Go for GOLD – The policy was easy to set-up and is reasonably priced given that it covers for some pre-existing conditions. My travel hasn't started yet so cannot say about claim, however I surely hope and trust that any claim will be as easy as buying the policy. This is my second time I bought policy with InsureandGo. Cant travel without it – Having a Pre existing medical condition it is hard to find travel insurance that gives me full cover which you do. The only thing is it is very costly I could have another holiday on what it cost ,my sister is 12 months younger and only pays not even half as much as I do. I have not had to make a claim in all the years I have been traveling there needs to be some loyalty program if you do not make a claim. This is my 5th policy with you. Show details

re; failed to honour claim – our claim for refund as a result of covid 19 was refused despite purchasing insurance product in Dec 2019 and clearly stating in the policy we would be covered for an epidemic. Grounds for refund were inappropriate (it was not listed Smart Traveller as the restriction came in on the day of travel). would not recommend at all Show details

Absolute scam – I purchased the highest possible insurance to cover everything on my trip including extras. If i could give these guys 0 stars i would. They were not helpful on the phone or via email when my trip got cancelled. I lost a fair amount of money due to a number of different reasons. They never did. I then emailed through a formal process with all the proof they needed. They then stated they would not cover me due to a particular clause that was only partially related to my cancellation. I took it higher and got the exact same response. I dont normally post but the disorganisation and their inability to be personable and helpful was very upsetting during a stressful time. I will be going to an external company to process this complaint.

Fantastic experience so far – I have recently lodged a claim on my policy and found the service excellent. They were reasonable with requests for information. Payouts were made on the items I had receipts for only. There were some that had no receipts so no payment. Show details
