Best customer service I’ve ever experienced. So refreshing to be able to actually talk to a human being these days!
I honestly don’t understand where all of these negative reviews are coming from. I’ve been dealing with them for nearly 7 years now and I’ve had nothing but amazing customer service every time I’ve called. My claims are always paid promptly and I’m still hung up on how ridiculously simple the claiming process is (just snapping a photo of a receipt on the app and hitting submit). I’ve always had my call answered promptly and spoken to someone genuine and knowledgeable.
I’m currently pregnant and on the phone with them all the time asking quest...ions and they’ve always been transparent and so helpful. I’m struggling to work out what my gap is going to be at a public hospital for childbirth, and they’ve just offered to call them for me and work it out directly with them. It sucks enough having to go from free universal healthcare to paying for medical care (sorry Australia but you’re ridiculously expensive), it’s nice to know I can trust my private health insurer. I’ve come from Canada where customer service is held at a super high standard, and I can honestly say their customer service and user friendly platform surpasses any other business I’ve dealt with (In any industry, not just in healthcare). I could go on, but please just take those narrow minded negative reviews with a grain of salt. Not enough people are inclined to write about their positive experiences and that’s such a shame.
Grow up!! Change your system
I don’t know why you guys can’t improve yourself . Paying my overdue amount it is annoying to pay with you guys on phone . They don’t have any consistent way. Guys grow up don’t rely on the machines all the time

They never like to pay your claim. They keep giving you silly excuses for not paying your claim. It took months to get paid my claim, it was nightmare. I was calling to call center, but everyone acted stupid to me. No one gave me idea how to fix my problem. They do everything to avoid pay your claim. If you need to waste your time and spoil your nervous system you can enroll in.

I've had a very bad, frustrating and energy consuming experience with them. They constantly come up with more requests of information to avoid paying the claim (covered within my plan). After submitting every single document, invoice and files the hostpital had on me from the day of the accident, they start coming up with excuses saying the invoice needs to be broken up even more (there was nothing else to add to that breakup invoice...). They've asked for things that didn't exist and that clearly the hospital wouldn't have...even as the hospit...al was helping me out and provided every file they had on me...still not enough. It's a waste of money after you've paid for so long for a so called 'medical coverage service' thinking you will be covered in the event of an accident to then finding out that they'll put you through hell before paying back what's entitled to your coverage...In my case never saw a dime refunded to me...Dodgy company with overseas call centres of people who don't care about your health or plan coverage. IMAN NIB is just a money making machine scam taking advantage of people.

Claim never responded. Dont reply any emails. Even though continue follow they make excuses. I have been with them for 2 years but when it comes to claim, never got my refund.
They always say that the scan of the receipt is not eligible, even though the scan is PERFECT. ABSOLUTELY CROOKS! This is atrocious, I do not suggest hiring their services.

As an international visitor, I have their cover with my family. I pay about $280 a month for health insurance. They will direct debit the amount all right, but when it comes to paying me for any claims I have made, 10/10 times the picture always blurs, I have tried using different phones, but never works. and that actually worked for them very well, because I will be annoyed as hell and won't even bother to claim it back. And by the way, if you want to give them a call, have a movie handy, you will be halfway through by the time they receive your call... What absolute rubbish...

Worst service from MRS pepper
The service is lacking. Your staff needs more training and knowledge about what they are doing. When i spoke to MRS Pepper over the phone she doesn't know how to deal with the client and doesn't have common sense at all. She doesn't know what she is speaking and what can be done to provide better customer service. Myself working in customer service for 9 years never had such a terrible experience which i found while speaking with IMAN staff MRS Perrer.
Wouldn't recommend anyone at all.
Worst experience. When it’s a time for them to provide service back during my pregnancy for what I was paying them, Operator suggested and asked to cancel policy indirect way!!
Can't even give there customer there insurance card.
I'm waiting to get my card insurance since December 2018. Every email I sent them they asked me to wait 10 - 14 business days but I still didn't get the card. I've reuqested multiple times online for a card this also isn't working. It's been 4 months now !
They do not do any of their job, while they are blaming others.
I have been having the worst experience with them. I claimed my ambulance and hospital treatment fee with receipt first, and a lady said I have to send Invoice otherwise they won't pay me back. So, I sent them the Invoice and recept again even though the lady did not mentioned about it. After a month, I noticed that they paid the money to the hospital. I called them again and what another lady said was because I send Invoice only for the second claim, they thought I haven't paid to the hospital..... First of all, I did. If they could not see fr...om second one for some reasons, they should see the Invoice from my first claim at least. The thing was, it was the beginning of my worst and long experience with them. What the lady did to me was gave me a wrong document and let me call to the hospital... I don't want to mention each single things what other people have done after this... It took me and a generous lady from the busy hospital more than 5 months with too many long calls to fix this simple stupid error end up with my first voice raising after a long patient period. Moreover, thisbis not the end of the story. After a little while, they sent me an email of pay raise of my monthly payment for them. Of course I did seek better and cheaper company to go with. The new company did everything to transfer the cover for me. Then I have got a call from them asking my detail first even though they contacted me and asked me why I leave them. Well, I told the lady what happened in a calm manner, but she still kept offering me another year. I tried to be calm but not sure I did when I said "I don't think so" then the lady turned to be a bit rude to said bye to me and hung up the phone. After half a month, I received an email from the new company that because my old insurance company does not gave them a transfer certificate, even though they have been asking for it quite few times, they are not able to cover me. What the hell they are doing ??? or not doing????!!!!! My another long fight will start next Monday.....
Poor Customer Service and zero benefit
I have been with them for 2 years. Very poor customer service. They frequently blame their system for not allowing them to do anything. As if the systems are controlling the humans working for them. Machine controlling Man, lol. You have to wait for a very long time to get someone on the call. And if they call you back they even tell you how long they spent on the phone talking to you. Wouldn't recommend to it.
Worst Health Insurance Company Ever
These guys have the worst customer service team ever, they are only quicker in collecting premiums in all other aspects they are keep on delaying postponing things, doesnt give proper information or response. Things are delayed for days. Refund process and Team are Worsttttttt. Their premiums are bit less than other guys but dont think of few dollars and get into their spider web, later you will regret.

Overall decline in service
Approximately 4 years ago, when I joined IMAN it was an awesome insurer for work visa holders. Although the entire service has deteriorated, thus it’s not worth spending your money and time dealing with their appalling service. For e.g Slow processing of premium, customer service support do not answer your calls, replies to emails are non specific and not to the point.
Questions & Answers
If I want to dispute a claim which they reject, is there any Ombudsman or Government agency whom I can write to? I asked this from IMAN but they refused to provide this to me. Told me that I could look it up myself. Thank you.
