Excellent air purifier
Have bought this air purifier back in 2015. Still works at 100%. Is on 24/7. I’m allergic to dust and have hay fever and asthma, this has been a huge help in breathing properly and getting a good nights sleep from airborn allergies. Uses a prefilter which last 6 months, a medical grade hepa filter that last between 3-5 years and the carbon filter which lasts about 3 years. Has 20 speeds and can be loud on highest setting but is also very quiet on the lower setting for sleeping. The prefilter works very well, after 6 month’s when you replace it, you’ll see how much dirt it captures. Is made with high quality materials hence the price.

compared to others, this is a beast!
Been searching around internet for air purifier and nearly decided to get a Dyson until I found inovaair E20 plus. I look on their reviews and both have a good reputations. Of course, if you are going to spend big bucks on these products it should be the materials they use as your basis before buying. I decided to get inova air, aside from it's made in Australia, the quality is high. The weight of this is a good indications of how much material they use and I tell you, it will make the Dysons or other brands like a toy. After using it for 3 mo...nths, average of 11 hrs a day, at medium settings, I can say, it improves the air inside our house. My sneezing have been reduce dramatically while using it and it's not even on full blast. It's not cheap, but you get what you paid for. Note to buyers that the noise level of this is different from your normal fan, it's the way air filter works.

Best air purifiers on the market. And a great Aussie company.
As above. Kept our large living room smelling and feeling crystal clean throughout the bushfire season and has significantly improved my allergy symptoms. Shelley from Inova Customer Service is extremely helpful, attentive and knowledgeable, and always happy to help with queries promptly. Cannot recommend the product enough + service, great example of a Great Aussie company.

I moved to Norther NSW awhile back and had a huge problem with allergies. My immunologist recommended a hepa filtered air purifier and after looking on the internet for this company. Even though it was a bit expensive and I was a bit dubious that it would help it was a small price for the relief I had immediately. If I started feeling an attack coming on I would turn on the filter and sit directly in front of it and within minutes I was again back to normal. Asthma, hives and sneezing were gone. Back in Vic I had severe bushfire asthma and this again was a lifesaver. When people are sick on the house I feel much more at ease knowing this is reducing transmission of germs too. Definitely money well spent.
Excellent to clean air.
Bought it during the smoke from bushfires. Had a smaller one but it wasn’t on wheels. This is easy to move around and very efficient. Also have used to move air around in hot weather.

I love this Australian Made + Owned Air Filter
We have had out E20 air filter for over 12 months now. My mum has purchaed one and now two of my friends have purchased one. This company is amazing and I have dealt with the owner Shelley on numnerous ocassions as she has had to field many questions from me regarding the capabilities of the filter. It is unbelieveable how much dust this machine sucks in! We unfortunatley have a dusty home and this has been a game changer. With a product that works, is high quality, Aussie made and owned... and with an owner who is patient, kind and helpful - you cannot go wrong! Highly recommend! For mould, smoke, dust - and even viruses and just to have clean air! Worth the money. Oh and no cheap plastic components!

Too expensive and filter lasted only one month
I bought this DE20 because it was advertised to last a long time before needing to change filters. However, just after using for a month, the filter needs changing. It started to smell funny. I contacted them and was told it's based on usage. I live in a small apartment and rarely cook, I don't have pets and I clean everyday so I cannot understand why my filters need changing after a month of usage. Granted, I live next to the main road, but still, one month seems far fetched when filters cost $600 to replace.
I was told if I buy the filters a...

What a beast !
Purchased this to the bushfire smoke that engulfed Canberra for much of this summer. The company bent over backwards to deliver this, as it arrived at least two weeks before I was expecting it. So hats off to them.
Compared with the temporary purifier which I'd bought initially, it's a super solid piece of kit. I get the impression that it will last many years.
The staff were super helpful when I rang them.
On stinking out days, I typically used it in conjunction with my reverse cycle ducted, and stuck the unit just below the return air, so...that the clean air is pushed into the return air and then out my 4 ducts. This seems to work pretty well. When I went to work, I'd take it downstairs and stick in the hallway. The only downside is that it is noisy, especially on high setting. However, I think it has to be in order to pull in all the air.I should also qualify that by saying that I am a very light sleeper, my wife's breathing wakes me up so I am sensitive to noise at the best of times.

Excellent air purifier for bushfire smoke
I purchased the E20 for my house to reduce the risk of exposure to bushfire smoke, particularly for my two children. I purchased the E20 to complement the E8 unit which I also purchased to address the air quality throughout my entire house as I live in an area badly affected by bushfire smoke. I mainly run the E20 in the living areas and the smaller E8 unit near bedrooms of my house at night, but also during the day when the smoke is a problem. I have decided to leave a review because the E20 is excellent for removing fine particulate and the ...smell associated with smoke. To deal with the smoke risk I was previously using a reverse cycle air conditioner on recirculate and a Dyson purifier but being an engineer I wanted to test the fine particulate measures using an air quality measurement tool and found that I was still exposing my family to dangerous fine particulate. That is when I decided to purchase a proper air purifier and after extensively researching the market I purchased the E20 for my living areas and the E8 for bedrooms and couldn’t be happier because it has reduced the level of fine particulate to a safe level and removed the smell as well. Also as an engineer I am very impressed with the design and build quality, not too often these days to get a product manufactured in Australia.

Fixed my asthma and dusty apartment air
I have severe asthma at home and at work. Hits hardest at night when trying to sleep.
I've picked this purifier today and within hours I have seen an amazing improvement in my breatheability. I haven't used a puffer and my airway feels relaxed for the first time indoors in decades.
It's got an incredible lineup of features. I've posted the chart with my other photo of the E20 Plus.
It has what's appears to be commercial filtration including Hepa13 (hospital grade+), with two other filters that I can see. Two of the three filters have a 5 year life. It's sealed, lightweight metal construction and wheels around. It's got a dial at the back and on low settings I can't hear it. Perfect coverage of 100m2.

Average for price
I purchased this air purifier after a lot of research to remove the musty smell from my bedroom/reduce smoke that comes into our house from the neighbours. It does work to remove some smells but it adds it's own smell into the room which I can't stand. It's a sweet heavy smell not fresh air as others have suggested. This has happened from day 1 (had it for 6 months now) and I can't sleep with it on because I wake up feeling sick from the stuffy smell. Apparently this is due to the 'carbon filter'. At this point some nights I'd prefer to have th...e smokey smell than the filter smell. Although I believe it works to remove the smoke, this smell and the fact that I wake up feeling more allergic after using it compared to when I sleep with the windows open, I don't think it's worth the money! I'm annoyed that I didn't see any other reviews like this and had high hopes based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews I read. I hope this helps someone to reconsider spending the money if they are chosing between a few purifyers.

I believe that this product helped heal my daughter's Asthma.
My daughter had Asthma when we bought the InovaAir AirClean E20 Plus in October 2016. We supported our daughter with GP prescribed natural supplements and installed the AirClean in our upstairs hallway, after having taken it through the house a few times in different areas. When we first turned it on, it was like fresh mountain air had taken over. Quite incredible. The unit runs 24/7. At night we turn it down to the lowest setting and during the day we ramp it up and open the windows of the house to let fresh air in. The noise level at night is...very comfortable - minimal, you can hardly hear it. Within a few months, my daughter's Asthma cleared completely. I personally subscribe this to the InovaAir AirClean E20, perhaps in combination with the natural supplements my daughter takes. I use all 3 filters (6kg Carbon Inner + H13 HEPA Outer + the white pre-filter on the outer edge), and when I swap the pre-filter every 6-12 months orso, it is PACKED with grey dust. I am yet to reach the point where the inside filters need swapping, that only needs to be done very 3-5 years. Well done InovaAir! I stand for their product. Besides this, the customer service has been more then excellent. Truly a great company, great product, and great team. Thank you & God bless. -- Roel Van de Paar Small update one year later; still super super happy with this product. The poor reviews on this website seem to all be addressed properly by the company, and sometimes the writers of those reviews seem to be mistaken in their understanding of the filter system. We have 3x E20's now, and love it. Yes, the filters are a bit more pricey, but it is well worth it. Also great after support. User note; the front vent may get a little brownish staining on it (approximately under the logo, bit to the right hand side, small area about the size of 2-3 fingers), after a fair bit of use or after bushfires or when using in a very dusty area. This is normal and it is NOT unclean air coming from within the product. There is a small dead spot at the front of the vent where less air discharges. The discolouration is caused by particles/dirt in the ambient air coming into contact with the vent in this section. It can be cleaned off with a mild detergent and a toothbrush. It typically only occurs where there are high dust loads present in the environment where the system is used. Whilst uncommon, if you have a high dust load, you may see this. Nothing to worry about. Again, I can VERY highly recommend this product, especially for people with dust sensitives, rashes, asthma etc.

I suffer for Hayfever for the last 10 years.. Every spring my face and my eye swell.. Its terrible..
Recently, someone recommended me to try air purifier.. After some research I found innovaair. Its just like magic, after a few days I bought the innovaair I let it runs for 24hours.. My Hayfever symptom all gone..
This air purifier is my savior. I have 2 units now 1 is the E8 for my room another e20 for living room.
I highly recommend this unit for Hayfever sufferer.
E20 AirClean the best air cleaner but!!
No doubt this air purifier does as it is intended. After six years of using the E20 it is has been excellent. The only down side is the cost of the pre filter at $50 a pop they only last 3 months in my case. I would suggest that this is their life in any situation an air purifier is deemed necessary in spite of the manufactures claim of 6 months. I am looking for an alternative pre filter material to make my own as their is a limited market for a third party to manufacturer to make and market as such.

Purchased the E20 and absolutely love it. Great quality unit, all steel construction and long life filters. The air smells really clean and I am definitely sneezing much less. At first I found it a little loud at night but I got used to it after only a couple of nights and now hardly notice it. It actually makes my tinnitus less bothersome as it is a really gentle ‘white noise’. Am going to move this unit into the living room and buy two smaller E7 units for the bedroom.
Life changing purchase. This review is for the DE20 plus, same machine as E20, just electronic cont
After developing respiratory problems that were worsening but for which no cause could be determined by my doctors eg. no allergies detected,I decided to investigate the usefulness of air filters in helping to at least halt the deterioration of my health.
i looked into various options at department stores but found little evidence of efficacy, also the high cost of consumables and concerns regarding availability parts and service in the future put me off making an impulsive decision.
A quick google led me to Inova Air, an Aussie owned company...
I dont have allergies but certainly a dusty house and have bought a couple of air purifiers that were highly recommend from store and they did very little.
I stumbled upon inova air purifiers and purchased one recently and it actually works.
Early days but impressed with how effective it is.
Certainly not cheap but i think well worth it.

Best air purifier on the market
After doing very thorough research and getting a recommendation from a healthcare professional I trust I was led to the InovaAir AirClean E20. I am so pleased I took the time to do the research as the product that was recommended to me at a leading household whitegoods store doesn't even do the job that it is supposed to as an air purifier. The InovaAirClean E20 is without doubt the best product on the market. Within an hour of setting it up in my room I could notice what a difference it had made to the air quality and noticed a significant red...uction in symptoms overnight. The team at InovaAir are clearly the experts when it comes to air purifiers, their passion and knowledge when it comes to improving indoor air quality is second to none, and they have thought of absolutely everything to develop a product that is non-toxic and low EMF. I can't recommend the InovaAirClean E20 highly enough

A great solid and efficient unit
An excellent and well built unit. Has made a big difference to my home in a coal city. Now it's nearly 4 years old, the only thing I've done is to replace the pre-filters each 6 months as recommended and with an occasional vacuum of the exterior. It is clearly working efficiently as you can see the dust the filters have collected. The unit runs all the time on a medium speed - in my living area it is mostly not noticeable. A solid unit that works efficiently. My hay-fever has improved and the house smells fresh. Excellent!

Life changing product!
Was a bit of skeptic when it came to air purifiers but decided to give it a go on recommendation from a friend who already owns one. I initially purchased the E8 system for my daughter’s bedroom as she is asthmatic and we live close to Sydney CBD so the air quality isn’t great. The difference it made was incredible, her reliance on medication has reduced significantly. A month later we purchased the E20 Plus and this system is now covering the rest of our apartment. We can also see less dust on our furnishings, the air has a noticeable fresher smell, it’s hard to explain but our apartment doesn’t feel as stuffy and has lost that "Urban, city smell". Overall a great Aussie company to deal with, couldn’t be happier!
Questions & Answers
how much are replacement filters?
Rather expensive. $50 for the pre-filter that lasts 6months. $195 for the carbon filter which lasts between 3 - 5 years and $295 for the hepa filter which also lasts between 3 to 5 years
Hi Npocto, unlike store bought or plastic systems with synthetic filters, our air purifier filters have a lifespan of up to 3-4 times longer due to quality & capacity of the filter media (medical-grade H13 & kilograms of carbon), pre-filters are $50, H13 medical-grade HEPA 3-5 years $295 & 6 kilograms of activated carbon $195. Regards InovaAir.
I just bought the InovaAir 8. I can’t unlatch the locks on the sides. Any hints?
Thanks for your question. The latches can be tight when new as they have internal springs which keep tension on the filter seals. Just behind the curved section of the latch you can insert a flat item such as a flat screwdriver, push outwards and the latch will open. Let us know if you have any further questions. The quickest way to reach customer service is direct through the contact page on our site: https://inovaairpurifiers.com.au/pages/contact-us .
I decide to purchase E8, the small unit, for my office 25sqm which has so much dust. I can't shut my office' door as many people coming and going. Is that any benefit of buying this with not an isolated room?
