IN LIQUIDATION NOW SEE ACA ..Ripped off lied to! – Bought a loungesuite around $5k from Johnny's Furniture Helensvale. Waited 5 months for the order. months. I waited but heard nothing after 4 months. Went to contact them but their ph is no longer in service and emails to extended warranty Dept are bouncing back. Now see they went into liquidation but I've paid extra for extended warranty so where to from here?? They would've known this last year when I made original complaint but they chose to lie to me that I'd have all new cushions in 4 months. Feeling ripped off!

Terrible – Long Story, 2 x chest drawers ordered, when delivered 1 was broken, they replaced with a store display. This one started getting stuck when opening. Not able to use, sent someone out and the drawers are wrong with my unit ( they are numbered) 2 months later no resolve. Worst customer service. Show details

CONSUMER ALERT, ‼️ – Ordered bedroom suite 7 months ago. Been delayed 5 times with different excuses. Delayed again another 2 months with no guarantee it’ll arrive. They’ve taken away the stores ability to refund. Refund team was supposed to call yesterday, they didn’t of course. Have lodged with fair trading and ACCC. You will not get a lounge after paying for it! – DO NOT RECOMMEND! PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS! Pretty much a scammer... you'll buy a lounge and be chasing it up for months on end while you receive nothing but lie after lie about where the couch is and when it is coming AND they won't call to give you an update, you'll have to chase them up. we did this prior to purchasing. Our story is so similar with them doing this over and over again!

We bought in October and made it clear we needed the lounge for our move in in December and were purchasing based on this delivery expectation. We were told yes it would be delivered. When it came to the time, we rang to be told it wasn't expected until mid-Jan and that was what was on our paperwork (we were not given this paperwork until after we already paid and accepted the promise we have received verbally). We let it go thinking one bad salesperson... Come mid-Jan and no call again so we call for an update and were told it was held up due to the Brisbane Port Cyber Attack. We were angry we hadn't been called to be updated but gave them the benefit of the doubt and accepted a promise of delivery by end of March AND a promise of a call if any information came up that changed the circumstances. Come end of March and what do you know, no contact AGAIN. So we call to be told they have been having an issue with their supplier since BEFORE we purchased and they thought it would be sorted by now and it wasn't so they weren't sure when or EVEN IF we would ever receive the couch because they actually don't have a supplier of it... AND THEY ARE STILL SELLING IT, the Pacey so be careful because they don't even have a way of getting this stock in but are still happy to lie about delivery and sell it to you anyway.

So we waited 5 months for a couch they never even had stock of or knew if they could even get stock of. We received lie after lie from them and if we had been told the truth from the start we never would have purchased the couch. Mind you, I am pregnant and now 4 days before my due date had to go store to store to find a new couch which of course has a 12 week wait as standard so we are going to face another 3 months of no lounge thanks to the lies of this company.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY A COUCH FROM THEM IF THEY DO NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK. YOU WILL LIKELY BE SCAMMED AND WILL BE LUCKY IF YOU EVER SEE THE LOUNGE... I have never been so disgusted dealing with a company in my life.

Unreasonable and misleading – I emailed and called several times and was told the manager would ring, but she didn't. Eventually another person said the manger was too busy and asked me to call back again tomorrow. We ordered a range of furniture (bed, dining set, side table, chairs, kitchen stools, etc) and paid a 50% deposit for all items. We were advised at the time of… Read more

purchase that there would be different delivery dates with one total delivery fee. However, when the first items were ready to be delivered, we were advised there would be separate delivery fees. Furthermore, we were only then told that, in addition to having to pay the balance due on the items ready for delivery (which is of course normal and expected), we would have to pay for the rest of the items even though most of them would not be in stock till at least 2 months later and where the delivery date for one of the items was still unknown (so presumably later still). As we had already paid a 50% deposit for those other items, the position taken by the store was totally unreasonable and inconsistent with their invoice. The store made no effort to find a reasonable solution and gave the impression that it didn't really care what its customers thought or what was fair. I will never deal with Johnny's Furniture again.

Attn: Helensvale Store - Chasing Up Refund – I have emailed your store numerous times and feel like my emails are NOW being ignored!!! You are already unfairly keeping 20% of my total order and at the end of it I will be left with no product. Your store could at least refund my deposit without any delays. Great Recliner – Purchased the 3 seater Wilson Recliner from the Helensvale store. Great Customer service & price. Was quoted Mid Jan 2024 delivery, but received a lovely phone call 1 week before Xmas advising it has arrived early & can have it before Xmas. Five Stars all the Way – Purchased Apollo furniture package and it is absolutely gorgeous well made and unbelievably well packed. Excellent Customer service, was informed right from the beginning it would be around six weeks by Mitchel A. All the staff always very polite. Shop Elsewhere! – We ordered a lounge suite in June 2023 and were informed that we would receive it in October. Upon following up in October we were informed that delivery was delayed until end November. I received a text on 11 Nov stating that we would not receive the item until January 2024. that we would receive the item before Christmas. In light of the delays, we requested a full refund for the amount of our deposit $2079.00 that we paid so we can purchase another suitable item to see us through the Christmas period. When I requested the refund I was told that I couldn't get other furniture from anywhere else as I would have to wait 10 weeks so I should wait till January to get the furniture that was delayed! Finally, they agreed to the refund, however, it took almost 2 weeks to get the refund. The process as follows - 1. The manager of the store had to get approval from corporate 2. Once approval was provided, they couldn't refund as the EFTPOS machine had broken down. 3. 2 days later, they could not refund as the Manager was away sick!! 4. Finally, 2 days later the EFTPOS machine was fixed and the manager was well again !!!!and we got our refunds We have several members of our family visiting us for Christmas and I now have to find some other furniture before Christmas, with only 4 weeks to go! TOTAL WASTE OF TIME, and we would NOT shop there again. On a positive note, the assistant manager, [Name Removed] was helpful.

Gorgeous Velvet Blue Andreas Arm Chairs – We are so pleased with the comfort, quality and price of our Andreas Arm Chairs. Or shopping experience with Johnny's Furniture was fantastic with the staff being extremely helpful and the delivery of the item right to the doorstep of our houseboat, which is the furthest from the start of the pier! We are obsessed with these arm chairs! We will definitely shop at Johnny's Furniture Helensvale again!
