Favourite kitchen appliance – Cannot live without it now. I have the standard 3 attachments that come with the mixer, the paddle, whisk & dough hook. I use the dough hook so often and make my own breads and pizza dough now. We have also bought the blender which has great power & the food processor which has been great for dips & food prep. The bowl is massive and all the parts are extremely easy to use & clean, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. Show details · 1
My wife loves it – What a great mixer my wife loves it. So easy to use and makes great bread and pastry products. Have used 3 attachments the whisk, dough maker and Paddle with ease The only issue I have down the track are the plastic holders and locking. Need to be gentle but my wife is. Show details · 1
It's perfect! – I have my Kenwood Chef XL KVL6300 for about 6 months and I'm very happy with my purchase. It's a powerful machine, very easy to use and clean. Another good thing is that you can add attachments. Show details
Major flaw in Chef XL – Major flaw- the attachments holder/locker is made of plastic, while the pasta roller attachment weighs 1330 grams. The result - broken attachment holder, due to combination of weight and rotation force! Show details · 1
Don't buy this machine – Very Dissatisfied with this CRAP.. unless you want to make 60 cup cakes at one time dont buy this!!! It only does super large batches, no good for anyone unless they want to bake cakes for 100 people at once. Bowl too big to do a normal size recipe!! Wont cream butter and sugar together... just plain CRAP! Paid $700 at Bing Lee. Doesnt have a… Read more
smaller bowl as beaters too big for a smaller bowl so no option there!! False advertisement! Should say on box you have to triple all your ingredients for the beaters to touch the ingredients... Phoned Kenwood and they dont Care! Dont waste your money on KENWOOD CHEF XL. Model: KVL 6300s Oh and P.S.. it shakes across the bench.
Excellent – I had my old Kenwood for 35 years. I bought the Kenwood Chef XL Elite KVL6300S. I find it quieter, the dial is smoother to turn. there is a lever at the back to pull the head up, It is powerful and beats quickly .The planetary action combined with the larger whisk covers the bowl area well. I still scrape the bowl sides in between beating. The… Read more · 1
bowl is large, larger than the old white Kenwood bowls, The bowl has a large capacity , it is stainless steel , The attachments are larger and stainless steel. I haven't used all the tools it comes with but I have noticed a new folding tool , for light airy folding. I have used the whisk which does a great job and I have used the dough hook, the motor is powerful enough to handle dense dough. It looks great and it does its job powerfully, quickly ,smoothly and reasonably quietly. I researched this thoroughly for ease of use and price, before I bought it and I am happy with it..
Silent Perfection – I recently upgraded my Kenwood Chef for a newer and larger model and was very pleasantly surprised by how much quieter it was. With a larger motor and capacity I found the XL Elite to be much quicker at getting my recipes were I needed them. I am still perfecting the ice cream bowl but this was a bonus free item and possibly one I would not… Read more
recommend, the mixer attachments provided with the unit are of top quality and give plenty of scope to play with.
