we thought were a professional group of tax accountants. Making the move from one tax agent to another is not easy and carries a lot of risks however we couldn't be happier with Online Super Fund. In the past we have needed to constantly check our past returns by our previous agent and have simple errors corrected. Not ideal when you are paying a significant fee in the expectation of receiving an accurate SMSF return. We cannot speak any more highly of Online Super Fund and recommend them highly to anyone seeking an affordable yet accurate service. The communication we have experienced so far is outstanding and no question is too much trouble and is answered within days if not hours. A refreshing change from a big firm that we paid big dollars to for a poor service. We are also very happy to be dealing with a business that is based in Australia as many taxation work is performed overseas to reduce costs. We have tried to complete our own SMSF tax return but it is a brain busting exercise even though we are fairly savvy with the taxation system and have a reasonable understanding of investments and basic accountancy. This is now our fifth year with Jarrad and Sharene who run Online Super and we couldn't be more satisfied. Reviews are often vehicles of overstatement but this team deserves all the positive comments posted via Product Review. I have posted countless complaints and negative reviews so it is really pleasing to add to this 5 star review. If you don't know, Online Super do everything, nothing is offshore or contracted out, they are prompt, the feedback and advice is professional with no selling on and their fees are very competitive if not the best for the service you receive. FYI - our SMSF costs about $1,000 per member every year for the whole auditing process. Try and beat that for service through an Aussie based company.

and that she must have all documentation to her within a couple of days or they would not be able to do the work. I was not happy being put under this kind of pressure but complied and dropped everything to work solely on getting the required documentation to them. They need to get some paperwork from the previous accountant who had not replied some 12 hours after they email her at which point they started emailing telling me they were unable to start the job without receiving documentation from the prior accountant. This had nothing at all to do with compiling the 2020 accounts. I started to then receive emails late at night requesting me to urgently respond and demanding information and saying they were unable to start with the work. My questions as to relevance and genuine dependence on the information being requested were treated with condescension. It was clear to me that they were simply looking for a way to get out of the contract. Claiming there wasnt adequate documentation, claiming the documentation was incomplete and making demands for turn around times that were unreasonable. I ended this arrangement. Would never ever recommend them.
