Initially impressed with receptionist Chloe during first contact calls. Following same, Noah was assigned to do assessment on property. Was definitely pleased with the workmanship, interaction and final outcome of visit. Would definitely deal with company in future and you should be recommended for sure. Yet again, Noah certainly knew his trade and was very personable. Thank you so much.

Exceptional service. Above and beyond – Our bathroom fittings and toilet were replaced, exactly as we wished. Even though there were some challenges, Tyler persevered to get the job done without charging us any more for the extra time it took. Super pleased with the outcome.
Storm water - massive issues solved – Our stormwater system wasn't draining at all causing the downpipes to spillover and erode out around the house footings. in the front garden. Shayne and a couple of the other guys rocked up this morning and had the job sewn up by 3pm. The job was quite big - excavator to clear an area and trench, the path in front of the house needed cutting and then bitumen re-laid, all new pipe was laid, new inspection points in the front down pipes, concrete cut out to replace a concreted over elbow. to install a tap product that though readily available in Europe is not often seen here. I spoke to the manager who had seen them in Europe but none of the tradesmen who came to the house had installed one.
The installation went well but that night we didn't have hot water. So after a Friday morning call, Kris examined the hotwater system and was surprised that it had failed after 7 years. After a discussion a temporary storage unit was installed and arrangements made for a solar hot bank the next week. That night the water was tepid. I let them know on the Monday and the temporary unit was swapped out only for us to find out that night that we still had tepid water. As they were coming out soon to install the new system, I didn't let them know until they arrived on the day of installation.
I mentioned to James (plumber) that we had still only had tepid water. He was concerned and instead of starting the new installation, spent the next 6 hours troubleshooting. It turned out that the cause related to the tap we had had installed. James was from the UK and so had seen the style of tap but he was thorough and checked everything out.
As our hot water system was now functioning, we decided against installing the solar water system, and they arranged for the unit to be removed and returned our deposit in a timely manner. All of James' work and time was covered under warranty of the tap installation.
So we were very pleased with the outcome and will continue to use Ken Hall.
Do not consider using Ken Hall plumbers unless you have oodles of money to spare. The prices they charge for straightforward plumbing work is quite hair raising. My gas was cut off for a week by one of Ken Hall’s plumbers as he said he detected a gas leak. I was not given any option. Interestingly there had never been any smell of gas and my gas bills did not reflect excess gas used. Two gas appliances in the house were permanently disconnected as they were not being used and I was informed I had to have a whole new gas main line installed from the meter to the house. A few months after this work was done I became aware of a smell of gas around where the new gas main went into the house and my next gas bill was higher than usual. The problem is now getting worse. I have not called Ken Hall back as I cannot afford another huge bill. Out of interest I recently checked on the price of my new gas hot water unit and the average quote was $1595 including installation. I was charged $2488.25 for the exact same model. I wasn’t going to bother writing this review until last week when a pensioner friend of mine was very distressed when she called in Ken Hall to have a similar model instant gas hot water unit installed and got no change from $5000!

away. I got a message from Liam telling me he was on his way. And he turned up exactly when I was told he would. He was very nice and listened to me and went straight up to the leak and knew what it was straight away. He reassured me it was ok and not to worry. He contacted his boss Tregan who popped in to have a look. He was also really nice. No one rushed me. Everything was explained to me. And we booked the job in for early the next morning. That night I received a message from Tyler who confirmed the time in the morning with me. I had to change the time and both Liam and Tyler organised it for me letting me know everything. Tyler and Harry arrived exactly on time. They were fantastic. And as I had to go to work Tyler told me not to worry that they will take care of everything. He kept me updated and let me know it was done. He even closed my gates for me! They put all the grass back and my pavers. Tyler even went and bought an extra pipe and fixed it for me. When I hadn't received my reciept from the office I messaged Liam and he contacted the office for me and messaged me whats going on. It was a misspell of my email. But it was handled quickly. Tregan is a great boss. As Liam has almost finished his trade Tregan encouraged and explained to Liam. They have a great relationship. And it was great to see. Everyone works as a team. Supporting each other to do right by the customer. Starting at the office. I have never ever experienced such service. And I have hired a lot of trades. I am extremely thankful for Liam and Tregan and Taylor and Harry for helping me when I was feeling overwhelmed and anxious. I will never use any other trades now. Only this company. He went to the trouble of proving a link to the website which made that process much easier. As a result, I purchased the equipment at the best available price on offer with free next day delivery. very evening. Jason arrived within the hour and investigated and thoroughly tested the main fuse box, cable and meter box in difficult conditions under torchlight and in the oppressive heat. In collaboration with another technician from SA Power Networks the problem was resolved by about 10pm and we had light and most importantly air-conditioning operating again on that very hot night! Thank you Jason for your prompt and excellent work, friendly service and the useful advice about ways to improve the safety and efficiency of our electrics. Very pleased!

Over the past week Ken Hall tradies have been attending to the roof & gutters on my house & a rental house. AVOID – Overpriced. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Charged over $300 to replace a leaking tap with a tap we supplied (not including $99 call out fee) and $99 to replace a water filter cartridge (with one we supplied). The replacement took 5 minutes. Please look elsewhere. Still troubled by the experience.

Happy as Larry – Reaching out to them after getting a flyer in the mail box, 2 days later i had a crew showing up at the house and, after a thorough inspection and chat, gave me a quote on the spot. was given a four-hour window between 12:00–4:00 PM, so I took the afternoon off work to be available. At 2:45 PM, I received a text from the receptionist informing me that the electrician wouldn’t be coming today because they were stuck on a job restoring power to a site. There was no apology for the inconvenience, only an offer to reschedule at a time that suited me. I then had to ask whether the plumber was still coming, and after following up via text, I was told they would arrive shortly. It’s now 4:30 PM, and the plumber still hasn’t arrived. Worse, there has been no further communication from Ken Hall or the plumber to let me know whether they’re still coming or not. This complete lack of communication and respect for my time is extremely frustrating. It’s clear to me that Ken Hall has serious issues with communication and doesn’t value their clients. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service is appalling. I strongly urge anyone considering using Ken Hall for plumbing, electrical, or gas fitting services to reconsider. I ended up calling a smaller, family-owned electrical business 20 minutes ago, and they’re coming over this evening to quote the job. Ken Hall could certainly take a lesson in customer service and management practices. Adelaide is a small place, and word of mouth is everything.
