Maltodextrin has a very high glycemic index, even higher than table sugar, causing rapid and significant spikes in blood sugar levels due to its quick digestion and conversion to glucose. Not sure why a supplementary toddler milk drink needed a higher GI index.

It’s super gentle on my little one’s tummy and actually smells and tastes like real milk — fresh and natural. I like that it’s got all the good stuff in it too, like prebiotics, iron and vitamin D. Just as good as cows milk – I thought I would try this milk for my toddler, but after trying it I don't think it is any better than regular cows milk. And it is not as fresh as local milk. directions are easy to follow and the toddler milk is easy to prepare, and as far as I could tell the milk looked smooth after mixing it.
