My mini Schnauzer, Tiki arrived safely in New Zealand from Australia yesterday. Throughout the process I found the Jetpet staff very professional. I received regular text messages and emails, a pre flight photo and report card. Tiki was happy and well when I picked him up, showing no signs of anxiety. I would fully recommend using Jetpets' services.
Plenty of updates, including photos and reports great communication from all the team, seem less and easy, Simone helped every step of the way, from first enquire to collection, very happy with outcome.
Very disappointed with the poor representation of Jetpets (Qantas) at Hobart, TAS.
Very disappointed with the Hobart pickup, Jetpets was not represented at all. I received no information if my animals were safe well after the flight had landed. I endured a 50 minute wait with no information before I could see my animals. I requested information and was ignored. They didn't bother to tell me there was a further delay due to the 'laziness' of biosecurity not bothering to make an appearance to check my bird's documentation. This further fuelled my anxiety and grief unsure if my animals had survived the flight. My animals flew via Qantas which should be well renowned for great service!

Entire experience was faultless and went exactly to plan. Took the hard work out of it. Amazing service from first enquiry to pet pick up at home, to pick up in Paris! Their professionalism, perfect record, long experience, information, accessibility, communication, warm staff, efficiency, attention to detail was beyond expectation. We felt immediate confidence our pets were important to them and they were certainly well cared for. What was exceptional was their genuine passion and love for the animals and what they do. Jetpet was great!
We used Jetpets to send our Frenchie Poppy both to and from Australia for Radiation Therapy. At all times Emily Wilkinson my contact with Jetpet Australia was fantastic, she was always professional and answered any correspondence quickly. Dr Simon the Brisbane Jetpets vet was amazing too and he even took the time out from his holiday to answer any questions or requests about Poppy's travel home. The team was awesome. The only reason I haven't given a 5 star is that I got a rather rude woman when I phoned the main Jetpets line and asked for Emil...y thinking it was the number to her department, but was told very abruptly that it wasn't and that (this woman) was too busy to wait for me to take 2 seconds to find my referral number and was very unhelpful. However, if needed I would definitely use Jetpets again and recommend to others. Thanks!
Terrific service by terrific people
I was very anxious about moving with our 2 cats and 2 dogs from Western Australia to New Zealand, not just the cost and how it would all 'work', but how my fur babies would cope and react in both the short and term.
I spoke with all the usual suspects' both of whom horrified me with their hidden costs and overall "feel".
However, from the moment I emailed and then had a telephone conversation with the JetPet's team, I knew we would all be in safe hands.

Appalling service. Puppy not booked on flight. Terrible communication. No apology
I drove for over 4 hours to put a 10 and a half week puppy on a plane to its new owner because Jetpets couldn't guarantee a crate at the nearest airport. I asked for directions for puppy dropoff (I Have flown horses and dogs around the world before) and was not given any. Arrived at airport before time, had hassle trying to find correct check in for pets and when someone finally turned up it transpired puppy was not booked on any flight! Took almost an hour to sort out. No apologies from jetpets. Do not use!

Jetpets made everything easy from the beginning to the end.
I was provided with a quote immediately. As this is something I have never experienced or know anyone who have transported their pets. They were amazing in answering questions over the phone and via email.
The service was amazing, we organised for my pet to be picked up, I was notified once they were picked up and was sent a link allowing me to keep track of their flight. I was notified once they landed.
It was also great to hear that they are inspected by their vets prior and after...flight. My two cats and dog were not stressed or startled about the whole experience, which was great to see. Now they are home resting and getting to know their new place. Much more relaxed to know when I send my pet bird over that they are in good hands.
Hobart to Adelaide
I was incredibly nervous about flying my Golden Retriever and cat from Hobart to Adelaide as it was not a direct flight. Jetpets took the worry out of everything. They provided me with photos and an update during my pets comfort break in Melbourne. They arrived on time and healthy and happy. I would not hesitate using Jetpets again and have happily recommended them to others. Thanks again Jetpets. Dougal and Molly have settled in to their new life in Adelaide.

The following post is a really long recap of my experience with JetPets with the key takeaways being the following:
1.) JetPets consistently treated my dog as a number/object instead of a living creature.
2.) The travel consultant that I was assigned, [Name Removed], consistently made missteps that I had to follow up to correct and refused to take accountability for her consistent errors.
I hired JetPets to move my greyhound Maggie from Australia to New Zealand and it was one of the worst customer service experiences that I have ever encounter...ed. Prior to booking, everything was great. [Name Removed] was assigned as my travel consultant and I found the customer portal to be a handy tool. As we progressed from the initial booking to the execution of their service things changed. I booked Maggie to travel on Thursday August 1. Two weeks prior to her travel, I went into the portal and noticed there was vet work scheduled by JetPets on Thursday July 18. On the 17th, after no one had contacted me, I reached out to [Name Removed]to get details. She told me a JetPets representative would pick Maggie up the following day for mandatory vet work that was required two weeks prior to travel. I asked [Name Removed] if I could pick Maggie up when her appointment was over at 11:30am instead of having her dropped off at 5pm. I was told it was no problem and they would call me when she was done. The JetPets representative picked Maggie up the next day and took her off to the vet and around 1130am I received a phone call saying Maggies appointment was over and I could grab her. When I arrived at the JetPets facility, I walked in and notified the woman that I was there to pick up Maggie, the big black greyhound. The woman at reception told me she didnt know who my dog was as she showed me her iPad screen full of the pickups that were scheduled for that day. I provided her the customer number and the lady went into the back to look for Maggie. After about 5 minutes the lady came back and asked if I was sure my dog was there because she couldnt find her. I could not believe that my 32 kilo greyhound couldnt be found in their facility. After 10 minutes of multiple staff looking for her, Maggie was brought out and we both returned home anxiety ridden after the stressful experience. The next major issue occurred on July 30 when I hadnt heard from [Name Removed] as to what time Maggie was being picked up the next day in order to undergo additional vet work and be boarded for the night as her flight was on August 1. I called JetPets and was told that Maggie wasnt flying until the 2nd. At no point did JetPets tell me that that she wasnt flying on our agreed upon date. I was now homeless and scrambling to change my flight and find a place to sleep with my dog. No one at JetPets seemed like any of this was an issue. Next, Maggie was supposed to be picked up the day prior to her flight and she needed vet work and to be boarded. They forgot to pick her up. When I called JetPets to ask [Name Removed] why no one had picked Maggie up as scheduled, she told me that she forgot to mark Maggie as needing to be picked up. When I complained about the fact that things kept going wrong, she told me to calm down. After Maggie was picked up, I was to receive text updates on her status. This didnt happen. I had to email [Name Removed] again to ask why I wasnt receiving these updates and then I finally got a text update. The entire experience made me feel like I was chasing people down to perform a service that they were hired to do. [Name Removed] continuously made missteps and never seemed to care. I 100% would NOT recommend JetPets based on my experience.
Forever a fan of Jetpets
Last night was a massive day for Harry our beloved moodle and the family. Soon after we agreed to come to Singapore Harry was diagnosed with epilepsy. It meant he couldn't fly with us and instead spent the last 2 months on medication intended to reduce the potential risk of further seizure - especially on the flight over which could be life threatening. Last night Harry arrived safe and sound thanks to Jetpets. Jetpets were amazing. I can't rave enough about the incredible service we received and their patience dealing with all my calls and ema...ils as an anxious mum with her fur baby on-board. We had updates every step of the way. Harry was given his medication exactly on time, their in-house vet was incredible and Harry was delivered to our door, so quickly after his flight. A huge heartfelt thank you from all our family!

Cats arrived safely but not sure I would use Jetpets again
We used Jetpets to send our 2 cats from Syd to Cns. We arrived in Mascot expecting to find this chill out room as shown on the website so we could get them out of the cage and say goodbye but they were taken straight out back with no opportunity. Then the only communication we had from Jetpets was a txt to say they had been checked in for the flight. From then on we heard absolutely nothing further. We weren't in Cairns yet so the cats were collected by a 3rd party. The person collecting them was not required to show any ID or any paperwork relating to our cats. It could have been anyone. They arrived safely yes and we are grateful for that, however the communication and duty of care is probably not up to the standard you advertise.

Jet pets made the whole process of moving my 5 month old puppy from Brisbane to Christchurch super easy and stress free. My consultant Kate and her team bent over backwards to fit around my schedule when picking puppy up and dropping her off for vet visits etc. I was regularly updated as to where puppy was and how she was coping with the trip and she arrived very happy and wiggly so I know she was very well cared for. I seriously cant recomend jetpets enough, they made everything so simple and easy, they were easily contactable whenever I had questions and Kate really set my mind at ease about everything.

Hi Tracy. Jetstar does not carry pets so you would have to fly your dog with either Virgin or Qantas. Cost is worked out by weight I think. If you use Jetpets you can either hire one of their crates or use your own airline approved pet carrier. Jetpets will give you a free quote if you go to their website and follow the link.
