it's crap!!! – I've had the Karcher WD6P for a year now. It is used for all general jobs. The nozzle on the end of the flex hose has worn, so that the wand just drops off. The flex hose has just split...was replaced under warranty. The filter clogs up in less than five minutes...in sawdust its worse..I mean really...every five minutes you have to blow out the filter or it has no suction. It's a terrible design & I would never buy one again Show details

Below average for price – First one was replaced under warranty due to electronic shock through vac arm. On using it looses suction due to poor fitting parts mostly at the air filter seems to loosen but not obviously visible. Moving around wheels have their own idea where you want them to go and falls over a lot. Would not recommend as there are cheaper options that are way more powerful without the need to purchase expensive bags. Show details

Great suction but could really use a carpet head – I understand that this is supposed to be a workshop vac, but people with pets know that workshop vacs are where it’s at for pet hair clean up. I have tiles throughout with the exception of the bedrooms so for almost all applications the Karcher WD 6 PS is outstanding. It just needs a head with no bristles so I can do the couch & the bedrooms… Read more

more easily.

Aside from that, there’s nothing tube size this beast won’t suck up. My kids hate it because I’ll straight up vacuum anything they leave laying around & if they want it back they have to wait until the bag is full & cut it open to retrieve whatever got sucked up. The only limitation is the size of the tube so bye bye Lego, diamond dots, earrings, pens & pencils, markers, socks, hair accessories, make up…I’ll have a crack at anything!

Durable Wet and Dry Vac – I have had this vac for 3 years and use it most days. The vacuum has a self clean function for the filter so it can be cleaned while still using the cleaner. I use a bag with this cleaner and the suction stays strong for the whole I am using it Show details

Great outdoor vacuum - great for cleaning the pool cover – Pleasantly surprised by how good this wet and dry vacuum is. Bought it to clean the leaves of the pool cover however have since found many other uses for it. Easy to clean and empty. Often find myself at mid power as at maximum power, this thing has incredible suction. The only thing Karcher can do to improve on this product is a better place for the power cord to be wound when not in use. Show details

Awesome vacuum cleaner with great power!! – I use this on mainly carpeted areas prior to carpet cleaning. It does an excellent job of sucking everything up. I also use it on my floor boards at home and it sucks everything up beautifully. My only gripe with the device is the aluminum connector to the floor suction piece damages easily, making it hard to connect to the suction attachment. Easily replaceable though i would assume. Show details ·  1

Powerful – one word for this monster machine. Powerful. you couldn't go wrong buying this vacuum. it is quite bulky so need to be careful if you are living in a double storey house. the blower function is also useful in case if you have big backyard to clean. Show details ·  1

Easy to use vacuum – I have to admit, I didn't buy or choose this vacuum - hubby bought it from Bunnings and presented it to me with a "here, this one should work with no trouble" (after my dyson died). And it's really easy to use. It has great suction and the barrel is huge so it takes many months of vacuuming before it needs emptying (no vacuum bags required). I… Read more ·  1

vacuum both carpet, lino & floorboards all with the one attachment, even the kids (8 & 5yo) jump in and vacuum the house!

It's a little noisy but after you see the floor and realised how clean it is, you soon forget about that noise!

So yes, hubby did good with buying this vac!

Very powerful suction and blower – Bought this from Bunnings and I can tell it's well made in terms of materials use and performance. It's got the adjustable power for suction and blower. The onboard tools are a nice feature. My only complain here is, once you inserted the suction tubes to floor nozzles. I say, good luck on pulling them out. I have to heat them up on my gas stove… Read more

in able to remove it. I rubbed oils around the floor nozzles insertion for easy removal. I hope it will be easy to remove it next time I need it to put another accessories. Another design flaw I notice here is the on board accessory mounting for floor nozzles. This one , who ever designed it, didn't notice that the floor nozzle have a tendency to rub on the ground as shown on my image. But aside from that, everything looks fine.

Very great! – Used it on carpet, amazing performance! The price is considerable for a product of this quality. Haven't tried this on wooden floor yet. However, it's performance on carpet rivals that of Dyson and without the hefty price tag, I think this is a better choice for most people on a budget. Show details

Super Sucker – My flybuys earned me enough points to purchase and replace my old miele vacuum. It has an extremely powerful suck compared to the old vacuum so was really impressed with that. It however is on the noisy side and the cord is not as long as needed and not retractable so hangs around. The machine itself is a monster so you need the space to store… Read more ·  1

this if using it as a household vacuum. Haven't had the need for using the wet function yet but apparently you need to remove the bag before you do this. The whole machine is a beauty and wheels around really easily. I don't give it 4 stars for the simple reason that it is loud and cord not long enough or retractable. Replacement bags are available on ebay for around $30 for 12, but they are big and unless you are sucking up leaves and dirt should last a long time.
