Would reccomend any Jura machine! Have had this machine for over 6 years now and it is hands down the best machine ive ever owned. It tells you when you need to clean descale etc and still makes coffee better then the cafes! We make 3 -12 cups a day! Show details
Bought a Jura E6 a machine from JB HiFi and for a few weeks it was really good, then the frother/foamer stopped working even tho I ran the milk rinse option daily and the milk rinse after every coffee and its basically stopped working completely, just pumps warm milk no froth, even after disassembling the components and thoroughly cleaning it all.… Read more
Update: Called Jura support and the support person was very helpful and quickly diagnosed the issue. She emailed me a video on how to disassemble the milk frother and clean it and its all working perfectly. Very happy
Brilliant machine – The Jura E6 is replacing our old Jura machine. The E6 has exceeded our expectations. The machine has been easy to set up with various options for coffee types. things need attention. The coffee is consistently good, however the frother is average at best and unless you are making black coffee the coffee is luke warm. Despite it’s shortcomings we are pretty happy with it.

system time is too short. i have to do that task 3 times before clean water come through. it could be quieter too
Perfect coffee every time – Love this machine. Just push the button and we have perfect coffee every time. It prompts us when we need to change a filter or clean the milk pipe (quite often but we realised that each coffee we make equates to around 3 coffees) Just love it - no more shop bought coffees for us. Jura E6 – I bought this machine on its lower price and simplicity compared to other Jura machines - mainly to produce quality strong espresso shots. It performs these nicely, and if it lasts through the years with no reliability issues I will continue to be very happy with the purchase. Great little machine, just perfect for my needs – This machine consistently makes a very good cup of black coffee, I can't comment on milky coffee's as I have not made one with this machine. This is my 3rd Jura machine over some 20 years and some 30,000+ cups of coffee...that says it all – The coffee produced is excellent in both taste and crema and very consistent. Very easily changed for strength during the process. Temperature is spot on. Having personalised the machine for a one touch cup, it is simple to change all aspects while the machine is making the brew for a larger, smaller or stronger coffee...whatever you want. Love that. Okay so far! – Have had the machine for just over one month, but so far it seems to work okay. We bought the E6 only because we had a Jura C5 since in 2007 which provided no faults or breakdowns. Makes 2 to 4 cups per day. And cleaned daily. Show details

Expensive machine that can’t be relied upon – The machine was expensive to buy, and is expensive to run, needing a new filter regularly, as well as other expensive cleaning products that are only available at one store. The milk frothing system is very poor and totally unreliable, regularly just heating, not frothing, the milk. Temperature is very hit and miss too, with a lukewarm beverage not an uncommon occurrence. Show details
The absolute worst customer service i have ever experienced – I owned a Jura S9, when the brew unit died in 2018 and the local Jura agent wouldn't fix it as they weren't allowed to i replaced it with a Jura E6 on their recommendation. something slightly different about it to the one on display. The steam knob was extremely tight and hard to turn and due to it being plastic my fingers would slip, especially if they were wet. I went back to the agent and took a photo of theirs and mine to compare. I figured out that they had a different steam knob, theirs was black and non slip. Mine was silver and plastic. I asked why the knob was different, they could not tell me. I asked if i could have the knob changed, the agent told me they would ask Jura. After a couple of months the agent kept forgetting to follow this up. I followed up Jura Australia myself via email. I had become so frustrated and infuriated by the steam knob i had stopped using the E6. I asked Jura why the knobs were different i was told that there was a second series of the machine had been released which had the new knob. I asked what were the differences between the versions, i was told only the knob. I asked why i was shown the second series on display but was supplied with the first series. They could not answer my question. I wondered what else was different that i had not been told about? I asked that the knob be replaced and was told it could but would take 3 months for the part to arrive. I waited 6 months, heard nothing. I wrote an email asking what was happening, no answer. i sent an email stating if i had no response within the next 3 weeks i would go the Consumer affairs. No answer. I went to consumer affiars. My issue is with Jura Australia, the law now states that the complaint is raised with the point of purchase. They sent my complaint to the local agent whom i had known for 9 years and had a good relationship with up till that point. They told me they had spoken to Jura Australia, the person whom had been originally dealing with me went on Maternity leave, no explanation as to why no one else dealt with the problem. I was told they would replace the knob. I accepted this resolution as my complaint was against Jura Australia, not the local agent. Jura Australia never contacted me after the last email from service desk 9 moths previously saying they would replace the part. No apology, nothing from the local agent or Jura Australia. The machine died. I purchased a DeLonghi and am very happy with that. You can actually remove the brew unit to clean or replace.
Jura E6 – I am not satisfy with this product as nothing is hot. I had to warm it up in the microwave and so disappointed in this product. As the temperature is set to high the coffee ect is still cold. Wish I can throw this product in the bin ... its not worth the amount what you paid for it .. bought it 2 weeks ago. Show details
Good coffee machines, poor crap customer service – I have ongoing problems with my machines and each time I call the customer service I had to wait to be answered and while I am waiting they hanged up on me. she is gonna pass on my message to her and she will call me back. Did she ever called me back? NO. Over 3 weeks ago I spoke to another person and she said she is going to sent me the part. Has it arrived after 3 bloody weeks yet? NO. Their poor customer service is second to none.
WARNING: Do not waste your time and money buying their machines as if you need the service you will be regretting why you bought their machine.

The coffee is excellent, and quality is consistent. By selecting brew size, and coffee bean quantity, the product is fully comparable to most coffee shops, and (using the good-quality beans I can now afford, due to the money saved) better than many.
Unlike some who have reviewed, I do not heat milk in the machine. I simply use the microwave for a few seconds to get the preferred temperature, and use a low-price frother (from Aldi) if cappucino is requested.
In short, a solid, good-looking machine that does a first-class job.
Cold cappuccino – Brought a Jura e6 on sales person recommendation, we have had it for about 6 weeks now. Makes very good expresso but the cappuccino is just warm we have tried everything but still just warm coffee. DO NOT BUY!! Machine stopped working properly less than a month old, and their customer service was atrocious – We purchased an E6 back in March, owned it less than a month when the milk frother stopped working properly - it wouldn spurt and splatter milk out in to a bubbly mess, instead of the beautiful thick foam it was initially producing. sent off for repairs. We were without the machine for 4 weeks (numerous phone calls were made on my behalf during this time, trying to find out what was happening with our machine. But was never given a straight/helpful answer), and when it was finally returned to us, there was no change at all. Jura wanted us to have it shipped off for repairs again, but by this stage we had had enough. We demanded a refund, we were denied initially but finally they allowed it, after threatening to get ACCC involved. 100% WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Zero care or compassion from their customer support team. We’ve gone Delonghi now, and are loving it.

I wish I could give it 5 stars but – We were looking for a simple coffee machine and loved the simplicity of this Jura E6. It makes lovely tasting coffee and it is consistent. when you have 85ml of Coffee and the remainder of Milk Froth it is cool - there is no higher setting for the Milk - and when you pay $1300+ you would expect a simple function like this.
For anyone wanting a Flat White or Cappuccino expect to microwave it for 1 minute
It is a little disappointing and it is a shame as I love everything else about this machine.
Excellent loads of features – Very happy with the different types of coffee you can put in, easy to use and keep clean, its best to be shown how to do it the first time. Best coffee machine – It is Swiss. It is perfect. Makes an excellent cup of coffee. Black coffee, especially. Very easy to use. Big water reservoir. Reasonably large, air tight beans compartment. donna, requiring attention. For good reasons I envisage. Apparently, a good cup of coffee requires good quality water and a very clean machine. Which means, if you're converting from a pod machine, as I have, you'll be spending more time with your new beloved. Nothing to keep track of as 'she' prompts you regarding what is required. Cleaning, rinsing, switches and so on. Automatically turns off when not in use. Water heats up very well for tea. Milk foam is excellent but the milk doesn't heat up. So your cup of cappuccino will not be as hot if you have too much milk. Easy solution is, add less milk :)
All good though. For the sake of that perfect cup of coffee, and a brand to 'wow' your friends with.
