Excellent service...thank you
RemovalsMy move was 1000km, so much could go wrong as happened with a previous removalist. One carton didn't arrive with the rest , but was promptly located and delivered. There was very little damage compared with the previous removalist which damaged just about everything. I was duly compensated by Kent and am very happy to recommend their service, especially for long distance.

Despite having a confirmed delivery date of 22/11/2023, I was informed at the last minute that they would not be able to deliver on the agreed date. This last-minute change caused significant inconvenience and additional financial costs, as I had to arrange temporary accommodation due to not being able to live in an empty house.

Their partner Kent Removal in Melbourne handled our shipment here in Melbourne. The experience in dealing with both of these companies has been very traumatic. If I could give a zero or minus star, I would have given that.

RemovalsKent were fantastic and did a great job on our recent interstate move from QLD to VIC. The guys arrived on time in both locations, worked very efficiently and there were no delays with the quoted turnaround time.
All of our furniture and belongings arrived in perfect condition including our marble dining table which we had decided not to crate. My partner has also previously used Kent and had a great experience with them too.

Do Not Use Kent!
RemovalsThe movers did not wrap one item of furniture for protection, which they have denied. The amount of things which were banged and knocked was terrible. They had a complete lack of care for our belongings and we had several pieces of furniture damaged. When we complained to head office they washed their hands of everything!

RemovalsAn abysmal service from Kent. I thought Kent was my customer where I worked, and they would surely provide a good, satisfying removal service for our interstate relocation.
Kent has disabled my Bed frame in Sydney, and after delivering it in Brisbane, they refused to assemble it. The best part was Brisbane's manager said that Kent didn't disable it in Sydney without knowing a white lie in front of the customer's face. Administration does not know their own policies. The 12th month was meant to be free, but was charged.

I have gotten rid of a number of large volume items like a vintage sideboard, the fridge, washing machine, bedside tables, dining table, large lowboy, 3 large metal trunks, kitchen items that filled a tea chest box, single bed and mattress, 3 seater couch and some other stuff. They are still making me pay the original quote and will apparently refund me afterwards. I'm not sure I will be refunded anything. I'm also paying for insurance for the original amount, so I don't know how this will work out to refund me the insurance value. RemovalsMy relocation to Queensland from Perth with this organisation - that I trusted because of its good reputation and brand in WA - was an utter nightmare because of the mismanagement of my move. Below is a summary of the loss and damage. I was compensated for the replacement of some items but because I found the damage to my couch after my initial claim for the other damage and loss, they have refused to do any more. Only recourse is to go legal.

Living in an apartment complex, move days need to be booked in with building management to ensure access to the elevator. Kent booked me in for a 9-12 timeslot, I booked the elevator, and advised kent removalists that they needed to adhere to the time slot.

UNPROFESSIONAL and REALLY ROUGH with your belongings
RemovalsThey move us up from Sydney to Gold Coast and we placed our removals in their storage facility for over a year, (it was insured for all the removals and storage) when it was delivered there was damage to 3 items, which they have declined to pay as it was not listed on their inventory, they are the one that itemise items not in boxes when they pick up your belongings, boxes are tagged as are loose items that are not in boxes, we paid insurance for the removals and storage and they have come back with because they were not itemised (I have never

StorageThey were very thorough in documenting all of the damage done to my painting, bed and wardrobe including smashing the mirror door. I don't understand how the painting was damaged when it was meant to be wrapped.
They effectively advised that its tough luck because I didn't get their insurance lol. Even though I have cumulatively spent thousands and thousands of dollars with them for this experience.
Positives were that they were good in communication and the majority of my items came back undamaged.

RemovalsWe made the mistake of paying up front, at Kent's insistence, for an interstate move after being reassured many times verbally and, at our request, with a note in the contract saying we would be refunded any difference based on the actual volume shipped.

what is the difference between kent and truck and 2 men and other smaller removalist service
Don't know -haven't used Truck and Two Men. Smaller companies don't do interstate moves
I had my furniture loaded directly into a shipping container. The removalist arrived with the container on the back of their truck. They then took this to a storage depot where it will remain for a few months until I am ready to use the furniture again. If you are looking at storage, this means you save by avoiding double handling. As for the removalist themselves, they were very efficient and friendly.
