My Karcher has a red light that stays on even though it's charged. It doesn't flash and when you turn it on the light turns green. When you turn it off it turns back to red. Wouldn't this reduce the battery charge having a light constantly on? Not sure if this is supposed to happen!

Why does the green light stay on constantly even when not in use?
I would like to know if I can get a replacement charger for the wv70 window vac as I have misplaced mine during a house move.
I’ve always been very happy with my karcher WV70. Recently we noticed that it’s not sucking up the water like it used to. Any idea why?
Can you get new recharge cord for the WV 70?
Hi I am wanting to know how long the battery lasts? Not how long does it stay charged, but the life time of the battery please?
Sorry no idea , I only have 2 sliding door/type windows I do regularly so I never run out of charge.
I never ran out of charge and never replaced the battery. Daughter now has and I have upgraded. Sorry
Hi. Not used the Karcher much .so still like new. Was a gift . However plugged in to charge , and for some reason not charched. Light was fading so power is getting to it. Can you tell me what to do to get it going? Has worked fine in the past. It's like something wrong with battery. Thanks
Bev I can not be of much help I am sorry. Definitely not electrically minded. I would be contacting the service provider or a reliable electrical contractor. Best of luck. My Karcher now lives in Ballarat with my daughter so have purchased the next model up.
How long does the constant red light stay while charging before it turns green - am wondering whether the green light is not working bend constant red for about an hour now?
it doesnt turn green- a constant red light means it is full charged, a flashing red light means charging.
Suction has become very poor, cleaned all obvious areas on unit. Has done very little work. Any ideas please?
Buy a new one
Should the red light be on when it is charging?
Yes, while charging the red light will flash, once fully charged it will become constant. From memory it actually changed to a green constant light when fully charged originally (maybe the green light busted?) but now it's red.
Would anyone know which quality window solution to use for this machine?
I actually used windex, it cuts down on the streaks and gave me a much better result than the cleaning fluid that came with it
My karcher wv 70 ,window cleaner /12 months old ,nothing wrong with cord ,as checked with another ,so what could be the problem please
It's more than likely a problem with the lithium battery I have the same issue with mine had it just over 12 months and it wouldn't charge then it did charge and when I turned it on it kept stopping and starting and I couldn't turn it off. The window vac gets good reviews but probably because people have just purchased it I think the battery is poor and conveniently dies after the 12 month warranty. Very disappointing as it's not cheap why would you want to keep replacing it after 12 months
Has anyone used it on couches? My kids are always spilling stuff and although we have fabric protection it does leave marks
This is not the same as a hand held vacuum that sucks liquid. Karcher is for smooth, flat and smooth surfaces like glass.
When I used Karcher always leave the mark on the mirror, could you tell me how to avoid that proplem
I used a lint free cloth to wipe away any residue. Only found I needed to do this on small areas like mirrors. Was quick and easy.
Would this be good for getting rid of condensation on windows? Takes me 20 mins and 3 huge towels to wipe down all our windows in the morning, such a pain. Thanks
YES. For me that is its greatest use. Just remember that it has a fairly small tank. You need to watch that it doesn't over fill or it will start spraying out. You will be amazed at how much water comes from the condensation on windows. I also love it for the shower. This has become one of my cannot live without products. Highly recommend. I bought mine from Bunnings for around $99, but really worth the money.
I forgot to mention, you do not need to take it apart to empty. There is a little plug on the water tank. Just undo, then tip water through that. I advise to clean the head at times, as you will find it picks up the dust etc. while vacuuming. I also use it on benches. It leaves surfaces dry.
Is it very heavy? Is there an add-on for ceaning windows above your reach?
It’s not heavy at all. I’m not aware of any add ons...still need a ladder.
Hi
It is not heavy at all. I don't know about an extension for cleaning overhead. I am hoping my husband will use a ladder and do those windows for me.
It is not heavy. Not sure about any extension handles. My windows are floor to ceiling and it reaches the top of them inside the house. Outside I need a step up.
