Finally bought a kenwood – Good product, has lots of optional attachments which aren't that hard to come by as long as you're happy to shop online. A pretty quiet machine and all the parts that come with it are good quality. It looks good on the bench, even though we lack bench space, I have made this a priority as I reckon if I had to get it out of the cupboard regularly… Read more
I wouldn't use it as much. Am very happy with value as I bought it off someone who had only used it twice and for about half the store price. Looks good, quiet, flexi beater much better for baking cakes and things. Love that I don't have to mix rissoles by hand anymore. I still find I need to use a spatula to scrape the sides even using the flexi beater. It comes with a spanner to adjust the height of each mixing tool but I am still finding that at it's lowest point I still need to scrape bottom and sides. Also found using the dough hook for biscuit doughs just pushes it to the side rather than bringing it together, I'm sure for bread doughs it is better.

If you make cakes or batters, this is brillent. It makes the cakes much lighter than mixing by hand, and cleaning up is pretty easy with only a few pieces to wash. The parts… Read more
fit together easily and nicely, and for the size of the machine is relatively quiet.
Lots of further attachements can be purchased for this wonder as well, and knowing past Kenwood products, my one will be running for at least 50 years more. Mixes very well for most cakes Doesn't mix well when small volumes of mixture, price
Kenwood mixer – I missed my Kenwood after nearly 50 years of service, I had to buy a new one and love the light weight bowl which I find much easier at my age to lift. I also have a Thermomix but prefer to see what is doing with the mixing process. Its also much easier to clean. Inexpensive and easy to use.
