again when nearby. The delivery never turned up. The driver is not answering texts or calls. No Johnny's Furniture stores phones are connected. I smell cut & run with everyone's money from their huge clearance sale on the weekend. How can they live with themselves !!

21 weeks delay delivery, consumer affairs threat & refunded money – Edit; They ended up granting me a full refund once I threatened that I was making a report to Australian Consumer Affairs. customer service reps, or given any explanations for said delays. The only way I was informed of the delay and new date, was if I took it upon myself to check the ETA tracker on their website.

When initially emailing them regarding the delay, all I got was "sorry we don't know how this happened". Serval more delays and ongoing complaints, their solution was I could cancel my order but they would withhold 20% and refund 80%.

Threatened them that I will be taking this to consumer affairs, they refunded me promptly the next day.

Been waiting nearly 5 months for dining chairs – We ordered 8 dining chairs in march. Advised 4 weeks until pick up. We followed up advised it will be another 8 weeks due to logistics problems. Waited 8 weeks followed up advised it will be another 2 months. Show details

Terrible online communication – Didn’t realise when purchasing that the online department is totally seperate to the store department. no choice but to sit and wait for them to email back- 2 weeks and counting. Very disappointed that you spend thousands of dollars and have zero points of communication. In store may be a different story, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering online if you live in rural Victoria.

still have all items i purchased from this store (big $ overall) and people still coment on our low line tv unit at how good it looks with a 100 inch Samsung curved tv on it. (2k by the way) $4.100 new, mine has small damage on rear that no one ever sees anyway. It's called, look carefully before you buy. OBVIOUSLY, most of you did not. BOO HOO!!! Go to Myers, then you'll have reason to whinge, especially $$$ wise. Regard's, a happy customer

us. They were informative without being pushy and were always friendly and professional. The store is well set out with items clearly labelled. The items came delivered in perfect condition. A massive thank you to the staff at Johnny’s for helping us to kit out our home :). We will definitely be back!

I do not recommend the Paige lounge – We purchased the Paige corner chaise lounge earlier this year for $1999.00, although we liked the look and feel of it in the shop, we now hate it. I purchased the Paige not knowing it had feathers. Both the seat and back cushions need to be fluffed up to twice daily, otherwise it looks like a horrible mess and is not nice to sit on. The seat covers slip forward and the lining which is meant to face the front/top edge, ends up working its way down under the seat cushion. They only way to fix it is to take the cover off, then you end up with a loungeroom full of feathers. The couch feels uncomfortable after sitting/lying on it for a while which I guess is due to lack of support. We have had similar L-shaped lounges which have not had the same issues. The service we received in store was ok. Payment options are good on latitude. We live in regional vic where they do not deliver, but they did not offer pick up on weekends which made it very difficult to organise. At $2000.00 for a decent sized couch, I was not expecting much, but we are now going to be getting rid of it after around 9 months, so it definitely has not been worth the money.

Horrible experience - 3rd time order delayed – I wish I could give 0 star. We ordered a couch from JF in December 2020 boxing day sale from their then DANDENONG store. Our order was expected in April 2021, then May and now it has been updated to June. First the excuse was COVID, then Chinese new year and now they don't have any reasons for the delay. months now, going to 6 and could well be a whole year, with the way things are going. No accountability or answers or proper assurances, you either wait or take a refund, they dont care. Save your MONEY AND TIME. Every other store that we ordered furniture from during the boxing day sales arrived on time except JF. Very very disappointed.

You don't get what you pay for tricky sale person – This company Johnny's Furniture Dandenong has tricky sale strategy to their sale product. I bought couch upon delivery they only deliver 3 Seater as the delivery driver said I only pay for 3 Seater it was clear to sale person it was the whole set. they leave you no choice to pay additional to complete the set. product you don't get what you pay for as there is additional cost hidden cost when product arrived you don't receive what you expect. Better go to proper furniture shop than this one.

Cheap fabric on couch – We brought a couch from here in June. The couch already has some threads coming out which they are blaming on normal wear and tear. For threads to already be coming out 3 months after a brand new couch is coming out from normal use of 2 adults and one child's with no pets on the couch I would not of bothered buying from them if I knew this would of happened.
