs like a dream. I've been told this stove is near on 10 years old so I'm pleasantly suprised at how well it has… Read more

One tip i have been given is if you can ignite the burner, but after releasing the button it wont stay on, just put a little ball of tinfoil in the knob, Supposedly they wear over time and dont activate the valve properly. Not needed for me yet but will keep the note in case it does happen
love my Ilve – We have had our Ilve for abouy 16 years and have never had a problem till now.I have loved it from when i first got it and would buy another.just now have a problem with a switch but hoping to fix.love the way it cooks and love yhe way it looks and love the size Show details

ilve products in general don't last – 10 years ago I bought ilve products, oven, inductance cooktop and microwave with a newly built kitchen the oven failed after five years, microwave failed three times under 2 year warranty was replaced with a different ilve model which lasts about seven years my inductions cooktop blew up after two weeks was repaired and failed twice then after the… Read more
third failure in two years was replaced with a different brand, and each time the product failed I was without the product for about two months not very happy wouldn't buy the products ever again, replace them with IKEA products lot cheaper and much better.
Ilve Freestanding Induction Oven – Bought in July 2015 and after a few weeks, 2 x Induction Hotplates stopped functioning. Still under warranty so they were replaced. In July 2017, the heavy duty glass top cracked and had to be replaced. Just made the warranty deadline. Next repairs was done in October 2020, faulty oven. past warranty so cost for repair was $110 service + $22… Read more

July 2021, replaced 4 year old glass top cracked again even though Eurolinx rep., stated that this shouldn't happened. The glass is supposed to withstand high heat. At the time I was cooking pasta and the heat was on 7 as opposed to 9 which is the highest. Also, was using the correct induction pot so no reason for any damage to be caused.
To replace we have to pay approximately $1350.00 which includes service and labour.
There is no guarantee it won't happen again. Would NEVER buy an Ilve product again,

Avoid – Have had ilve dual fuel 900 free standing oven for 6 years not third right hand door hinge $$$$ the thing cost 7 k wouldn’t go near another. The expensive rangehood is not much better as the buttons always recess into frame. Looks nice that’s about it. Show details

Uneven heat and door drop – Bought it cause we have what appears to be an indestructible ILVE microwave. It ends there. We have the 900 STCPI which arrived with an oven door not sitting straight. While it was replaced, the second one has some issues that are unacceptable given the price. The door appears to be dropping leaving quite the gap between door and panel. I thought… Read more
it was normal but after looking at pictures I can see it's not, it's dropping from it's own weight. Second, it doesn't bake evenly. That's from day 1 of a brand new oven. We also have the ILVE 120cm stove top, which has issues again from day 1. The gas to the largest element does not light easily, and even if you get it lit after many tries, it doesn't stay lit. The trick is to hold the gas down for about 10 seconds and then keep the flame on low for about a minute, then you can turn it up. Otherwise the flame always dies. I wish I had of complained when we got them but I was too overwhelmed with the reno and everything else. These are not cheap appliances and I feel rather ripped off.

ilve 900mm dual-fuel freestanding cooker - stainless steel oven. OVEN BROKEN AGAIN – Oven purchased a couple of years ago. After warranty expired the selection switch broke has broken twice. All my ilve appliances have had multiple faults – I bought this oven in along with a rangehood, dishwasher and microwave, Straight away the door seal cracked in half and had to be replaced, then the selection switch broke, the elements failed to light, the oven light broke, the thermostat was faulty and all this had to be repaired when the appliance was just out of warranty, Secondly the… Read more
microwave stopped working all together. Now my dishwasher stopped heating up and left the dishes very dirty, I have had a Ilve repairer out to fix it at great expense and it now has a new fault, I've been handwashing my dishes for weeks now, After spending nearly $500 to repair it, it still won't work. And the rangehood switches itself on in the night or whenever it likes, as the buttons are obviously faulty, I hardly ever use it. Collectively I have paid over $1200 in parts and service to repair my ILVE appliances, I have all the receipts, I am so regretting putting Ilve appliances in my new kitchen
Worst company to deal with. Worst ovens ever made – Ilve would have to be the worst people to deal with, they are rude and arrogant. They hung up on me because I was telling them there oven is faulty. They refused to admit it had a problem and Harvey Norman had to give me a new oven, different brand. Stay away from ilve the staff treat you like an animal. There ovens are the worst. They smoke out the house, burn the food, even set my smoke alarms off in my house. Stay away from ilve people. are also disconnected. The gas oven top turns itself off intermittently. This unit looks good and the stainless steel is of a good guality. But as a stove it is rubbish. This will be my last repair session, I have only put up with it this long because my kitchen was built around it and replacement will be a hassle.
Really disappointed – Were very excited to purchase this oven 5 years ago as it looks great. Fortunately took out extended warranty as after 12 months started to have a number of issues including the clock stopping working which caused oven to be inoperable and 5 occasions where the oven selector switch failed. The selector switch issue has now failed again when out of warranty so am awaiting a quote for repair AGAIN I wont be rushing out to buy another Ilve! Show details

Just dont do it – Had to buy this oven as only have width of 70 cm. For the over inflated price, it is a terrible oven, unlike the brilliant Bosch I have in another home. The knobs keep falling off, poor cooking, auto ignition often fails. Hard to clean cooktop (gas) because of gaps. No way can you get pork crackling. recipes state. Had technician twice who says oven correct! Never again. Will ditch for the Bosch even if I have to widen my benches.
ILVE is junk & expensive to repair – I moved into my house 2 years ago, and was impressed with the big ILVE oven. Wow. Fast forward 2 years and nothing but problems. Oven selector switch has now failed THREE times! First 2 repairs (of 1 knob) cost over $300 each! Now it has broken AGAIN (which means the oven does not turn on at all), and I am loathe to spend another $350 to get it… Read more
fixed. $1000 later = half a new oven. (non ILVE, of course) Oven mechanic can't explain how/why the ceramic switch keeps blowing or breaking. He says oven is 'under 10 years old'.
Absolute rubbish – Good looking unit but that's were it ends. Have had multiple issues with the stove top that has been repaired whilst under warranty and yes now its out of warranty so the SAME FAULT is now my problem.....Add to that now the Oven has stopped working so now we start with our costs to repair a supposed "premium" brand that is only 3 years old.... Absolute rubbish. Show details

Ongoing problem – The control knobs on the unit have little decals stuck on rather than a permanent 'engraving'. Despite being meticulous about not using solvents; yes, we are not to clean the stove with solvents!, the decals start to flake and come off. The solution for poor old Winnings is to keep replacing the plastic knobs. We've had it for less than 2 years… Read more

Countless problems! – This oven is a shocker. Was in the home we purchased and one of the reasons we bought the house - thinking it was going to be a great oven. In the 4.5 years we have been in our home, we have had the seal replaced three times, one of the elements blew out and had to be fixed. The oven control knob fuses have burnt out twice, the handle has fallen… Read more
off twice and the clock no longer works - we were told this was going to cost over $300 to fix. I would never buy Ilve based on our experience. Oven seal is again broken and I am going to head out to buy a Westinghouse this week. Such a difference between the brand message and the actual product!

May look good when its new but don't be fooled by the style – Terrible after sales support and when out of warranty, this product is incredible expensive to service. $110 to turn up and $35 for every 15 minutes... who is taking the hell out of the consumer? The oven has worked well for 6 years but going forward, I would stay away from this product. This is also difficult to clean. Show details
Extremely dissatisfied – Igniters not working Seal broken Flame not staying on Thermo not functioning Extremely disappointed considering this is our 2nd Ilve . Would recommend not purchasing as it is expensive to service once out of warranty. At 6k you would expect a little more wear out of it and some durability.. My advice to anyone looking to purchase ....Don’t buy!! Nothing but trouble.... Show details
A beautiful dud – Our ILVE is around 8 years old. So far we have had 6 visits (yes 6) to repair the gas top ignition system. The latest fix selected by the highly trained technician was using electrician ties to stabilize the… Read more

Today I was told that I need to replace the oven door hinges and the oven function selection switch. Incredible as the oven has been rarely used.
I would never buy an ILVE and I think I will find it cost effective to replace the ILVE as the parts and labor for the oven repairs is going to be in the same ballpark as buying a different device.
Falling apart after warranty (to be expected) – Generally speaking the oven does what it is required to do which is cook the food, however it fails to live up to the image and standards Ilve presents. Just after the warranty expired we lost the turbo booster which heats the oven to desired temp in 10 minutes. Months later the electric ignition has failed on one gas hot plate, another month… Read more
passes and another one fails until we have now have half of them not working and requiring a full service. It is disappointing that we have to write this review and would I buy another one. No.
I can't believe with all the negative reviews online that Ilve continue to have the arrogance to not warrant other reviewers problems which should last 10+ years.
My NT906WMPW Oven not working – My 3 year old Ilve oven has stoped working, I dread to see how much this is going to be to repair after reading questions to Ilve.. hinges twice, seals and 3 igniters that required the oven to be taken out so we had to remove kick boards etc. Everything that has broken was all after the warranty ended. for the price paid it's not an exceptionally great oven to cook with either. I will never purchase an Ilve oven again
Cooktop glitchy – We purchased the over about 4 years ago. We have always found the electric stove top a little fiddly to turn on. But almost the day after the warranty ran out half of the burners stopped working all together. Out of our 6 possible burns, only 1 works consistently. Feeling disappointed! Show details

Not as Great as Expected – I believed that this product was the best on the market. It's good but I think you could buy a much cheaper version and get very similar results. We have the tepanyaki plate and that is great but I think the Ilve freestanding cooker is vastly overpriced for what it does. In hindsight, I probably would have purchased a Westinghouse or some other brand that is 1/3 of the price. Show details
Poor design if your taller than 1 metre – The actual cooking function of both the oven and cook top are great. The issues that annoy the user are the dials are under a metal lip and can't be viewed by standing at the stove. You have to bend down and step back to look at which knob you need to operate. The ignition system is adhoc at best and we generally resort to a gas lighter to start the cook top. Show details
Very bad, worse than terrible, wouldn't even give it 1 * – we have had our cooker for 6 years, during that time we have had 3 new oven switches installed as they keep melting. the last visit cost us over $600 with call out parts & labor. The switch is plastic and therefore melts. So we can either use the gas ring on the right and keep having a melted switch or not use one of the rings. AS others have… Read more
mentioned it bellows out hot air therefore isn't really able to be used during the hot weather. For the price we paid i think we were ripped off. we had an issue with the door and unfortunately had it fixed the day before we went away. Upon our return the days after we got back the same thing happened. As it was over the 3 month period Ilve weren't the slightest bit interested as out warranty had expired, even though we could prove that we had been out of the country were not very helpful at all. certainly would warn people against buying one or any of the Ilve range.
we also were not told that a special model was on sale at Harvey Norman and therefore didn't get all the features we were looking for, we thought that we were buying the model of the brochure we were given, it turns out that we missed out on some of the features that were in the brochure.
I wish I had read this before buying – I live in Qld and there is hot air pumping into the kitchen from this stove. We have used it twice since buying it last month as it makes the kitchen so hot. How ridiculous. Both times the fan ran for an hour or more afterwards. The constant pumping hot air also renders the knobs, which operate the rest of the stove, inoperable as they are… Read more

Clearly this oven doesn't work and I will have to get the technician back. The heat belching out of it at 140 degrees is absurd. The chicken I cooked was smoking. The house alarm system activated 3 times. There is no way to tell what the actual temperature is as the light never changes. It stays on from 250 to 0 degrees.
My once red cooking tray is now black. This is from a temperature of 160 reduced to 140.

Cavity cooling fan - gah! – We have a PW80MPSS electric oven and the 'cavity cooling fan' pours out hot air for almost an hour after turning off the oven.
