fault. I ended up paying a further $233.80 to make the change.Unbelievable!! All was done on the same day.
My ticket from melbourne to sydney was booked with virgin ,not only was it changed but a refund was also given because the fare was cheaper. Definitely not a happy customer:(

Not one problem. Budget of our liking. In my opinion a travel agent who has travelled extensively and with children is an asset.
friendly webpage, not helpful when you are on holiday in public holidays – i booked a waterfront lodge motel on jetset for Easter holiday in Tasmania,when we arrived on 8:30pm, we were told that there's no room booked under my name.it's such a shock to travellers in a strange place.When we called jetset,no one could help and asked us call back later. Worst Experience Ever - will never use again! – I have been dealing with [name removed] from Jetset Hillarys regarding my holiday to Bali - he was outright rude right from the start, taking 3 days sometimes to return emails regarding availability, after 8 dates being not available I called him as I'd rather deal with him on the phone and I wanted to get flights elsewhere whilst still on sale. … Read more
He told me the flights "were none of his concern". After dealing with him for days and getting everything finalised, he tried to charge me $360 for my twin 3 year olds to stay as an extra guest in 2 of the normal rooms that I had booked. I called the hotel direct and they said they didn't charge for kids under 5 at all. He told me that he quite frankly didn't care what they said, but I still had to pay the fee. He was so rude about it that it put me off dealing with him all together. I called on a Saturday when he wasn't there and booked my holiday no worries with someone else. I received the payment and holiday confirmation and all was done. Monday came and he told me unless I paid the extra $360 he would cancel my holiday (even though my girls were not even guaranteed to be coming to that hotel anyway! I'd said I would pay the hotel IF they came with me, but wasn't going to pay it just in case they didn't). He still said I had to pay it anyway or he'd cancel my holiday. Which he did.
Will never deal with JetSet again after this horrible experience.
PS - he also contacted my flight carrier I had booked with by now (I booked after my accommodation was confirmed) and got personal information from them regarding my flights and the persons flying with me!! When I told him this was illegal he backtracked and claimed he hadn't done it at all!

help line leading us to use this branch. jetset travel albany wa. advertise 24 hr help line but when in trouble dont rely on this branch for service to help.Failed to check tickets when requested leading to customers being bumped of flight due to there staff mistakes.taken 6months to negotiate a settlement of faults.
Terrible – I am - to say the very least - Unhappy with the whole experience I have had with Jetset Liverpool office. This was to be my 50th Birthday Dream Holiday it has turned into a nightmare
I have ended up writing to Dept of Fair Trading, AFTA, Jetset Head Office and The tour company to try and resolve this matter.
The Great customer service they promised comes at a price Lets see - They asked me for $220.00 amendment fee for increasing the pretour accomodation by 1 night, Package Service Fee $300 for "Preparing" the package, $190.00 Flight cancellation fee for flights that were neither confirmed or deposited with the airline. So a couple of phone calls and some computer entries is what we are essentially talking about. Whatever happen to customer service?? - They don't know the meaning of it.
And when I spoke of cancellation - then I was told but you signed an agreement I alway thought that an agreement involved 2 or more parties - It was not a one sided thing.
At the time of writing I have cancelled because I realised I had insurance cover for early cancellation with the tour company - problem is the money gets paid by the toour operator back to the agent and I am yet to recieve same.
The GOLD Seal Protection states that "Your deposit/payment to the tour company will be refunded should you cancel the tour for any reason prior to departure from Australia".
At the time of writing this I am still waitng to receive any response or refund from Jetset Liverpool.
At this stage this has cost me $1200.00 in deposits and fees plus around about 25 - 30 hours in time dealing with the matter.
Based on my experience I would NOT recommend that you deal with Jetset Liverpool. Shop in a convenient location - Thats where it ends This is about Jetset (Liverpool office) only - This has been the WORST experience I have ever had with a travel agent and I have booked a few holidays over the years. Non Disclosure of all Material Facts and Misrepresentation of Information were just 2 things That I believe I encountered over a 10 week period of attempting to book a simple bus tour of Europe.
I was promised Great Service - I got nothing close to that.
Excellent – we made a booking with jetset it was a complicated booking a lot to be organised and worked out we were away 5 weeks and not one thing went wrong the girl we booked through spent almost one full afternoon with my husband arranging flights and accomadation and it all went like clockwork great staff
Excellent – If only all "shops" and "services" were like Jetset in Bentleigh. Almost overkill in ensuring selling us na great vtrip which went like c lockwork. Excellent personal service from Jetset Bentleigh for Vietnam & Cambodia Trip. Consultant (girl) was 100% on the case Nothing for Jetset.
Excellent – I have had many wonderful experiences with my local Jetset (Ivanhoe, VIC). They are a very friendly team who are passionate about their job. minute changed pop up. They are always Friendly and dedicate more time to helping plan my holiday than other agents I have visited. They are also able to quote on anything I need and not restricted by preferred brands like some agencies. nothing, the are friendly, professional and have excellent service.
Terrible – Being ignored at the first branch I went to (Hay St) as the only person there kept on talking on the phone. Even after he finished his calls he ignored me as if I was invisible! is in Asia. Dodgy, considering it's their trade. Even if they genuinely don't know, a quick search on internet should solve the problem. Then lying about not being able to offer the flights cheaper as "we'll be having a loss" - I went to Flight Centre straight after and got the exact same flights for hundreds cheaper.
