Kenwood FP220 Questions & Answers
I was using the juicer. Suddenly stopped working.
the blender is bad but all the accessories are still functional. cant find the fp220 anymore. that blender can i buy to use the accessories with?
I have a Kenwood multipro compact 750w 2.1 litre FP220 series food processor. I am looking to replace the broken food processor lid. Where can I get it?
I bought this machine today - I can get the blender working but no matter what I fiddle with I can't get the processor to work at all, no motor running - is there a secret to this. All parts seem locked in when I turn it on.
I had a bit of an issue at the very first try. you must make sure your spindle (the middle bit which goes through the centre of the food processor bit) is in place, as this is what will activate the food processor, and make sure all's well locked, even the jug (the food processor plastic part) itself. It won't start until it's all locked jug and lid. I'm sure this is not super helpful but once you get the hang of how it's supposed to lock, it should work. If not, I'd suggest you go to the shop where you bought it, if you can, and get them to demonstrate it, perhaps you have a defective unit? Also I find doing small batches is best with the food processor, don't fill it up to the top -- once you get it working :) it's a small food processor but works great for what it is.
I hope I can help you! Make sure that both the large jug is locked in first then lock the lid on afterwards, each of these have their own separate locking mechanism. The processor won't work without both of these locked separately. You can also ring their helpline I'm sure they'd be happy to help, if the instructions are too confusing (as they often are!)
Does it crush ice?
Sorry, I haven't crushed ice in it.
