Have started charging hidden fees (fees for typical super fund activities not listed on their fee schedule). Failed to meet tho me frames they set themself to do things (such as rollovers).

The fees are very reasonable and the reports of a higher standard than I got from my local Chartered Accountant whose fees were $1,000 higher and involved heaps more effort and time consuming with having to keep and supply both electronic and hard copies of all documentation, then a meeting at the start of each job. In contrast with Just Superfund everything is electronic via an online client portal that enables uploading and downloading all the necessary documents and reports, including signing the completed accounts. They also offer the option of using snail mail for those without access to the online portal. All speedy, secure, efficient and hassle free.

Fee for service that hasn’t been delivered – Engaged this organisation to complete my SMSF tax return. Invoice they sent me right up front for a service that hadn’t yet been delivered. In effect they were asking me to surrender my consumer protections for a service that been delivered. They also rely on the just the written word for all their communications with clients which is grossly inadequate. These tax returns are not cheap and at the very least I expected some more personable contact during the whole process. One final observation I would make is that there are many financial services organisations out there (excluding Just Superfund) that appear to be price gouging people with SMSFs. Something, that in my opinion warrants investigation by ASIC or some other relevant regulatory body.

forward whatever document our accountant asked for without really understanding the process. Our return is somewhat complex and had been done wrong in the past by a big name accountant firm which were charging 3x the cost of Just Superfund plus additional audit fees. Had everything finally fixed up which required multiple back and forth emails before getting it all right. The staff are very helpful and actually answer specific questions raised and do not just give generic copy paste replies. So thankful for the hard-working crew that helped make this happen. I will be recommending Just Superfund to everyone with an SMSF - there is just no need to be using a traditional accountancy firm these days as not only do they charge more but can also make mistakes as well.

I moved the annual Auditing and Tax Return for my Self Managed Super Fund to Just Superfund 8 years ago and have been more than satisfied with their performance. During the 8 years they have kept me informed and done all the necessary work to amend Trust Deeds etc when required and I have no hesitation in fully recommending them.

Professional service – I have been using Just Superfunds for about three years. I usually have my SMS documentation ready for the last day of June to submit after close of business. They guarantee they will be finished in 2 weeks, which has been correct. Last uyear the auditor took a long time because of a fault found in our name, although that fault had existed for 28years.
