email signatures still showed their old Bayswater address. When I arrived and found the business had moved, I called Karma and was directed by their staff to bring the flooring to Epping. I followed those instructions to the letter.

When my refund came through, $55.90 had been deducted for a courier — apparently because the flooring should have gone to a different location (The Flooring Lab). This was never mentioned during the phone call. Had I been told the correct drop-off point at the time, I would have gone there directly — it would have been more convenient for me.

Karma's response cited the original credit note and the fact that they had absorbed the supplier's restocking fee. Neither point addresses the key issue: a customer who follows verbal instructions from a staff member should not then be penalised for doing so.

Multiple follow-up emails took over a week to receive a reply. The $55.90 remains unrefunded.

The flooring itself is a Flooring Lab product and was good quality. My complaint is entirely with Karma Flooring's handling of the return.

Great service, advice and by far the best price – Karma flooring in Bayswater helped us select the best product for our whole house. They helped us with advice on the type of flooring and the hybrid floor was perfect and at an unbelievable price.
