treat melasma completely, resolve uneven skin tone, minimize pores etc. Despite after 3x treatments, no results at all and i have to go thru all the injections pain. After my complaints, the following treatments they gave me free which i have received 2x free treatments and did 1x injection for laughing lines but my laughing lines are still there. I asked for 1 last try as i am taking some whitening supplements and see if there is results if combine. Then Nov 2023's appointment, delayed and postponed few times and finally fixed on 7 Jan 2024. After apply numb cream on my face, they ask me to pay for the treatment and i was shocked and disappointed. No results for all the treatments and still ask me for payment and also gone thru the pain for nothing. Plus my last request also cannot be fulfilled. Now i want a full refund!!

finally got an appointment and got there, there was a closed sign on the door, I waited for 20 minutes just incase someone was in an appointment out the back and no one was there. I did not recieve a call telling me my appointment was cancelled in fact I called earlier that day to confirm my appointment was still on as they are normally always rescheduled and it's not an easy or convenient place to go for me. When I did receive my one and only treatment the temperature was up WAY too high and I could smell the burning on my legs, honestly it seemed that the person doing the treatment hadn't done it before. I am used to IPL and I know it doesn't tickle however this one hurt so much that I don't want to go back. Honestly, even though you save money buying the scoopon it is not worth the hassle.

Got burns and blisters – Dont go to this place! They burned me, burns became blisters. The girl who answer the phone is very rude and seems very uneducated! Its a shame, when there 4 times and never had problems, they had some new "laser technician" I wonder if she was even qualified! They said so but I doubt it! My burns are pretty bad

Unproffersional – The quality of the laser is poor, after 5 sessions I have hardly seen results. The beautician constantly changes, I have had three different girls in 5 months. They are always running late, have had appointments cancelled twice with short notice. Customer service from the girl that seems to be in charge is shocking. I do not recommend them.

Dont go!! not worth it at all – I bought a scoopon voucher, service really bad and technique terrible! I'm sure the 'beauty technicians' are not trained. The first few session was ok, then it progressively got worse. I usually have a very high pain tolerance but the pain this was unbearable and she said it was 'normal', luckily I was not burned! after all that, they did a poor job, not much difference in terms of hair loss and i am the perfect candidate for IPL.

Avoid at all Cost – Had voucher for IPL constantly cancelling appointments without any notice whatsoever. I would turn up and be told I would not be seen. Are you serious, this happened so many times. Every appointment made was never recorded. They should not be operating. Not to mention no difference to my hair removal. know how to prepare for the first appointment and she just told me to shave the area, but when I asked more questions about it she said I would have to speak to the lady on the day (by which point it would be too late because I would have needed to shave the area!).

After reading these reviews I called out of hours to cancel my appointment (thinking I would leave a voice message), someone answered and told me to call back within work hours (I think they live at the salon).

Don't do it! – I had the same dreadful experience as others here. I ended up walking out after waiting an hour and deciding that my health was more valuable than the voucher for IPL I had purchased. When I tried to get a refund I was unable to. What was advertised was the polar opposite of the actual experience.

The "technician" walked me through towards the end of the store into a "cubicle" that was partitioned by makeshift curtains, she handed me a pair of sunglasses which looked like they were bought for $2 at the Hot Potato Discount Shop nearby. During the session, the "technician" advised me she was pregnant.

She talked incessantly and it wasn't until I got home I realised she had missed literally half my leg, only the front and back were IPL and the sides were completely missed. I wanted to run out of there screaming from the unprofessionalism. Jolie feels too much like the machine was bought on the Internet and the owners anticipate its a market to make easy money. I cannot stress enough to avoid Jolie. If you've already pre-purchased vouchers, cut your losses, and go elsewhere. Stay well away from Jolie. My greatest concern is Scoopon and Living Social/Jump On It are still endorsing Jolie.

to be honest it was so unprofessional its scary. I don't think they have had any training. I noticed that they use the same spatula for all customers to apply the lotion that they use. I have also noticed that they do not have proper protective eyewear - I was handed a pair of cheap hot pink sunglasses that looked like they came from a $2 store. out through a rabbit warren of makeshift partitioned hallways, past an area where it appeared a woman was living! A makeshift kitchen (she was in the middle of cooking), piles of laundry and a makeshift bed. I was extremely uncomfortable walking through this area. The toilet looked heavily used and was unlit so very dark with the door shut. Awful. Totally unlike any beauty therapy place I've been to before!

Finally went in for my appointment. The lady running the IPL machined seemed lovely enough but I instantly felt that she was untrained and did not have any knowledge of the machine. I started to ask her about her qualifications (as everybody should before laser hair removal) and she said she had used the machine 'lots' in the last 3 months. She could not show any proof of training or any knowledge of how the machine worked and she said that "if the machine burns or scars it will be my fault because I ticked skin type 2 on the info sheet".

I couldn't believe my ears!! I left. The 'lady' at the front desk was so appallingly rude, she left me bewildered. Sorry to ramble, but this place is an absolute shocker. I would not be surprised if it's on Today Tonight one day! Do not go there!

So, after about 20 attempts I surprisingly got an answer on Jolie’s phone number, at about 10am last Monday morning. I spoke to a man named [name removed] who advised that "he does not take bookings but his manager would call me back before then end of the day to take my booking". Nobody called me back.

The next day I again spent the morning calling repeatedly and finally a girl took my call and was able to set up an IPL booking for 9am Saturday. As I was very dubious about this I rang again several times on Thursday (no answer), and finally confirmed with a lady named [name removed] 24hours before the booking time (Friday morning – 9am).

I then drove all the way from Donvale to Brunswick for my Saturday 9am appointment only to find that aside from the man running the dress shop, Beluccios (which you have to walk through to get to Jolie Heath and Beauty), there were no staff present. When I expressed my frustrations to this man he began to attempt ringing and texting the girl who was supposed to be treating me but after 20mins advised “don’t bother waiting around, I don’t think she is going to show up”

This was the last straw.

Don't waste your money and time like I did.

When I finally got into the room, the lady didnt really explain much, she just asked where I wanted to get done and added it up accordingly. I just want to mention here, she said I had $600 worth of IPL when in fact she only did $450. That was the first problem.

When the lady got to my arms, something fell out of the machine on to my top near my chest. She hadnt noticed and proceeded to ZAP me. She zapped my right arm and it was so very very painful, I yanked my arm away. She told me the filter had fallen out as she grabbed the metal hot 'filter'off my chest, not with her bare hands but with a bunch of tissues, telling it was very hot, like I hadnt noticed already, it was on my chest!!!

After the session was completed (all 15 mins of it), my arm was really red and really sore. I asked what I should do and the lady told me to treat it like sunburnt and not to worry about it too much.

Well, I should of worried as its a 2nd degree burn that got infected and is going to leave an awful scar. Not only that but it still hurts.

I will be taking this matter furthur to prevent other people getting lifetime scars from a bunch of people with no professionalism.

It is a dress store with a add on salon. I live in the area and now i know why they are never busy. I have bene into the dress store and when i have the two young girls just sit on the internet and look at gossip websites.
