Small kibble size but very high in quality – When we introduced our dog to this product for the first time he LOVED it from the moment he first smelled it before gobbling it up! The ingredients seem to be of a very high quality (it even smells like 'real' food!), and we've noticed he seems happier, more energetic, has no digestive issues with this food and even his coat seems shinier!

My only negative would be that he's a big guy (Bull Arab), and even though the packaging says for adult dogs, the kibble pieces seemed way too small for him. Like they are sized for a puppy.

I would buy this again, but as it's more expensive than other similar higher quality brands I would not feed him on this all the time. It would be a once in a while / treat meal. Highly recommended!

it, she often quickly gets sick of her dry food and really drags our eating it but when we started giving her this dry food she was happy to eat it every-time and ate it all very quickly! We even put it in her dog feeder for when we were away overnight and we normally fine gone to food left over in her bowl but with this she had eaten it all!

We did not notice any adverse reactions in her however we had trialled the wet food in this brand first so I’m not sure if that was enough to adjust her stomach to the dry food. I like that this product contains so many healthy natural ingredients and it felt like I was giving her a very high quality product.

We could not figure out what had caused the illness!

For the past two weeks he has been progressively losing weight despite eating, and has had increased drinking and urination.

Finally able to get him into the vets today as an emergency when he became lethargic and stopped eating completely (had booked him in for an appointment a week ago, but the first available appointment was going to be tomorrow).

He has a new diagnosis of diabetes and is in acute diabetic ketoacidosis. So, his pancreatic insulin producing cells have failed. Most likely due to the recurrent pancreatitis, which the vets now believe is likely due to the Ivory Coat dog food changing its formulation. They have now seen severe illness in dogs many times over the preceding year or so.

I feel awful and that I have been poisoning my dog!!!

Please, please, please DO NOT feed this to your dog!!!

It used to be a great product, but it is now pure poison!!!

This needs to be removed from the market!!!

Edit (30/12/22): with great sorrow I inform that my beautiful boy passed away on the 27th of December 2022. I still am in denial that he is gone. And I feel.so guilty that I hadn't been aware of the change in formulation and all the problems with Ivory Coat. The change is formulation completely corresponds to when he first started having intermittent bouts of pancreatitis. I can only think that the reason he lasted for nearly a year since the first attack was due to the fact that I wasn't exclusively feeding him this kibble, but also wet food as well. The ONLY thing that changed was the formulation of Ivory Coat.

There are NO enforceable standards for dog food in Australia. It's all self-regulated and self monitored.

This needs to change.

Great dog food! A great brand! – I received this product from Ivory Coat to review. We loved this product and love the healthy ingredients and the fact that it is grain free. My dog ate this dry mixed with some wet food from ivory coat too but also really enjoys the biscuits on their own. They don’t smell and are easy to store. My dog enjoyed it – My dog (a Bischoodle) is a picky eater. At first he was quick and more than happy to eat this chicken flavour dry food. But after a week, he started leaving more than half the serving in the bowl. He does eventually finish it when he realises nothing else is being served up. loved the chicken dry food – My Cavalier absolutely demolished the chicken kibble.
