went back to the store and explained the issue, expecting them to at least recheck their work. Instead, they just pointed to an alignment printout and said everything was “100% correct,” blaming the camber without offering any real explanation.
I asked for a second check, but they refused unless I paid an extra $150 for a new inspection — even though I had just done a full inspection at another mechanic 5 days earlier, and the car was driving fine before this service.
They introduced a problem and now expect me to pay more just to investigate it. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to others.

I called once I ordered and again spoke to [Name Removed] and said the wheels are ordered and could I book for the following Saturday. He asked again what sort of car I had (no problem, no one can be expected to remember every single customer) and I said I30N. He again said, Oh, an i30 and I had to correct him again and say i30N (I'm not making this up, their calls are recorded). When I got notification that the wheels were onboard for delivery I phoned to let them know. [Name Removed] again asked what sort of car I had (repeat above) but this time it seemed to be sinking in and he asked what size tire I had. 245/35 19" and [Name Removed] replied oh rubber bands? I arrived at opening time Saturday as requested and being I was 10 minutes early, another staff member said it would take about an hour so I went off to grab a coffee. I missed at call around 8:15 and called back and [Name Removed] said, you didn't tell me the wheels were like this. I'm going to have to take extra care and it will take longer. Well I did tell him the car, several times and even the rubber size. As to the extra care, don't you take extra care with all customers? I got the impression he didn't want to do the job as he then said the price will now be double, possibly hoping I would say don't worry about it. I said go ahead and he said it would be another hour. It was not ready until 11am. [Name Removed] even tried to gaslight me by telling me the correct wheels were 18" and he seemed entirely unconvinced when I told him I owned the car since new and they were 19". Edit: just received an email from the supplier that the wheel nuts were not included and note, i had confirmed with them twice they were included. The first time I took it over 60km per hour, I had a bad shudder on the wheel at 80-90k which then returned at 110K. I phone them to advise and the woman who answered begrudging said, urgh, I suppose we'll have to get you for another balancing and that I would be called. I received no call. I couldn't leave my car they was it was, so I managed to get into another tire shop who when I called, knew what an i30N was. When I got the report back, they told me it was one of the worst jobs they had seen. Only one wheel was balanced and all 4 wheels were not aligned. I suppose if you have an unregistered paddy basher, take it to Jax Coffs Harbour, but if you have a decent car, or want the job done right, do not go there. Unprofessional, lack of knowledge, dodgy workmanship.

My experience was incredibly frustrating. I strongly advise anyone to take their car elsewhere.
The only reason they're receiving one star is that they eventually rectified the issue a week later. This rectification only happened after I pointed out that the DOT number on the tyre they mistakenly removed matched my car's records, proving it was indeed the wrong one. Although the issue was ultimately resolved, the initial incompetence and lack of communication resulted in a subpar customer experience.
*Edit* Customer service is even more incompetent than the workers! They wonder why I drove away when my tyre was leaking, but they had worked on it and pumped up every tyre to 44 PSI i thought that would be obvious... They tried to blame me when I didn't have a car all weekend and was emailing them on days off, so why would I email them

My wife attended Taree branch Saturday 21/6/25 to have four tyres fitted.. On completion she was advised that the wheel covers were "loose" and were left for her inside the car, These covers have never been loose since purchasing from Supercheap Autu Taree about 2 years ago. Follow-up · About the post service I'll say you need to keep the wheels clean all the time with proper wheel cleaner. Also avoid bumps on high speed. Do not use hursh chemicals to clean the wheels. picked the car up,they said the engine noise was due to something that needed dealer replacement. Once at the dealer it took them ten minutes to say that the noise was due to piston failure and detonation, which was verified by a third, specialist mechanic. This would mean an engine rebuild. Jax has taken no responsibility for the failure of their mechanic to pick this up, and save me the cost of service, battery, etc. If you need tyres or just an oil change they’re probably okay, but don’t go there if you need a diagnostic mechanic. Extremely disappointing.
Follow-up · The better approach would have been for the mechanic to say up front that the engine noise was caused by something that required the dealer to deal with, and to not undertake any work until that had been done. That would have saved me $1000.

They will refuse a refund and tell you they have spent enough time informing you of absolutely nothing.
As soon as you mention having proof and taking it further they will cave, offer a refund and state it does not mean they are taking any liability.
A VERY long story short, I was having major safety issues with my car and Mark promised to have a good look before doing any work in vain, after chatting about ALL the concerns/issues.
At the end, Mark, told me with hand gestures, my tyre was apparently like \ and was now like | and it “SHOULD” be ok… When confusingly repeating“it SHOULD be ok”?
He then told me that my type of vehicle was a “square/box”classed type, and when you drive it in the left lane it will veer to the left, and apparently if you get into the right lane which he recommended NOT doing, as it would apparently veer to the right… Turns out I paid for a Joke, nothing else.
The car was given back to me in an undisclosed, unsafe condition. They couldn’t even reset the steering wheel properly after whatever they did. They do not know what they are doing here at all.
